I'm extremely tired of people thinking everything is shit and the world's going to hell. People have been saying this dumb shit since our ancestors banged two rocks together and made fire. It's boring ass defeatism. I'm hardly a ray of sunshine but good god. Stop snorting the worst news you possibly can find. Or only getting it from one source. Or not retaining a healthy amount of skepticism. Or for the love of god not using fucking common sense.

#I wish I could lay down and die tbh but here I am #I wouldn't say I'm a defeatist though #I do what I can but I honestly just don't really care anymore #if the world burns it burns #the earth will fix itself even if humanity is no longer a part of it #but I honestly don't see apocalyptic visions as inevitable or even the direction we're headed 🤷‍♀️
