Considering lesbian aromantic Laura
#Marilyn is aroace and that's a really relevant part of her character; you can't have Marilyn without her asexuality or aromanticism#but I'd rather not have her be the one aromantic in a cast full of allos#so why not make Laura aromantic and have her be really casual about it#she would not know the term so it wouldn't be explicitly stated but it would be heavily implied#though this is just consideration... not fully canon yet#Marilyn: I don't feel love... (face in hands)#Laura: I don't feel romantic love!#Marilyn is loveless while Laura would feel strong platonic and familial love
