what kind of cigarettes do y'all think Albert would smoke be honest...

let's factor in his age- when he died in 2009 he was 49 years old, so he was born in 1960 (HELP HE'S AS OLD AS MY DAD) and grew up in the 70's and 80's. like most people during that time period, he probably started young (if the umbrella researchers allowed it like imagine teen albert wesker being a rebel and smoking inside???) and got what was available ( probably swiped some from unsuspecting scientists)

the most popular brand in the 80's was marlboro- if you've never smoked a cigarette, marlboro reds have a kick to them, but they're a good beginner cigarette (golds are my favorites, they're the easiest to smoke imo but also kinda spendy... they taste better than reds, iykyk). when i think of albert i think of blues and blue-adjacent things i.e. a pack of blue menthol or the r.p.d. uniform (can you tell which iteration i like best?). not to mention he's probably been smoking for a while (he's a gilf) so he's upgraded from the normal size cigarettes to 100's or 120's- most likely 100's

tldr; albert smokes marlboro blue menthol 100's.

i just think he's neat...

i think it's crazy how some people boil dante down to someone who's in it for the money. a. it's very clearly not a wealthy profession just by how it's portrayed in the games, and b. that is most definitely not why he chose demon hunting as a profession.

maybe this is me misinterpreting things but since, y'know, his whole family was torn apart by demons he would want to destroy them. even though he is part demon, he uses that part of himself for good. i'm sure he hates himself at times for being part demon, i'm sure that's an insecurity he hides very well, but that's who he is. he wants to be human, he's a good guy, of course he wants to vanquish evil.

mundus destroyed his family in its entirety. he destroyed what vergil could have been, and he killed their parents. if mundus never happened, he'd probably still fight demons here and there, but i don't think that would be his job.

idk- this is just my perspective. i could be wrong.

every time i see trish x dante/vergil i want to bash my head in.

sometimes i get high and i write beautifully poetic stories and other times i get high and forget what a keyboard is so who am i really?

i'd like to get into this a little so pardon the rant here, skip past it if you're only following for RE stuff.

dante is not immature. he is in his forties, he's been through some shit. he's had to be an adult since he was young (eight-ish?) and navigate his way through growing up, finding his own moral ground, overcoming his mother's death and his father's disappearance. on top of that, he was separated from his brother, and for all he knew, vergil could have been dead. he spends dmc3 fighting his brother, sure, but he's ultimately trying to stop vergil from doing something stupid (i.e. do what his father did and defeat mundus.)

the ending of dmc3 probably made him think his brother was lost for good, and for all intents and purposes, he was. for the majority of his life, his entire family has been dead. he had nobody in dmc1 until trish came along and manipulated him into doing what mundus desired (not trish's fault! not a trish hater here.) the only reason he listened, stated in the final nightmare fight scene, is because she's a spitting image of his mother but she "doesn't have her heart," (that gutted me a little not going to lie.)

what im trying to get at is that dante is, in no way, immature. he's goofy and yes, at times, irresponsible, but he's not immature. people mistake his silliness and constant joking for being immature, but those are coping mechanisms.
