i am the person who puts Christmas decorations up as soon after Halloween as possible i’m already sick of the ‘ugh, Christmas decorations” people y’all make halloween last half the year, but god forbid I find a small kernel of joy by putting up a tree and singing happy songs for second longer than the alotted month

#except for handing out candy to cute kids in costumes #I don't really love Halloween #it's okay #I have friends who are spooky bitches and I like hanging around with them for mildly spooky things #but I get supremely annoyed when the very same people who start going WHEEEEEE HALLOWEEN ALL YEAR ROUND can't just let me have some happy #for just a little longer than the allotted time #I want you to have your fun even though I hate horror movies and scary things #let me have mine
