I am so tired of not being able to find basic Italian sweets anywhere near me anymore 😑
#there used to be SO MANY little italian bakeries & markets around here#now I can't find SHIT. I can't find LADY FINGER COOKIES. can't find spumoni ice cream. can't find my beloved stella d'oro#powdered anise cookies#I wanted lady fingers for my next cake. my brother gave me a GREAT idea tonight!#and I wanted to test it out & make a cake for 'felix's birthday' coming up soon#but I CAN'T FIND LADY FINGER COOKIES??!?! HOW TF ARE PEOPLE OUT HERE MAKING TIRAMISU??#I could order them for shipping but idk how they would arrive like if they were all broken I couldn't use them :/#rrrrrrrrrrrrrr#there's not even a bakery where you can get cannoli or anything anymore like I HAVE a lil pizzelle maker now I could 100% make my own#and I will 100% attempt it in the future it's just like wtf happened omg#erin explains it all
