A/n this is my first fanfiction on tumblr and I’m still learning how this all works. So sorry if it’s horrible. Or just not well put together. You can also find me on Wattpad with the same username. Don’t go their unless you like a half done Harry Potter fics. Also credit to everyone who owns Supernatural and Knives out and the ones who made the gifs. There also might be a part 2 if you guys really want there to be one.

Warning there are spoilers for Knives Out and I think Season 9 of Supernatural

Y/n and her husband Harlan sat in their study. Working on different things but able to fill in the silents every once in a while with a question. Like ‘How long does it take for a person to bleed out of a stab wound from a lung?’ Which Y/n would answer with a simple ‘not even 20 minutes’(Not sure if that’s true).  Harlan would be writing his next New York Times best seller. While Y/n looked for cases nearby. If she found one away from her home. She sent it to Bobby a friend of hers that was also a hunter.

Soon Harlan’s kids and Grandkids and His mother would be over to celebrate his 85th birthday. Yet they sat in the study side by side working on their own things. After a couple hours of quite. Someone opened the door neither of them noticing. When the person was about to talk Y/n had a gun already pulled out on the person. When she realized who it was she put the gun down.

“Sorry Linda. You were to quiet”

“You never did tell me what you do.”Linda said trying to get the answer the rest of the family wanted to know.

“If I told you, Linda. I’d have to kill you.”Y/n said smiling at her.

“Y/n, Darling. Could I get some alone time with my daughter. Please.”Harlan asked.

“Sure, Hon. Love ya.”Y/n said closing her computer screen and getting up. She walked out of the room into the living room where the rest of Harlan’s family was at.

“Nana!”Meg said walking over to her Grandpa’s wife.

“Hey Dragonfly.”Y/n greets getting everyone else attention.

“Nana.” Y/n’(s) grandson Jacob said.

“Jakes.” 

Meg hugs the women and smiles big. Jacob also hugged her and smiled at her. Y/n brought the good out in the family. Sometimes.

“Hey Mom.”Walt greets her with a smile. Y/n smiles at him and leans in to hug him. By the time Linda and Harlan are done talking Y/n has caught up with everyone and was really waiting to lay in bed by now.

Time Skip

Marta had giving Harlan the wrong medicine. She was freaking out but Harlan and Y/n wasn't. Harlan and Y/n also had two different Ideas on how this was about to go down.

“Come on Harlan. We can pretend you died in your sleep. I’ll say I gave you your medicine because Marta was feeling sick. So you sent her home before she could do it.” Y/n said helping Harlan up. He nodded and they walked down to their room. Harlan and Y/n got ready for bed like always. Harlan laid on his side and Y/n cuddle into his side. Her head on his chest. Like every-other night.

The next morning Harlan would have died in his sleep if Marta had really giving’ him the wrong medicine which she didn’t. Which was proved in the autopsy. It actually showed that he died within his sleep. Like his heart slowly stopped beating. Everything that Harlan had went to Y/n. His now widow wife. Of course his kids were upset but they knew Y/n. She’d handle things they way the needed to be.

After a year Y/n had the Thrombey and Drysdale family in shape and none of them were assholes because of her. She made them work hard to get want they wanted in life. Which they worked and earned all by themselves. No help from her. Maybe some advice here and there but that was all. They had a lot to thank her for.

Time Skip a couple years

Y/n had met the Winchester Brothers. Who welcomed her into their hearts as if they were her younger brothers. They were all sitting at Jody’s dinner table enjoying Jody’s good homemade food. When Jody brought up something about sex. That both Dean and Sam wanted to leave right away. Y/n wasn’t really paying attention to them at all.

“Not all guys are packing right boys, Y/n?” Jody asked causing Sam and Dean to choke. While Y/n still wasn’t paying attention to them.

“When did you lose your virginity Y/n?” Alex asked finally making Y/n snap out of her mind.  She looked up at her name.

“What?” She paused to look at everyone. “Not gonna lie have not be listening to a thing you guys have said.”

“When did you lose your virginity?”Jody asked this time.

“Why?”

“Because I’m trying to prove my point.”

“Oh, I think 27, 28.”

“Really? I lost mine at 16.”Dean question/said.

“I lost mine to Jessica.” Sam butted in.

“Don’t pull a me though girls.”Y/n said shaking her head.

“No, I want them to wait. Just like you did.”Jody said. Before Y/n could say anything.Her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and answered. Everyone went quite as they wondered who she had answered the phone to.

“Hey baby boy. What’s up?” They could hear a male’s voice on the other end.

“No I would never miss you birthday Jacob.” Y/n said. The voice answered her.

“Okay I love you. Bye Jacob.”Y/n hung up after that.

“Who was that?”Claire asked finally cutting back into the convention.

“It was my grandson asking if I’d make it to his 17 birthday.” Y/n said shrugging her shoulders at the group.

“When did you have a kid?”Dean asked.

“I didn’t”

“Then how do you have a grandson?”Sam questioned her.

“My late husband.”

“What?” Jody tilted her head to the side a little.

“My late husband. He’s dead.”

“Yeah we kinda figured that out already. But that doesn’t tell us how you have a grandson.”Clair said.

“I married a man. That already had kids and grandkids. When he died I kinda took over the family.”

“What was his name?” Sam asked.

“Harlan Thrombey.”

“Like the book author?”Alex asked.

“Yeah. That was my husband. When he died, I took his asshole family and turned them into hardworking non-assholes.” Y/n said smiling at them.

“So what do you think I should get a 17 year old boy? Playboy?”Y/n asked the boys. Who looked dumbfounded at her.

“I’m still stuck on the part you were married to Harlan Thrombey. Who was 85 when he died.”Sam said.

“How long were you married to him?”Jody asked.

“Well, I was hired at 18. Then at some point when I was 20. He asked me to marry him because he wanted someone to get all of his things that wasn’t he’s kids and he was lonely. And I knew in this life the chances of me actually falling in love and getting married are really low. So I blew it to hell and got married to him after 5 months of us being engaged. Then we were married for 6 years before he died.” Y/n said explaining herself. Which she knew she didn’t have to but she felt like she did. No one said anything after that.

“Trust me. That man was my best friend for 9 long years. He knew about the life. So he understood a lot of things. Hell he even met Bobby and Rufus.” Y/n added.

“Well, let’s finish dinner.”Jody said feeling the empty silence that filled the air. Sam nodded his head in agreement and everyone went right back into eating.

Went to scotts BBQ as you know yesterday and it was something I needed. It was nice. Everyone asked how things were. I came to terms with it. But after a while and a few drinks we just lay there looking at the sky for like 20 mins. Me, Joe, Scott and Craig. It was just different. It was nice. Ended up at home at 12, went to be, woke up at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep for a while then Lara got my up at 8. Ended up buying a maccies for me, lara, meg and tom. Came to £30, great. But my day was about to change.

 I couldn't stop thinking about you. Cant remember if ive said this already, but I messaged your mom to see how you were getting on, well to see if you was alright. She didn't say much, just thanked me for checking up. So I messaged you. Not about the break, or if you were ready to talk or anything like that. Just to see how you were. We had a nice to and throw and it was nice. Then I asked the question. I asked to see if you wanted to come over and watch some programs. We didn't need to talk, or anything else, just sit and watch our programs and for me anyway just having you as company. I was so scared, I didn't want to ask as I didn't know how you'd feel about it. but... YOU SAID YES . I wish I could tell you that I didn't stop smiling for 2 hours, but id be lying. I wish I could tell you it wasnt the happiest ive been for the entire week, but again id be lying. Then I went into a panic.

 If I had 1 shot, 1 shot to show you I care it would be today. Of course it wasnt just going to be sitting there in silence watching programs. No, we wouldn't be talking about the situation but I had a few things planned. If you could come over early enough it would mean that you wouldnt of ate. So I was going to cook you food. I took Lara to Tesco, we walked down just a little after you said yes. Got some prawns, noodles, garlic, onion, the small onion thing, Nandos hot sauce. That was going to be for dinner. Then I got, Cheese and Onion crisp, Maltesers, toffee popcorn, and some drumsticks as this was going to be snacks before dinner. Then I also go myself some ice cream to pair with the one you've left here and some chocolate which I was going to melt on top and place into the fridge to harden it. I put my candle downstairs all day and closed the door, so it warmed it up a little and also smelt nice. I even brought you Lemon Iced Tea, I was pulling out all of the stops apart from flowers as it thought it might be a little too much. I also had something else planned if it progressed further but no a chance im writing that here. But that would only be a bonus. Minimum I wanted was you just being here and having some time to not think about anything and hope you'd have a nice time just being with me again. But I was going to use whatever I had to make you see how much you mean to me and I care. To try and relight the flame you had lost. 

 The only problem was, Sarah asked you to go out as she had some issues and hadn't seen you for a while. OUT OF ALL THE DAYS. But I understood. I wasnt angry or upset you didn't come in the end. I enjoyed just having a conversation with you again. I really enjoyed just speaking to you throughout the day. And it gives me hope that we can still make this happen and I still have my chance. Only issue is now, I dont see a situation where both my mom and dad are out of the house for you to come over and they not ask any questions, before I go on holiday. So its over to you now. I have 1 chance tomorrow morning before they come back, but that all depends on what time you wake up. Im writing this on the 19th, Ive been up since half 5 because of Thea, and I message you before 6 as you were active, but just as I sent it, you went offline so I take it you only just gone to bed so I wont speak to you till 12ish. But we shall see. Im glad you enjoyed your night out as much as I enjoy my day today

1. What season did you start watching Supernatural? Uhhh 8? Maybe 9? I don’t remember lol

2. Who was the first character you fell in love with? Cas. Cas was actually the reason I started watching the show in the first place. I’ve never been a fan of scary movies so I thought I was going to have to suffer through the first three seasons before I got to the good stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised.

3. Who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love?: Dean? *ducks for cover* I wouldn’t say hate but I spent a whole episode and a half wondering what y’all saw in him. Needless to say, I get it now ;)

4. Which character would you most want to be in a long-term relationship with? None? Uh if I had to pick maybe Bobby? Friendships count as relationships, right? We’d have the best bro-ship in the universe where he does whatever he wants and I do whatever I want. Easy as pie.

Hi hi friends! Happy Monday! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one filled with good food, fun celebrations, solid workouts, Queer Eye binging, and relaxation time. Ours was definitely a mix of all of the above.

(Also, I can’t get the Pilot on board with Queer Eye. He FELL ASLEEP the first night i asked him to watch it with me. Rude.)

We enjoyed a lovely date night at North,

planted some succulents,

and celebrated Meg at her baby shower!

I was so honored and excited when they asked if I’d mind hosting the shower at our house. I already love baby August so much and was so thrilled to provide the space for our family and friends to get together and honor the little guy on the way. I can’t believe he’ll be here soon – early April! – and I’m anxiously waiting to meet the little guy. Liv and P are going to go crazy for him, too.

He’s already a well-dressed dude and received so many adorable outfits at the shower. I couldn’t even handle the tiny dinosaur slippers, dapper outfit combos, and footie pajamas. Ugh, the best.

Also, I can’t take credit for any of the gorgeous party decor – Meg’s mom and sis brought the decorations for the party and we put everything together a couple of hours before the guests arrived.

For lunch, we had a taco bar. Many of the ladies in the family brought various parts of the meal, from chicken, shredded beef, toppings, tortillas, etc… it was quite the feast.

I made a huge batch of beans (I soak them overnight then cook in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes with 2 whole heads of garlic, enough water to go halfway up the beans, lots of salt, oregano, and a little cumin) and easy Mexican rice (also cooked in the Instant Pot).

My friend Amy made the beautiful cake which tasted even better than it looked. The cake was wedding cake flavored with cream cheese frosting as the filling, and was a light, fluffy dream. She also made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling. YAS.

We played the necessary baby shower games, “oh how cuuuuuute”-ed our hearts out as Meg opened gifts, and enjoyed fabulous cake and company. It was the perfect way to celebrate!

While we were doing the baby shower thang, the Pilot took the girls on some adventures. First, they had a birthday party for a good friend, and then they headed to the zoo to saw hi to the animals, enjoy the elaborate Lunar New Year lanterns, and ride the carousel,

they met up with Kyle and EJ for gelato.

Afterwards, when the baby shower had ended, everyone came over to our house (or just stayed after the shower) for a St. Patrick’s Day feast, courtesy of madre. She made savory corned beef, potatoes, and carrots, grilled cabbage, and brought fresh loaves of soda bread. We ate outside while the cousins played on the playset, and listened to Irish music on the bluetooth speaker. It was a great way to cap off a full weekend.

This morning, it’s back to the swing of life around here. I’m looking forward to meeting a blog friend for a barre3 class, blasting through some work assignments, and making shrimp scampi for dinner.

I hope you have a happy Monday and I’ll see ya in the morning with a new workout.

Hi hi friends! Happy Monday! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one filled with good food, fun celebrations, solid workouts, Queer Eye binging, and relaxation time. Ours was definitely a mix of all of the above.

(Also, I can’t get the Pilot on board with Queer Eye. He FELL ASLEEP the first night i asked him to watch it with me. Rude.)

We enjoyed a lovely date night at North,

planted some succulents,

and celebrated Meg at her baby shower!

I was so honored and excited when they asked if I’d mind hosting the shower at our house. I already love baby August so much and was so thrilled to provide the space for our family and friends to get together and honor the little guy on the way. I can’t believe he’ll be here soon – early April! – and I’m anxiously waiting to meet the little guy. Liv and P are going to go crazy for him, too.

He’s already a well-dressed dude and received so many adorable outfits at the shower. I couldn’t even handle the tiny dinosaur slippers, dapper outfit combos, and footie pajamas. Ugh, the best.

Also, I can’t take credit for any of the gorgeous party decor – Meg’s mom and sis brought the decorations for the party and we put everything together a couple of hours before the guests arrived.

For lunch, we had a taco bar. Many of the ladies in the family brought various parts of the meal, from chicken, shredded beef, toppings, tortillas, etc… it was quite the feast.

I made a huge batch of beans (I soak them overnight then cook in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes with 2 whole heads of garlic, enough water to go halfway up the beans, lots of salt, oregano, and a little cumin) and easy Mexican rice (also cooked in the Instant Pot).

My friend Amy made the beautiful cake which tasted even better than it looked. The cake was wedding cake flavored with cream cheese frosting as the filling, and was a light, fluffy dream. She also made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling. YAS.

We played the necessary baby shower games, “oh how cuuuuuute”-ed our hearts out as Meg opened gifts, and enjoyed fabulous cake and company. It was the perfect way to celebrate!

While we were doing the baby shower thang, the Pilot took the girls on some adventures. First, they had a birthday party for a good friend, and then they headed to the zoo to saw hi to the animals, enjoy the elaborate Lunar New Year lanterns, and ride the carousel,

they met up with Kyle and EJ for gelato.

Afterwards, when the baby shower had ended, everyone came over to our house (or just stayed after the shower) for a St. Patrick’s Day feast, courtesy of madre. She made savory corned beef, potatoes, and carrots, grilled cabbage, and brought fresh loaves of soda bread. We ate outside while the cousins played on the playset, and listened to Irish music on the bluetooth speaker. It was a great way to cap off a full weekend.

This morning, it’s back to the swing of life around here. I’m looking forward to meeting a blog friend for a barre3 class, blasting through some work assignments, and making shrimp scampi for dinner.

1. What season did you start watching Supernatural? Summer between 10 and 11. Finished just in time to watch 11 live.

23. If you could cast one famous actor in an episode of SPN, who would you chose? Oh heavens um… Sophia Bush. She’d be an excellent badass hunter, enough to even give Dean a run for his money. Yep. I need this.

24. If you could write your own episode, what kind of creature would you like to see included? Can we send the boys to a snowy winter wonderland to deal with a Yeti? That would be hilarious!

25. Who’s your favorite girl that Dean’s hooked up with? Cassie. Also a lot of lost potential there.

26. Who’s your favorite girl that Sam’s hooked up with? Sarah. I know it wasn’t a real hookup but I just loved the two of them.

27. What are some of your favorite convention moments? Too many to list, honestly. Jensen singing at Asylum 14, he’s so shy and adorable. Whipping post at Nashcon, still not over that. Vancon 15, Jensen really came into his own as a rockstar. As far as panels go? I love them all. Nothing makes me happier than watching panels. And then I have my own personal con moments, and there’s too many there to recount.

Steve got up and went to work. He had a short day so he should be home after about 5 hours. The couple got up around 0800 and again, were loud as anything. It's just principal not to be loud whilst others are sleeping. I got up and out of bed at 0930 when they left the room. Stupid people. I carried on doing my blogs which were taking hours. I tried to do my photos again but it wasn't connecting to my laptop so I'll have to text my brother to see what I'm doing wrong. I really needed breakfast and a drink as I had sat in my bed for a few hours. That's the annoying thing about being on the 10th floor. It takes ages to go to the kitchen and back. I wanted to get finished before I started my day properly.

At 1230, Sophie messaged asking if I wanted to have lunch with her. I said yes – meet at 1300 on level 3! Steve was on his way home and expressed his starvation vividly. He told me that he wanted turkey mince wraps and salad for lunch as he was starving. His stomach was eating itself. His stomach thought his throat had been cut. He needed 20 million wraps... And so on. 

I went to Coles and got what we needed. It was all cooked and ready as he walked through the door. I am a great housewife! We sat with Sophie chatting away. It was Thursday so free Prosecco night at  ABC. We sat we would meet around 1700.

After lunch, Steve went upstairs to get his work stuff off. I went to Sophie's room to do her bandage as its on the back of her neck and she can't reach. I done it for her the other day too. She has doctors in an hour or so at 1530 so hopefully he will tell her no more antibiotics or bandages...

I went upstairs and that awful couple checked out! YES! Fingers crossed for new quiet roommates. 

Steve said he was absolutely exhausted so I told him to have an hour nap. He doesn't like to nap as he struggles to sleep at night time if he does. I said that I was going to get Mel a birthday card and present for tomorrow if he wanted to come for the walk to wake him up. He remembered he needed to go to Office Works to print out time sheets. Both of the shops were in walking distance (5 minutes away). I got Mel a card with an avocado on the front saying “I hope you avo really nice day”. She loves avocados and I think they're the most pointless veg in the world. I tried to find her Quorn chicken nuggets but they weren't being sold anywhere. I ended up getting her a dog tote bag (which was only $2 that goes to charity), broccoli, peppers, vegetarian burgers and an avocado. It sounds silly but these are all luxury items so she'll be pleased. It's also best not to buy people things that have to be carried round with them.

We got back to the room and I wrote out Mel's card. She loves Steve and I – she calls herself our third wheel. She's travelling here alone but doesn't want us to leave. I told her she's happy to follow us if she wants too. It's not an issue to us. 

Steve and I have been told a lot that we are a really nice couple which has been good to hear. Sophie said we are the first couple she's met where she likes both parties equally. We met Mel's boyfriend – Jack, for the first time at the weekend and he told Mel that he really likes us. He finds Steve funny (somehow). He said that he gets the vibe that Meg and Dan don't eve like each other but would spend time with Steve and I again.

Steve and I learnt a lot about how we've been brought up this weekend. Well, I have. Steve probably didn't think into it. We were the only ones to properly tidy up when we left the houses at the weekend. Steve was cleaning down the sides and I was picking up and folding used towels. I didn't want them to think we were disgusting people even though we'd never see them. We made the beds again and cleaned out the bath, put stuff away after using them. It's very easy to see how people are brought up when you live with them. I think we're quite alright.

Anyway, off subject slightly... 

Mel rang me and said she was coming to the room. I quickly put her stuff into my locker and she sat on my bed and we chatted away. She was having an emotional couple of days because she doesn't like her birthday, especially away from home. She had a bit of a tiff with Jack because he wants to title their 'relationship' as official but she wishes to keep it as 'seeing' each other for now, whilst they're in Australia. They both knew each other from home so they could go for it properly at home. I really like Jack and I can see how much he likes Mel. She has commitment problems after her ex.

Sophie came knocking on the door and she came in and sat on Steve's bed. We chatted away for a while. She had just got back from the doctors who confirmed – NO MORE ANTIBIOTICS! Woo. She has been on them for months so she's very excited to get drunk tonight. It was 1715 by the time Mel and Sophie left the room. I got dressed, Mel made spaghetti hoops on toast and Sophie changed her outfit. 

We met in the kitchen at 1800. We left a little after schedule (as always) and got the tram to ABC. Megan was going to meet us there and she was making dinner. I didn't want dinner and Sophie was going to buy the $5 pizza there.

We got there, ordered our first free Prosecco and sat down. Soph's pizza came quiet quickly – they're always ordered on a Thursday so I presume they make batches. 

Mel's friend Neesa was in ABC too and asked us to sit with her. Soph and I didn't really want too as we had met her before a few Thursday's ago. We got up and moved to their table. She had about 8 friends with her and we all squished up around this small round table. We were drinking and chatting away. Neesa is from Ireland, where Sophie lives and Neesa's friend, Zara is from Aldershot, near to where Mel lives.

Megan joined us around 1930. She got her Prosecco and squished in next to us. We had about 4 Prosecco's by this point so we fairly tipsy. We got up and danced around and came back to the table. We got one more final drink at 2030. The bar tender said the rules had changed and it's not longer 1900-2100 $1 Prosecco which is rubbish! We had a cheap glass of wine and left to dance to Despacito. 

We went back to the table and everyone had left. Sophie and my coat had left also... I couldn't believe that we got up to one song and our coats had gone. What scumbags would take two coats and a scarf. Honestly! We went to the bar staff and security, left our details and whatever else. I said to Mel that I reckon her friends had taken them, maybe by accident, maybe on purpose. 

Sophie wasn't afraid to ring them so she did. Neesa said “I'm sorry, my friends lifted your coats. We will meet you somewhere to give them back?”.

I knew it. Mel was shocked. She's going to delete them off Facebook and whatever else. The were only cheap Kmart coats but its principal... I spent ages without a coat waiting to get the money to afford a cheap one, not to have it stolen under my eyes! Neesa said they couldn't wait the whole 10 minutes for us to meet them to get them back. They said they would drop them into the hostel and we can get them from reception... We got outside the hostel, all the girls ordered McDonald's and I went upstairs to see if they had dropped them off...

They were in reception except Sophie's scarf wasn't returned. Never mind. At least we will be warmer. We got the main things back. How rude!

I made a turkey salad wrap and ate that. The girls demolished the rest of Sophie's birthday cakes and Mel made her, Soph and me some toast. Steve came downstairs and said that we had the worst roommates check in, again!

They were two French guys drinking, getting ready to go out. Steve was getting ready for bed for work in the morning. I hope they leave soon. It was only 2200...

We went upstairs and I got ready for bed. I laid in bed, in my PJ's tucked in, 'waiting' to go to sleep. I thought if they saw me trying to sleep, it would make them hurry up and leave. To which it did! 

Hurray, They left and Boris asked if I wanted the light out. I said yes and hoped that they had a good night...

The Winter league entertained Monte Mar. Points were  1  for and 11 against. Shots were 77 for and 92 against. The five loosing rinks were close but La Marina didn’t quite make it.  The one point was won by Mo Taylor, Mike Smith, Phil Pape and Shirley Hadaway, gaining a draw of 17-17. HORADADA BOWLS CLUB BY IRENE GRAHAM Only one match to report on this week as we are now at the end of the winter season.  Win or lose the weather has been really kind to the Bowlers this winter with very few bad days.  The Falcons were at home to Emerald Isle Moonrakers and we were all very well aware that we had to produce the goods.  All but one of the rinks had really close results with the lead going back and forth a few times.  An exciting morning with the Falcons coming out on top.  We won on 3 rinks lost on 2 and it’s thanks to one of our rinks that secured us the overall shots.  Our winning rinks were: Irene Graham, Janet Jukes and Barry Evans 13 – 9 Wayne Jackson, Les Davies and Mick Kirby 23 – 8 Tracey Paffett, Ken Barber and Roy Thomson 17 – 14 The final score being 83 shot for to 66 against giving us 8 points to 4 against. Very well played to all of our team, we each played our part in helping the Falcons to move up a place to remain in division ‘B’.  We are equal in points to Quesada Rubies, but we just managed to pip them at the post on shots. The Royals with their last match result also moved 2 places up the table to finish in 7th place, only 1 point behind 6th.  We are a small membership club and to remain in the ‘B’ division for both the leagues is an excellent result for us. Again very well played to everyone who has played throughout the winter season and a special thanks goes to our Team Captain Peter Davis and Vice Captain Ron Odell for their efforts in putting a team together.  We know it is not an easy task. I went to a party last night and actually had a good time

my friend Maggie who i met through my ex invited me to a party at her place on campus yesterday morning. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go but it was actually good timing because the 14th should’ve been my 6th month w my ex and i was trying not to think about it but yesterday was really hard. and so it was nice to spend it drunk with 30 other people instead of drunk alone in my room

it started at 10:30 but i was worried about being too early so i got there at 11 (people were in and out the whole time so it was fine). maggie was delighted to see me when i got there. it was a vine-themed party so she and sammy o told me to go onto the porch so they could take a video of my vine (it was really loud inside). i had a blanket and sunglasses and was the “all around the world” vine. after that, i went in and anna rae showed me where i could put my stuff and told me to help myself to snacks and the punch maggie made that was very strong (i think anna rae said the word strong about six times in a row to describe it).

so i got a plastic cup full of it - it was just orange punch with orange slices in it and a lot of vodka. towards the end of the cup it was really vodka-tasting but it drank it all. then i had water, and throughout the span of the night, i had two more half-cups of the punch (so 2 cups total the whole night) and about 2 cups of water, if not a little bit more).

i got pretty damn drunk so i don’t remember the order of everything that happened. meg hill found me pretty quick and we chatted for a little. i caught up with joey too. then i just kind of wallflower-ed it near the dance floor while i waited to get drunk. this beautiful beautiful beautiful girl named julia - who gave off major lesbian vibes and who was the “i have the power of god and anime on my side” vine and killed it every time with her homemade pointer wand - came up to me and shook my hand to introduce herself. she was fucking so cute. she’s a junior. she thought i was a first year since she’s never seen me around (im a senior) and she was like “how have i not seen you!” and sam lee was like “you just havent been around when she was hanging out!” and i was like cool sam remembers me

at some point this song came on and seriously like 15-20 people got in the middle of the living room and did the dance that went along with it??? i have no clue what song it was. jean luc was like saying “go forward, go back. go forward...” and like other directions during it. i almost joined in at one point but decided not to, then i saw andy at the other side of the dance group gesture for me to come and join and i said i didnt know the song and he said he didnt either so i went over but then the song ended lmao (side note: forgot i also saw andy before this and said hi briefly)

after this, i don’t remember what song came on a little while later. i was drunker, and kind of dancing a tiny bit. and meg hill gestured for me to dance with them. i think it might have been when Africa came on, or during whatever song played right before Africa. i dunno but that was fun. and i talked to meg a lot which was cool. she’s my year but under 21 so she wasnt drinking (somebody was actually having under 21 people put marks on their hands but most of them were still drinking anyway so i didnt get the point?). she was the “an avocado, thanks” vine, which i found out when i suddenly noticed an avocado in her hand that she had taken out of her pocket. meg asked where i lived and offered her roommate’s bed or a couch to me if i needed to stay somewhere instead of driving home which was so nice. then maggie came over & said she was so into girls and i came out as bi to her because i was apparently drunk enough to do that, so that was cool.

i don’t remember when, i think it might have been shortly after that, that she brought up fred and said she had no idea we had broken up until she mentioned the party to him and she said i was probably gonna be there and that was when he told her (nearly a month after the fact). sammy o was over with us at that point and was apologizing for it and i kind of complained to them that he hadn’t told anyone, not even his dad, and they were like !!! (because we were drunk and everything is extra dramatic then). i told them that he said it was because he couldn’t handle the distance and maggie started talking about how it’s because he’s so sad and he’s never going to be able to have a real long-term relationship because of that and that’s when i said “self-sabotage” which she strongly agreed with. he has literally used that phrase to my face before about himself, including When. We. Broke. Up. he said “i might be self-sabotaging...” WHICH HE 100% was and will do for the rest of his life and just have flings with girls who think they’re gonna live happily ever after, when he knows full well that that isn’t going to happen. i’m adding most of this in right now, i didn’t bring any of this up last night lol. anyway they asked if i wanted to join DND and i said sure, but i don’t know if they’ll even remember. it’s thursday nights which is kind of annoying, but if they bring it up before their next night, i think i might go, i dunno. but then we all started complimenting each other and sammy o and maggie both said i was so cool and i told sammy i thought she was way cooler and so talented and she was so flattered, she’s so cute.

at some point i danced to take on me. jean luc and meg hill and a couple others would shout “AVOCADO THANKS! AVOCADO THANKS!” during instrumentals of the song while meg held the avocado in the air.

this guy elijah from u albany introduced himself to me shortly after his friend joe g did. he was super cool and nice.

eventually, a little after 1, maggie ended the party. i had felt really good and relatively confident all night, and then i cried on the way home over fred. i don’t really know why. maybe i was thinking that if this were last semester, i wouldn’t have to drive all the way home at 1:30, and i’d be sleeping next to him in his apartment bed.

i cried tonight. i felt really welcomed and happy at the party last night, and tonight my friend trevor said it’d be fun if i went out to the bar with him and dave (he even used an exclamation point). and i thought about how nice people were to me last night and how these people seem to kind of like me and i started crying and i guess then i thought about how all these people i want to like me actually like me, but there’s one person i need and he isn’t around. he doesn’t care. and it’s fred and i’m so heartbroken still. tomorrow will be one month since we broke up and i don’t think it will hurt as bad as yesterday but i’m so sad and i want to text him so bad and i want to know he actually misses me and is hurting. i’m so confused. it doesn’t even feel like we dated. i saw a picture of him on facebook earlier and was like “i dated him?” because it just doesn’t even feel like it happened. i wrote down all these memories because im insane and sentimental so like i have these images of us together in my head but it feels like things just got refreshed or something and everything from the last 6 months never happened. and it’s an uncomfortable feeling and i don’t know what to do with it. i loved him and tonight while i was crying i realized i still might and i don’t know what to do. i want to talk to him so bad. maggie said “fuck fred!” last night at the end of that conversation about him and i laughed at the time because i was wasted and felt great but now i have a lump in my throat because i just want him in my life again. im so hurt still and i thought i was doing better but i’m really aching so bad.

wow when i tried to start writing this 6 hours ago it was going to be a happy post but now that i’ve been crying it just sucks.
