I've temporarily banned myself from both ao3 and twitter until I finish my (belated) goyuugo week fic. it's working, kind of? unfortunately I cannot ban myself from work too 😔

if I could write faster than like, 5 wpm I would be so happy...

#sock unravels #like I already knew that I don't actually write that fast to begin with #(I spend too much time thinking about what happens next & rereading parts that I like)#but it wasn't until I sat down and actually tried to do some sprints and saw my wpm that I was like #“oh. I'm SLOW slow at writing.”#also I like staying in my niche of 5k-ish word smutfics #but I hit 7k on this thing yesterday and I've still got two and half more “scenes” to go #and I would just like to be done with it soon thanks
