Shota Aizawa’s First Kiss

It’s dusk in the city. From a dingy rooftop, Shota watches the golden summer sun slip beneath the jagged horizon line of skyscrapers. Sure, the city is beautiful from up here. But honestly, he wishes he were in the grimy streets below throwing punches at villains. Two weeks into his internship and he’s already starting to feel frustrated, cooped up and useless. The Pro Hero mentor that he and Oboro Shirakumo share has been pleasant enough – giving them tips and teaching them a combat technique or two. But when it comes to practical hero skills, the Pro has been leaving Shota and Oboro to watch from the sidelines as he cleans up the city streets with his sidekicks.

Shota watches as their mentor zigzags through the alleyways below, chasing after a car thief. He balls his hands into tight fists and counts to ten, letting out a deep sigh of irritation. He turns to his friend to remark on how useless he feels but is stunned into silence when he sees the way the sunset’s glow sparkles across Oboro’s gentle features.

There’s no doubt about it - Oboro Shirakumo is an attractive young man. At 18 he’s tall and slight, his face almost impish with its sharp upturned nose and soft cheeks. His puffy silver hair flows around his face, almost weightless. His quirk allows him to create clouds of all shapes and sizes – his hero name “Loud Cloud” is a bit on the nose.

Currently, Oboro sits cross-legged on one of his clouds, eyes closed. He’s floating a few meters off the ground, hands tucked behind his head as he enjoys the last of the sun’s heat. Shota marvels for a moment in his friend’s beauty – the way he just seems to radiate warmth. Oboro’s eyelids flutter open and he looks down at Shota questioningly.

“What’s on your mind, Eraser?” He asks, getting to his feet and letting the cloud dissipate into vapor. Shota shifts on his feet, remembering why he’s in such a sulky mood.

“We’re not learning anything valuable here. Maybe we should ask UA to have us reassigned.” He groans, shoving his hands in his pockets reflexively.

“You’re always so impatient, Shota.” Oboro Shirakumo puts a hand on Aizawa’s shoulder, grinning good-naturedly at his friend. “We’re learning plenty! Also - these things take time. You can’t completely level up and be patrolling the streets in two measly weeks.”

Shota glares at his friend through his peripherals. He shakes off the warm hand that’s causing goose bumps to bloom under his dark hero costume.

Of course he would say something like that. It’s no surprise that Oboro thrives in the agency environment – as an extrovert, he’s naturally good at networking and picking up office culture. Shota’s brooding nature doesn’t quite fit in the bright, window filled agency office in the center of the city. He constantly feels uncomfortable and out of place. The sidekicks try to be nice to him, but he can sense their discomfort as well. No one aside from Oboro seems to know how to interact with Shota and his quiet, gloomy vibe.

Shota finally voices the true thought that’s been nagging at him. “I don’t belong here, Oboro. I should be interning with an underground hero.” Shota tucks his chin into his chest – a childhood habit that’s stuck with him and comes out when he’s brooding. Oboro considers him, a soft smile pulling at his lips.

“Stop sulking, Shota.” Shirakumo says simply, causing a lightening strike of anger to flare up in Shota’s chest. On instinct, his quirk activates and his hair flares up.

“Wow, you are really in a bad mood today, huh?” Oboro looks at him appraisingly, still smiling. He’s not afraid of Shota – he never has been. “Shota. I think it’s important that you learn the basics from a Pro in the spotlight. There are so many lessons here that can easily be applied to underground hero-work. Plus, you’ve gotta make connections with all types of heroes so you can hit people up for team-ups in the future.”

Shota grumples unintelligibly – he knows that Oboro is right. But that doesn’t mean he has to like it. He takes a few deep breaths and deactivates his quirk, his dark hair falling back down to his shoulders.

“You know what your problem is, Shota? You really need to learn how to chill the fuck out.” Oboro activates his quirk and forms a new cloud beneath his feet. It lifts him up a few feet into the air and he rides it like a skateboard around the length of the roof before coming to a stop back at Shota’s side. “For example – instead of being existentially angsty right now, you could be enjoying this beautiful sunset with your best friend. Look at all those golden colors and the way the city sparkles in the light, Shota! It’s a Kodak moment!”

Shota glances to the side and once again is struck by how pretty Oboro’s face is, his silver hair sparkling in the dying light of the sun. Oboro turns back to look him in the eyes and says cheekily “Kinda romantic, don’t ya think?” He winks. Shota’s stomach does a summersault.

He looks away and shakes his head. “You’re annoying.”

“And you’ve got a stick up your ass.” Oboro retorts easily. “Oh look – he caught the car-jacker!” He points down at the sprawling cityscape at their Pro Hero mentor who’s now handcuffing the criminal to a parking meter. “That was fast.”

Their headset comm units crackle to life and one of the Sidekicks sends the pair a quick message. “Eraser Head and Loud Cloud, please hold your positions. There may be another carjacker in the area. Please await further instructions.”

“Ugh. And here I thought we’d be done for the day.” Shota grumbles, watching as the police cars start to pull up to the crime scene, sirens flashing in the dying daylight.

“Looks like we’re stuck here for a bit!” Oboro says cheerfully, watching the scene below with satisfaction. “No civilian casualties – sweet!”

Shota rolls his eyes. “This was a small time car thief, not some big brawler villain. Of course there weren’t casualties.”

“Wow, Shota. You’re a real stick in the mud today.” Oboro turns to fully look him in the face and takes in the bags under Shota’s eyes. No wonder Aizawa is so grumpy! It’s clear his friend isn’t taking care of himself – Shota looks exhausted and disheveled.

“Sho…when was the last time you got a full night’s sleep?” Oboro asks gently, reaching out to place his hand back on Shota’s wiry shoulder.

“Ugh I don’t know. I’m too busy training.” Shota grumbles. He doesn’t shake off Oboro’s hand this time. Now that Oboro’s mentioned it, a little rest doesn’t sound so bad. He thinks longingly of his room at the agency with its blackout curtains and cozy bed. Maybe a break from training would do him some good, clearly his nerves are on the fritz.

“Buddy, I really think you need to take better care of yourself. How are we going to start the best agency in the city if you’re already worn down at age 18?” Oboro says kindly, kneading Shota’s shoulder softly. Shota avoids Oboro’s gaze – it’s too open, too caring. They’ve been friends for almost three full years and he still hasn’t gotten used to that look.

Oboro’s gaze is impossibly soft as he takes in the rest of Shota’s appearance – his eyes roam over Shota’s shoulder length hair, dark as a midnight sky. His hero costume matches his gloomy attitude – a black jumpsuit with dark combat boots. Oboro and Hizashi have often made fun of Shota’s hero costume for looking too emo. But here, on a rooftop in a crime-ridden city, Oboro has to admit that the outfit is pretty intimidating. The jumpsuit is deceiving – it makes Aizawa look skinny and weak. The way the color contrasts against his sallow skin tone makes him look almost frail. But Oboro knows better – Shota is one of the strongest combat fighters in their class. He doesn’t even need to use his quirk to overpower an opponent hand-to-hand combat – he’s that good. Also, he’s a good 6 feet of pure muscle. Oboro’s snuck enough glances in the locker room to know that underneath that drab outfit, Shota is packing a shit ton of muscle mass. His eyes roam across Shota’s trim waist and he longs to move his hands down to grip his thin hips. But no…that would be weird. Best friends don’t grab each other by the waist.

He brings his stare up to the grey capture weapon is wrapped loosely around Aizawa’s neck. This is a new addition to the costume – Shota has been training with the support item for a good two years now, and has only just begun to master it. This is the first time Oboro has seen him wear it in the field, and he has to admit that it looks pretty cool. Shota is just so fucking cool and beautiful that it hurts Oboro sometimes. It makes his heart squeeze in all the worst ways. He feels his pulse quicken as he thinks through a plan that he’s been working to hatch for months now. A plan that can now unfurl itself since Oboro and Shota are completely alone.

He continues to survey Shota thoughtfully. Shota’s face grows a bit hot under the scrutiny; he’s honestly not sure what’s got Oboro so locked in on his costume. It must be the binding clothes – they are a new addition, after all. It must be something more than that, though. Shota has been trained to understand a shift in body language – something is making Shirakumo nervous.

Oboro gulps down his fear – it’s now or never. “You know what you need, Sho? A pick me up!”

“Coffee would be nice.” Shota says hopefully, his angst melting away a bit at the mention of caffeine.

“No, no, not coffee. Something else.” Oboro says teasingly, but now Shota feels extra annoyed at being denied the simple pleasure of caffeine. “Quick, close your eyes!”

“Ughhhh.” Shota lets out a long noise of aggravation but complies. He lets his eyes flutter closed, assuming Oboro is going to do some of his usually hippy dippy guided meditation shit. Not that he minds – he loves the gentle timber of Oboro’s voice as he talks Shota through a calming meditation. It’s something Oboro does often amongst their friend group. His mom is a yoga instructor, and he channels her energy well. If everyone is grouchy he’ll demand they do a quick reset and take them through a 10 minute gratitude meditation. By the end, they are all usually feeling a bit less on edge. Shota lets his mind clear in preparation for Oboro’s upbeat voice to implore him to set an intention.

But there’s only silence.

Shota stands quietly for a moment, eyes closed. He’s trying to be patient as he humors his friend, but his nerves are already so on edge today that he’s getting a little fidgety. Meanwhile, Oboro is trying to pluck up the nerve to carry out his big, beautiful master plan. He takes a step closer to Shota, sweating.

“…Oboro?” Shota asks aloud, waiting for a response. Nothing. Instead, he hears a shuffling of shoes as Oboro scoots closer and closer to him. He almost jumps out of his skin when he feels his friend’s warm hand cup his cheek. Shota’s eyes fly open and he finds himself nose to nose with Shirakumo, their faces just inches apart.

“I’m gonna show you something better than caffeine, Sho.” Oboro whispers, his voice husky as his eyes dart down to Shota’s lips. Shota’s brain is going absolutely haywire and he breathes in sharply. He can’t seem to comprehend that Oboro is so fucking close and touching his face. His hand is so warm and soft against the rough stubble of Shota’s cheek, and his skin smells like mint and fresh baked bread. It’s intoxicating. Shota feels his body leaning in towards Oboro, wanting more of whatever is happening here. Shota wants to melt into him, wants their bodies to slide together and become inseparable. This is not something that friends usually do, is it? He doesn’t fucking care.

Oboro brushes his thumb across Shota’s lower lip. He smiles as he stares at his friend’s irresistibly perfect cupid bow. He licks his own lips before leaning in and closing the distance between them. Shota’s eyes widen as soft, pillowy lips press against his own. He’s never been kissed before, and so he never knew how wonderful it could feel to have his mouth slide and press against someone else’s lips. He feels like there’s an ocean full of stars in his chest, fizzling and popping and threatening to burst out of the spot where his heart lives.

Oboro deepens the kiss, sliding his hand behind Shota’s head and up into his hair. He pulls his friend closer so that their chests touch. Shota winds shaky arms around his friend’s neck and kisses him back with such ferocity it leaves him breathless. For a moment, he wonders if he’s doing it right. But based on the way that Oboro is enthusiastically kissing him back and pulling at the roots of his hair, he figures he must be doing enough right for now.

When they finally break apart, the first stars of the evening are starting to wink down at them from above in the dark city sky. The final rays of the sun have disappeared behind the skyscrapers and the city streets seem to be quiet in the summer haze.

Shota looks up at his friend, his arms still wrapped around Oboro’s neck. He’s feeling shaky and winded, his heart beating far too fast for his liking. He finds he doesn’t feel much like brooding anymore.

Oboro gazes down at him through heavy lashes, his face plastered with a smile of fondness and warmth that Shota has never quite seen before.

Shirakumo is the first to speak. “Sho…I’ve been wanting to do that, like, forever.” He laughs, a bright sound that hangs in the thick summer air and wraps around Shota like a warm blanket.

“…really?” Shota asks, stunned. He can feel his face is flushed but he doesn’t feel the need to hide it.

“Of course! I’ve been wanting to kiss you for literal months!” Oboro says before freeing a hand so he can point at the alleyways below them. “I even asked the sidekicks if they could leave us up here alone for a while, hoping I could gather up the nerve to finally do it.”

Shota freezes at this and then lets out a long groan of irritation. “Oboro. You’re telling me that you purposefully got us assigned to a fake mission? You knew we weren’t going to do any hero work tonight?”

Oboro raises an eyebrow. “Are you complaining?” He dips down and kisses Shota soundly on the lips, eliciting a surprised groan of satisfaction from his friend. He breaks the kiss with a smack of his lips. “Yeah, I didn’t think so.”

“You’re purposefully inhibiting my education.” Shota says, trying to keep his usual neutral look pasted on his face. He can’t help the way his cheeks are twitching into a grin. “You’re a menace to me, and to society.”

“And don’t you forget it.” Oboro winks and it sends shivers up Shota’s spine.

A sidekick’s voice crackles through their earpieces once again. “Eraser Head and Loud Cloud – we rounded up all the criminals and we’re done for the night. Report back to agency HQ for a debrief. Over and out.”

“Sounds like we need to head out.” Oboro says, with no intention of releasing Shota from his warm embrace.

“Yeah.” Shota says simply, having nothing else important to add. He’s punch drunk on all the kissing and his head is spinning – he can’t make sense of the fact that his best friend might actually like him back.

“Don’t worry.” Oboro says, activating his quirk to summon a large cloud beneath the two of them. “We can take the long way back – I think we have a lot to talk about.”

“Mm.” Shota nods, feeling like an idiot. He’s tongue-tied, not sure how to even begin to start this next conversation. The cloud is cushy and Shota moves apart from Oboro so that it can support his weight. They both get into comfortable sitting positions and Oboro directs the cloud to take them to midtown.

“Or…we can just kiss the whole ride home.” Oboro suggests mischievously, reaching to grab Shota by the binding clothes and pull him roughly back into his arms.

“A better pick me up than caffeine, a hundred times over.” Shota breathes before craning up to meet his friend’s lips.

katsuki likes intertwining your fingers. at the start of your relationship, he was hesitant to do so, afraid he could accidentally hurt you with his quirk or scare you off with how hot and rough they are (not that he ever told you as much). so when you slowly warmed him up to the idea, he held your hand very carefully at first.

by now, however, his grip on you is firm and self-assured, pulling you closer to him in crowded areas or just enjoying the feel of your hand in his calloused one. the pro hero has also resigned himself to being your own personal hand warmer in the winter, cupping your freezing fingers between his palms with only minimal complaining.

keigo likes playing with your hands. whether you’re watching a movie on a rare night in or you’re in a restaurant with your hands resting on the table, chances are keigo is reaching over to cradle your hand in his, a boyish grin on his handsome face.

sometimes it’s really just him fiddling with your fingers to keep his own busy. but in instances where it’s just the two of you, he’s tracing his thumb along the length of your fingers and mapping the lines on your palms, culminating in the featherlight kisses he flutters against your knuckles and wrist.

shouto likes linking your pinkies. sure, he’s much more confident in your relationship than at the beginning, where he’d basically wait for you to initiate affection for him to know this was okay. back then, it was his way of asking for affection in whatever way you would see fit to show him at the moment.

but even after learning more about both you and himself, as well as the social norms around dating, he has taken a liking to the gesture. it is sweet and low-key enough to not draw much attention if you’re out and about, but still a good way to ground himself and make sure you’re still there with him.

izuku likes it when you play with his hands. even as an adult he still has the habit of losing himself in his rambled tangents at times and taking his hand in yours is an effective way of snapping him out of it.

the gentle way with which you hold him, like he was a delicate thing, lifts the responsibilities of always putting other’s well-being before his own right off his shoulders. deku is too flustered to ever say it out loud but, when you lovingly trace and kiss the scars on his hands instead of looking at them as if they’re a flaw, his ears and cheeks feel like they’ve been set ablaze.

For that casual yet sensuous feel it has. He loves creeping up from behind you without you noticing, to startle you with a kiss. And when he kisses your neck, he’ll alternate between looking at you and the floor, fidgeting with your clothes and hair. Sometimes it can last five whole minutes before he moves on, sometimes he just greets you in a flash while he goes from one location to another.

That boy loves you so much he gets that aggressive pulsion when he sees you because of how cute you are. So whenever you kiss –whether it’s lips collarbone or ear– he’ll add in some teeth in the mix. ♡ ୭̥ ° bakugo katsuki

this boy is known for showing his hate for sweet things, yet no one – not even him – is able to comprehend why you're the exception.

since the first day of school he can tell you're going to be more annoying than all the other extras. randomly humming and singing, using smooth arm movements as if you came from a fairytale.

you look harmless, a stupid pushover. his only comfort is that you won't get in his way.

or that's what he thinks.

because with time, he starts seeing more of you. his gaze starts to linger whenever you're around, putting careful attention to your actions, your expressions. wide eyes and radiant smile, always trying to spread kindness and love, so genuine; you're like an open book.

katsuki's rough, katsuki's loud, katsuki's explosive.

so imagine his surprise when he realizes with time that the sight of you makes his eyes soften, his chest warm, his guard drop.

he wants to deny it, he wants to deny it very strongly. however, everyone can tell how, little by little, he starts to open up to you.

he lets you be closer, so vivid around him. you can do things that others would get yelled at for trying. when did anyone see somebody getting into bakugou's personal space – whether it is laying on his shoulder or playing with his hair – and leave unharmed? when did anyone see somebody using his stuff and not recieving any kind of ill treatment for doing so?

the two of you start spending time together, much to his dismay because of your classmates' teasing. yet it takes you being in danger during a villain attack for katsuki to realize how deep his feelings are.

oh, no– he's falling in love.

and he goes livid. he might seem like someone who already acts recklessly during combat but that's not the truth at all. the want, the need to take you into his arms and protect you is what leads him to take such impulsive decisions.

don't get him wrong, he knows you can defend yourself; you're just as much of a badass as you are of an optimist, after all.

but it's this side you bring out of him. this soft, tender side.

it drives him crazy.

so, once the horror passes and your class settles into its usual endeavors, he does what he knows best: he tries to push you. he tries to make you leave, to scare you off.

but why aren't you running away?

why are you cradling his face with a gentle, loving touch?

one thing leads to the other and your lips meet in a true love's kiss, as you would say.

after that, katsuki resigns to listening to your rambling about animals and love and flowers–

he's there to give you a reality check when it's needed, anyway.

yeah, he wouldn't have it any other way.

bonus: you're literally a grumpy x sunshine pairing !! it's hilarious to see you two in the common room because katsuki seems to hold back in showing physical affection or any state of flusteredness. you learned not to demand it from him, either, because he always gets red and would hate for anyone else other than you to see it. it's alright, though, because as soon as you're alone he turns into a clingy puppy. good luck trying to get rid of him to do something just as brief as going to the bathroom !!

shouto's life has never been any sort of fairytale. all that love chitchat... yeah, pretty much false.

but then he meets you, and you're so eager to show him.

so you start sticking to him, following him around. it could look like pestering for some people, but to shouto?

oh, shouto's charmed by you.

it takes him some time. before the sports festival, he couldn't help but give you cold stares and dry replies. of course, your enthusiastic self would take all of that without complaining.

but it is after the event that he starts to open his eyes and contemplate a little more of you. especially after you compliment his quirk and express how happy you are for him, for truly giving his all during the fights and making use of his fire.

another element, you said, that was part of him and needed to be seen. you mentioned how you believed in him, warm smile painted on your lips as you beamed with joy.

there was no way he would get his eyes off of you after that.

although shouto is quiet, his gaze is intense. thankfully you're unaware of such things – trained to being accostumed to stares by your whole life experience – so you can't tell how the next days he's so entranced by you and the way you carry yourself so gracefully.

you see beauty everywhere, often even stopping in your tracks to observe your surroundings. you seem to shine, delighted.

too occupied by twirling around and interacting with everyone around you, you fail to notice how he's softly smiling at the sight.

as time passes, your conversations stop being one-sided. his replies show more interest, it's not only about his gaze anymore but also about the way he accepts all your affections; melting into your touch.

the way he's always there to protect you when villain attacks happen, when anyone looks at you the wrong way or tries to talk to you in as much as a slightly rude tone. the way he comforts you whenever you're sensitive about something, never questioning where did it come from.

you're his top priority.

so when you share a first kiss, he feels his heart pumping so hard it could jump right off his chest. this unknown feeling, leading him to be so attached to you, was love all this time.

you were right about showing him, he figures.

because now holding your hand gives him so much happiness that he now kind of gets why you're so enthusiastic about said concept.

when you go on one of your rambles about it and ask him, "right?" he smiles at you and responds:

"yes, my love, i think i know now"

you smile at him, so widely as you always do, and he leans in to leave a kiss on your forehead.

bonus: when he tells you his family story for the first time, you cry. you cry so much until you feel his strong arms wrap around you. yet shouto, despite trying to comfort you since you were the one crying, feels as if your embrace comforts him. you hug him by the waist, rubbing his back so gently and carefully that it brings tears to his eyes. everyday he feels more enamoured by you.

♡ ୭̥ ° midoriya izuku

you meet for the first time with izuku because of bumping into him during the quirk's test on the first day of class. he falls and you crouch along with him, soft-spokenly apologizing and asking if he's alright.

as he looks up at you, the boy can only think of how you look exactly like an angel.

you best believe our baby broccoli blushes furiously to his ears.

it doesn't take you anything to become friends and when you do he realizes that, despite both of you being pretty positive people, you have very different ways of thinking.

everything to you is magical, wonderful, exciting. izuku learned this from only the first few days of knowing you, and he found it really beautiful and encouraging. it was something to admire you for, and it never failed to impress him the way you would always be open to new opportunities, grateful for every single one you were given.

similarly, nothing to you was ever a problem! so when izuku rambled about his past, his difficulties with his quirk and worries you always found a way to make his point of view shift 180° and move on to positive thoughts.

in a world where he's exposed to so much pressure, you act as a beacon of life that peaks through the darkness.

and so, you're with him every step of the way.

he doesn't even know when his love for you starts blooming, especially since he has such a focus on heroics that doesn't usually let him think about anything else. but when he finds himself dreaming about your bright smile, mumbling as he watches you from afar sing to happy little animals you encountered, blushing to the tips of his ears by only hearing you say his name with so much care and glee–

he realizes too late he's down bad. in fact, he's the last one to realize, since the whole class watches in horror as you two interact so lovingly with each other as almost second nature.

mina has the theory that the two of you are secretly together, but it is obvious for everyone that if you two really were, you would be shouting it to the four winds. that's just who you are, and that's just how they know izuku loves you.

of course, you're the first one to make a move.

you go up to him before class one random morning and ask him if he would like to go out on friday afternoon. he accepts at first, smiling widely at you and you respond with a bubbly "alright then! it's a date!"

his face seemed to turn all shades of red and even go through some other colors before digesting that information.

"a-a d-date with me...?" he lifts a finger, you hum in amusement.

"of course, silly. i'd want no other prince for me but you."

needless to say, it goes amazingly and now the class has to deal with you giving him little pecks on his lips, cheeks and hands as he turns red because of the sudden affection.

bonus: in his notebook page about your quirk he has written a whole analysis of how you and your voice are appealing to animals and what does that have to do with it. he even tried talking about it to you, but your reply was: "i'm not quite sure, but i can only be grateful about them! they are my friends and i'm truly fortunate for their company!"

how i think they like to wear their uniforms (looking at bakugo, UA seems pretty liberal about it so i get to have fun lol). obviously what they wear depends mostly on the weather but these are meant to be like,, their favorite combinations?

i really like the "long sleeve shirt with no blazer" look. kind of a shame no one in bnha seems to wear their uniform like this

i like Reiko's canon costume a lot, i just decided to give her fingerless gloves and make her kimono long and tattered for the spooky vibes. i used to also draw it with a reversed (right over left) collar bc that's how they dress dead people and Reiko's meant to have this ghost aesthetic but decided against it this time because maybe it's more culturally inappropriate than i think?? idk its not that big of a visual change so i'd rather play it safe

Setsuna is wearing my own costume design that i explained fully in an older post. i still like it, i just gave her spike bands on her legs instead of the same thing she wears on her forearms bc i decided i dont vibe with the total limb symmetry anymore lol

i spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to think up a redesign for Kendo only to settle for her canon costume with extra bandages/cloth wraps (theyre cool) and ordinary combat boots instead of the ones she wears in canon (i just don't vibe with them). i guess sometimes less is more or whatever

Yui's costume also takes a lot from doodlegraveyard's design, i just decided to try blue as her accessory color to distinguish her color palette from my Momo design

Kinoko's canon costume is just *chefs kiss* so the only thing i changed was the color of her shoes. her sleeves are short here bc i thought it could look cute for a summer version of her costume, the winter version keeps the long fluffy sleeves. her spray guns were pissing me off so i decided not to draw them but trust me they're here in spirit

Kissing headcanons for the BNHA boys (Pt.1)

Izuku:

Kisses with Izuku are gentle, soft, and timid  

He’s a bit hesitant when he initiates, and he does it while sporting a massive blush nearly every single time  

He likes to squeeze your hand while he kisses you. It grounds him and makes the whole act feel that much more intimate  

As much as he adores kissing you on the lips, he really likes cheek kisses and little pecks on the forehead too  

He does get a bit embarrassed when it comes to PDA, but he loves you, and it makes him happy knowing that someone will openly express their affection for him. Still, try not to push him too hard in public, because there's a good chance he will faint

Katsuki:

The first kiss you ever shared was quite soft and tentative, but that was mostly because your relationship was in its early stages, and you were both testing the waters 

Once you and Katsuki are going strong, he won’t hold back when it comes to kissing you, and you can expect to have him pull you into his arms and slam his lips against yours seemingly without warning 

Unlike Izuku, he could care less about PDA. In fact, he loves having the chance to show you off in front of everyone. He’ll smother you with kisses no matter who’s watching, and if he’s feeling particularly cocky, he’ll make sure to grin smugly after the fact 

Katsuki isn’t very good with using his words to show that he cares, so physical intimacy is how he makes up for it 

He prefers to kiss you on the lips, passionately, but when he’s in an especially intimate mood, he’ll hold you close and kiss the back of your hand, while blushing and telling you how much he loves you (in a quiet voice, because he’s embarrassed)  

Shouto:

Kisses with Shouto are almost never quick. Kissing you is a thoughtful, deliberate act, and he likes to take his time and let his lips linger against yours 

He’ll cradle your cheek with his hand, make a big show of staring warmly into your eyes, then bring his lips to yours and meet you in a deep, slow kiss 

Because of his upbringing, he worries that he doesn’t possess the capacity to express how much he loves his significant other, but at his core, Shouto is a kind, compassionate person. He cherishes you, and you know that the way he kisses you is yet another way for him to show it 

He doesn’t mind PDA at all. It takes a lot to be able to embarrass him, mostly since he can be a bit innocent and naïve at times. He will gladly kiss you in front of other people, but that being said, he still has some self-awareness and won’t just start a full-blown make-out session and risk making other people uncomfortable (unlike Katsuki, who definitely will) 

Shouto likes kissing you on the lips the most, but he finds that squeezing you and gently kissing your eyelids when they’re shut is a rather intimate act. He also enjoys having the same done to him, while he’s resting his head on your shoulder or your lap

But once you get to the photo shoot and start recognizing the props of a certain hero decorating the stage, you get queasy with unease upon understanding exactly which pro hero you’re going to be shooting with. 

Swallowing thickly, you bar yourself in your dressing room for a minute. Your handler already shouting at your ear enough to make you wince with tears at the ready as you try to explain the sticky situation to her. Naturally, your cries fall upon deaf ears, and soon enough, you’re convinced you’re being silly. This is a huge opportunity, after all. Dynamight is on par with Deku, having shared the title of the number one hero ever since they graduated. It would be career suicide to decline a collab with him, especially now that you’re already under contract with his agency.

You splash your face with cold water to calm the swelling left by your tears and get dressed in the silky white summer dress provided to you. It’s a pretty article, you think without being overly happy about it. It’s a thin, nearly see-through, backless model with a rather deep dip reaching down between your breasts. And though it isn’t at all the first time you flaunt your body in a nearly nude state in front of the world, it certainly is the first time you do so in front of the guy who used to pick your appearance apart until you cried. You only hope he doesn’t recognize you and that the shoot will be over before he eventually can.

You’re glad your handler does what her job suggests and handles all handshakes and greetings on your behalf. But though all the formalities of the work fall upon her shoulders, the part of the actual modeling is something only you can do.

You’re able to remain professional for the most part, barely ever glancing in his direction, though picking up on his mass from the corner of your eye and through the veil of fake lashes where you keep your eyes glued to the floor as the photographer gives instructions for the new pose. But then comes the direction you were dreading, the one which has the two of you touching. And even though you knew it was inevitable, you still flinch when he puts his hands on you.

And though the assistants, handlers, managers, and photographers are all oblivious to your discomfort, he notices, smiling at your tiny shivers and how well you hide them.

He’s so much bigger than you remember, you think while you try steadying your breath and convincing yourself that it isn’t any different from all those other times you’ve gone out of your comfort zone for the sake of a good deal. The shoot you did for Playboy Magazine had practically been a porno, and that time you’d been surrounded by a great deal of big beefy men, much similar to the one touching you now. 

Still tough... you had a laugh that time around. You had fun.

This wasn’t fun.

“Funny this.” He spoke, and you feared he was speaking to none other than you.

Holding you in a scoop of a bridal carry, you felt the harsh metal of his costume dig into your skin, not more than the grip of his hands clawing at your flesh like a predator sinking its teeth into caught prey. The grime on his fingers dirtying the white of your dress.

“Or… ironic is a better word for it.” He adds, and you finally look up into that face that still sometimes haunts you in your dreams despite having been out of your life for years. “Oh- don’t say you don’t remember me, Quirkless?”

After the shoot, the photographer praises you on your ability to portray true distress, unbeknownst that the sentiments in your expressions were genuine, and you almost trip over the stage props while thanking him, wanting to leave the set as quickly as possible in favor of going home.

But obviously, shooting a campaign poster isn’t why you’re there.

“Have dinner with me.” He says, with his hand, seemingly made to break bones, wrapped tight around your twiggy wrist. Stopping you from running away.

And just as expected, your handler accepts before you can make the costly mistake of refusing.

- basically its a way to measure rice perfectly. he sees you doing it and thinks ur absolutely insane for just sticking ur finger inside the rice pot, absolutely LASER focused, but after you explain he does it too

What are your fav personal headcanons about Midoriya and Bakugou? Also, do you have any fav ships (from any fandom) that the dynamics remind you of BakuDeku? Thanks if you want to answer....

I honestly don’t have that many so I’ll just explain the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I have one that I use in fics a lot actually, and it’s that they kiss each others wounds to make them feel better. It’s a habit they picked up as kids that they learned from their parents doing it to them on any cut and bruise that they would get while at the park or something. Even though it’s something they did as kids, it’s something they picked up again post Katsuki’s character development and they just do it without thinking and it shocks their class every time. They don’t see anything wrong with it, they genuinely just still believe the superstition and think it’s actually helping the other with their pain… cuz they’re just kinda dumb like that.

Another one I have, I think Izuku has a weird thing with Katsuki’s hair touching him. It looks like it’d be really soft and wispy, so any time it grazes him, he freaks out internally because 1) it tickles, and 2) it means Katsuki’s face is too close to him. It’s so specific but I love it and it’s something I’ve been using in more recent fics.

This is a common one, but I think Katsuki would like to count Izuku’s freckles to fall asleep, and any time Izuku gets a new scar, he re counts to see what the new number is. It’s something that started with just his face, but as they grew older and got closer, he counts all the ones he’s allowed to see and Izuku just lets him.

Oh and to add on to the previous one, I think Izuku has a lot of freckles, not just 8. They’re plastered all over his face, shoulders, hands, legs, anywhere the sun has touched his skin.

This one’s more for adult bkdk, but I’d like to think that Katsuki probably meal preps for Izuku, because he knows that Izuku would probably be living off cup ramen and monster energy drinks otherwise. He’ll cook big meals and then packs and freeze half of each for Izuku and just breaks into his apartment during school hours to put them in his freezer with labels on each one and just repeats the cycle every week. At first Izuku thought he had a stalker for the first few weeks (he still ate them though because he can’t cook) until Katsuki asks him if he’s allergic to peanuts or something because they’re in something he’s cooking for him.

Another adult bkdk one, I think Izuku probably uses Katsuki as an example in his classroom a lot, to the point that his students just assume he’s either a freak super fan or he’s just in love with the guy. He’ll be mentioned in their written tests, be used for diagrams, actually be present some days to demonstrate something that anyone with a quirk could’ve demonstrated.

This is the last one I can think of, but I feel like Katsuki would put in a bunch of safety features into Izuku’s suit. If he’s too injured, it’ll take Izuku to the nearest Urgent Care against his will. If there’s a fire, fire hydrant just spews out of every nook and cranny to ensure that the fire at least stays away from Izuku. There’s probably a Jarvis like voice activated system in it too, but it’s just Hatsume rambling about the features and Katsuki yelling at him when the suits too damaged or when it detects too many injuries. Literally any danger you can think of, Katsuki thought of it and put something in the suit that would prevent that danger.

And as far as ships that remind me of them, honestly every ship reminds me of them in some way because they follow so many tropes. But the ones that remind me the most of them, would probably be SpideyPool and AppleDash. Something something, clashing personalities and mutual competitiveness causing a homoerotic rivalry… or something…

If we’re talking about bnha ships though, KiriMina, TogaChako, and MiriTama are all just bkdk in different fonts in my eyes, and I adore all of them.

BNHA Headcanons: What kind of person they would fall in to and how they'd fall in love.

Bakugo Katsuki

• We all know how aggressive this boy is. But Bakugo's aggressiveness is only because he wants everyone around him to give the same efforts he gives toward everything.

• IMO, Katsuki would fall in love to someone as passionate as him. You don't have to be in a hero course, once this man meets a girl who's as passionate as him, he'll be interested.

• He'll be interested to someone passionate in everything she does but this man will fall so deeply when a girl shuts him down and calls him out for his jerky behavior.

• In conclusion, this guy would fall in love to someone who can call him out the way his Mom does. You could be as aggressive as him when you call him out or you could be so gentle that he'll find himself zip his own mouth once you scold him.

• It's something not everyone has the guts to do. Some just knew him for too long that they don't make any efforts to call him out because that's just Bakugo Katsuki to them.

• He will be annoyed at you at first, thinking that you don't have the rights to call out his behavior but as time passes by, you calling him out will be the part he always look forward to everyday.

• He will be in denial. He'll think it's just a phase, that it'll pass, that he's just amused of you and your antics but once he saw somebody else tried to make a move on you? Boy he'll risk everything.

• He won't drop the rough persona even when he acknowledges his feelings. Instead, he'll win you with his sincerity: when you're obviously having a bad day, he'll silently hand you a chocolate that you love. When he noticed you haven't eaten lunch, he'll have some delivered, and sometimes he packs up a lunch for you, would give it to you with a post it note pasted onto it with a note "Eat it."

• Of course, you'll confront him about the little things that he does once it starts making your heart flutter, you're scared to get used to it, scared that you'll fall for him and he won't be there to catch you.

• Once you confront him about it, he'll have troubles whether he'll kiss you or knock you lightly in the head. He's doing it because he likes you! Why can't you take the hint?

• He was preparing a confession for you but he'll just end up blurting out that he likes you coz you'll keep on saying that you don't know his agenda why he keeps on doing the things that he does.

You'll freeze right then and there. Girl, you'll be staring at those ruby eyes with your knees shaking because of the sudden confession. "What?" It was all you could say. You couldn't believe what you just heard. Like you think that there's no way that this man just confessed his feelings for you.

Katsuki will be so frustrated. Sure, people will think he's unlikely to fall in love but he did fall in love and he didn't like that you're not acknowledging it.

"Look, I'm new to this as well. But I'm serious, I like you and if we're on the same boat. We could just try and see where this will lead us."

You like him as well. You hated him at first but you get to know the man underneath his rough and explosive persona. You've seen him risk his own life for others, the way a pained look will paint all over his face when he overhears people not liking him much.

There's a heart hidden underneath those layers of tough guy act and you fell in love with him because of that.

"What now? I said I like you. If you don't like me I won't bother you aga—"

"No! I like you too..." Your voice slowly quiet down, being a little shy to confess your own feelings and a smile made its way across Katsuki's lips.

Even though he was hesistant he slowly reached out to you and pull you gently against his chest. "I won't mind if you'll want to take it slow..." He whispered and you wrapped your arms around him with a smile as you bury your face in his chest to hide your red cheeks.

First Snow (BNHA)

Pairing: Various pro heroes x GN!reader

A/N: Yesterday was the first snow for me, so I wanted to do some romance headcanons! And since I haven’t done BNHA, I decided this was the perfect time!

I’m also gonna try a new format where I just write little blurbs instead of using bullet points!

Characters: Endeavor, All Might, Hawks, Mirko, Fat Gum, Aizawa, Present Mic

Endeavor:

He’s not the type to care about things like the first snow. He doesn’t romanticize small moments in life, and that includes the first snow of winter. You’re in his office looking out the large windows as the snow falls. He glances over from his desk and sees your attention focused on seemingly nothing. Enji would then walk over to see what you’re looking at.

“What is it?”

“Snow.” Your eyes are sparkling.

He’s never seen someone so enamored with it before. But it’s…surprisingly endearing. He’ll wrap his arm around you, a rare show of affection.

“It’s beautiful.”

All Might:

I think he would be shy about loving the first snow. He doesn’t want to show his excitement or the warm feeling that spreads through him when he realizes that it’s snowing. But you notice. 

“Yagi, it’s snowing!”

“I see that, my dear.”

“Come on!!”

Hawks:

Totally uses the romantic connotations to bring the charisma. You two are out on a date. The third date. The butterflies of a new relationship are fresh in your stomach and causing quite the commotion. After going to a cafe, you now roam the streets for something else to do. You feel something wet on your nose. Then the wind picks up. A blizzard.

“Woah, there.”

Hawks uses his wings to shield you from the sudden onslaught of snow. You’re pressed between his wings and chest. You look up and he stares down at you. 

“Are you cold?” He whispers.

You nod slightly. “A little.”

“Let me help.”

He leans in and kisses you gently. It’s warm and tastes of hot chocolate. You want to pull him closer and melt into his warmth. He pulls away and smiles.

Mirko:

She’s sooo excited! It snowed over night, and the ground is covered in a thick layer of soft powdery snow. It’s practically blinding, with how glittery and white it is. Mirko is bouncing around, leaving footprints (paw prints??) all over. You watch with love in your eyes. It’s always so comforting to see your love happy.

Until you get hit in the chest. By a snowball. That she threw. Your eyes narrow as she stands there, snickering with a devilish smirk.

“Are you challenging me, Mirko?”

“Are you going to accept?”

Fat Gum:

Winter!! His favorite time of year. I think this is the season he feels most helpful to people. You watch as he gives a kid a hug, the kid sinking into your boyfriend. You giggle as Fatgum digs him out and gives him a pat on the head.

“Make sure to dress warmer next time, ok?”

“Yes sir!”

The kid bounds off. Fatgum pulls you to his side and kisses the top of your head. You look up at him with a pout.

“What is it, dumpling?”

“I’m a little jealous.” You poke his side. “Everyone gets to hug you.”

He raises an eyebrow. “Well…you get parts of me no one else does. And we get to do things no one else can do with me.”

“Like?”

He pulls you in for a kiss. You were just playing, but it’s nice to feel reassured that he still loves you. Sometimes dating a pro hero can be hard. When he pulls away, the two of you notice it’s snowing.

“Look! No one else can kiss me under the first snow!”

“Alright, alright. Let’s go warm up with some food.”

Aizawa:

Hates the cold. Hates it! He doesn’t go out in the first place, but now he wants to go out even less. The two of you are sitting on the couch, his head in your lap as you idly brush your fingers through his hair. The two of you often spent your time like this. Silence, comfort from each other’s presence. It was much needed for the stressful lives you both lived.

“Cold.” He murmured and lifted his head. 

You shifted and wrapped your arms around him. “Better?”

He let out a sigh. “Yeah.” There was a small pause before he spoke again. “It’s snowing.”

You look outside. “Huh. It is.”

Present Mic:

God, this goof. He makes a big deal out of everything. It’s cute, in all honesty. 

“And today I am joined by my lovely partner! Say hi!”

“Hello listeners!!”

“Aren’t they the cutest?”

It wasn’t often you were on his radio show. You preferred listening to it (and most of the time you weren’t awake). However, he had invited you to be a special co host just for today.  “My love! Do you know why I called you here today?”

“I do not.”

“Listeners, if you look outside you’ll see that it’s snowing. The first snow of winter!”

You smile. You still didn’t understand, but it was endearing seeing him work.

He continued talking into the mic. “First snow can signify a lot of things. For me, it signifies my first love and how precious they are to me. Every moment, every word, everything about them is important. So, I want you to tell the person who you love how much they mean to you. And here’s our first song of the night…”

The song started playing as you stared at your partner with tears in your eyes. He muted his mic and gave you a goofy smile. 

“Did you like it?”

You push his shoulder. “Hizashi, you big goof! You could’ve told me to just tune in!”

“But I wanted to see your reaction in real time!”

“I love you, idiot.”

“I love you too.”
