Like i genuinely dont know wjat tonsay. Tjis bitcb is currenrly ravaging my grey matter. I keep thinking about making a double coned hat inspired by them & sm medieval images ive found. I am going to buy the shaker charm for them when i havw some money again i rly fucking rarely buy any merch but for them. Idk what to tell u im p much like. I am Volta? Volta is me. I am her but if she was like a little guy from modern times. Volta is me? I am deadass planning to cosplay her.

Genuinwly tho she rlu reasonates w me. Glutton, (and in my case its a food thint but also a glutton for pleasures) to the point whrre it blanks out her ability to comprihend situations. Anyways he is like one of the hottest characters in arcana. S2g ppl do not give him enough credit and when im done w work today i might try to doodle some tit pics of him.

Vulgora

This is rly tough for me ro say bc i love all the courtiers but. I think along w Valdemar, Vulgora IS my favourite? They're just. So. Fucking. Intense. And as a rather intense person myself, i find it rly rly delightful (in fiction. Kinda scares me irl) when someone is capable of matching that? I am drawn 2 characters who are off the wall- weather visibly like Vulgora & Vlastomil & Volta or more Subdued like Valdemar. But Vulgoras energy just GETS ME. I think it would be so fucking fun to mess with them. God. I think along w that brash anger and pompousness does come a lot of frusturation which is SO fucking cute.

Also i think Vulgora jas just a rly fucking fun design???? Like they were not shy when designing them. Honestly their design rn is giving me some inspi for some of my own projects on just "your3 allowed to be extra and get inspiration from those golden palace theatre costumes".

they're all constellations and are all in order of appearance btw

Castys: she's a fox that appears in what looks like a jacket that bounds her arms to her side, making her unable to move. she built a tower to heaven and the gods decided to punish her by drowning her in the sea, but she just refused to die.

Dohr the Murderer: he is a cat carrying the decapitated head of a mouse in one hand and a sword in the other. The story goes that when Dohr passed by King Behrn's procession in the streets, he did not cheer. Behrn got offended by this and began insulting Dorh, his family, his village and even his chickens. so, Dohr got revenge by first killing the King's chickens, then his home village and then his family. but when Dohr got to the King, he was silent.

Sterling the Seer: she is a crocodile with old, ripped clothing who lies on the ground with a ball that moves towards her. one day, her king found a new astronomer and kicked Sterling out of his quarters because the new sage has told different stories about the stars then Sterling had said.

Simone the Fighter: she is a reindeer with a long coat and a musket in her hands. she and her comrades lived on good land, but all land isn't good for very long. it's never explicitly stated what happened but it's implied to be some sort of war. they freed many prisoners, they sabotaged plans and they infiltrated buildings. she evaded capture even when her wanted posters went up. many of the towns folk prayed that she would be their salvation. it was never found where she was buried, but we do know that when she went to charge the palace gates, but behind those gates were cannons. her bones where mixed with many of the others and it is said that she lives in the bones of her country.

Big Snake: Big snake is a constellation of a large snake with arrows punctured in its body. that's it. his story is that he's a really big snake.

Gramercy the Medium: he is a bird with a scraggly looking beard with a cone shaped hat who appears to be falling towards the ground. while he was alive, he could speak with the dead. once he died, his spirit returned and spoke through his body.

Adina Astra (my favourite!!): she is a crocodile wearing a fez with round glasses who holds a lantern. she traveled to the frozen lake and ventured many unknown lands. in her journey, she turned her back on the sky and traveled into the earth where the stars where no longer above her head. she was never seen again.

Ferdinand the Mountaineer: he is a bear who wears clothes meant for climbing and a rope around his torso while holding a flag. he had dreamed about mountains all his life and as he returned home from his many journeys, he complained of his shoulders feeling heavy. he had spent so much time up in the clouds that they now rested upon him.

The Firemaker: he is a bird in old winter clothing that sits near a warm fire. that is all that is really stated about him. in Mae's journal, he is referred to as Erskine.
