it was 8am on a saturday when you received a frantic call from your boyfriend, and despite the urgency he seemed to emit - due to numerous unanswered messages and previous calls, he spoke in a quiet voice - making you miss almost half of the conversation. all you heard was "please y/n i need you" before the call abruptly ended, and that was enough for you to abandon previous plans of catching up on your favourite show and rush over to your boyfriends house.

safe to say, the sight that greeted you was not what you expected. the unpredicted sight being, your boyfriend, yang jungwon, looking as tired as ever, although this was about the time he would be waking up, greeting you with his usual good morning message. the tired boy was accompanied by a cute toddler who attached her self to his leg, pulling at his pants to get his attention. assessing the situation you only let out a small chuckle as your boyfriend mouthed 'help me' with a panicky expression.

so thats what you did, you entered his house finding the situation quite funny, sporting a huge grin that successfully caught the attention of the small child. and for the rest of the day you joined jungwon during his 'torture' as he liked to call it, playing fun games, telling scary stories and even playing dress up - which resulted in two pink bows being placed in the front of jungwon's head. "wow! my boyfriend is prettier than me now" you teased him with a small pout, mimicking a sulky expression. "but no-one's pretty than my baby," he responded with a shake of his head, leaning closer to reinforce his statement. you caught sight of his puckered lips and made the move to push him away "not in front of the ba-" but before you could finish you felt a pair of lips on your own and a hand on your back pulling you closer. and soon you were pulling away from his embrace to be greeted by a smiley jungwon, and an even happier baby nestling her way into your lap.

Annie loved you more than anything.

Her silent cries at night were all for you. All the tears she shed, all the screams she suppressed and all the smiles she faked… She was burning for you but you were also drunk in love and blinded by it. You’d never see it. How could you when that asshole acted oh so perfect around you?

Annie met you during the first semester in your history class. She was surprised when you sat next to her and introduced yourself saying “You seemed so sweet!” then you played with her pens for the rest of the class. You were this sweet cutie pie; unlike her, you would always smile and be full of energy. You reminded her of sunshine. When you made her smile for the first time, there was a foreign feeling in her chest. She thought it was embarrassment but it was far deeper than a simple feeling. She would catch you everywhere, even without the intention to do it: in the campus library, at the café right next to your department building. And every time, you’d smile brightly and invite her to sit next to you. When she refused you would get up from your seat and took her hand, fingers tangled as you ran with her. The same feeling got heavier when you asked her to be your roommate. And she understood the concept of love for the first time when you fell asleep on her chest.

You were so perfect that nobody deserved to be around you. But you chose him. Among all those, you had chosen Reiner as your lover.

“He is an asshole.” She said when you first started talking about him. She knew him better than you and she knew that he wasn’t a guy to be trusted. “He’ll break your heart.”

But there you two were, holding hands and kissing each other.

She was angry at you. She was boiling with rage every time Reiner held your hand, kissed each knuckle and whispered “I love you”s to your neck.

Annie deserved to be the one for you, not Reiner. She was the one who held you so close when your ex cheated on you with a stupid girl. She helped you sleep before your important exams. She carried you to your bed when you fell asleep in front of your laptop studying. Not Reiner.

She fought her tears, the lump in her throat before turning her eyes to her phone once more. Caressing her home screen, a photo you took forcefully while kissing her.

A tear fell onto her screen. She wiped the drop and smiled in pain.
