i might be the only person standing on this hill but hear me out,
marcus, sydney and carmy would make a cute throuple
#by cute i mean funny and interesting#i have supporting evidence in the shape of ilegible notes on my notebook#but i'll throw what i can remember here#marcus being one of the first people to trust carmy after getting sound advice from him on how to make bread#marcus re-decorating his working station with pictures of carmy's dishes - paralelling syd's admiration and respect for carmy's career#both syd and carmy trusting marcus' process to create new desserts - him having the initiative and ingenuity to add new things to the menu#marcus helping and comforting sydney after the veal stock mess in the walk in#carmy comforting marcus after the power at the beef went out#carmy's meltdown in e7 hurting sydney and marcus the most because they were growing into their roles and talents with carmy's support#sydney having marcus over to check-in after that whole disaster / him being all cute and impressed by her knowledge#sydney and carmy being telepathic about sending marcus to copenhagen to be trained#no one and i mean no one can tell me carmy didn't have a situation with lucas like c'mon? charming and funny and competitive?#they at least made out - carmy is bi in my books#and the convos between lucas and marcus like yes#they could be friendly and mentor-y but the logistics of sending someone an engraved plaque across the world????? a bit romantic if u ask m#the whole 'sydney's donut/the michael' scene#anyways beso de tres and bisexuality for the win
