it had been days since he saw elliot last ( or so he assumed ), maybe longer he couldn’t be sure. and during their last meeting things had definitely went down. not in a bad way though, but he was practically saying goodbye to the half-wolf. preparing to never see him again, or not for a very long time. though when he was out running an errand for kohl, he could have swore he saw the other male. levi looked down at the folded piece of paper in his hand he was told to hand the merchant at one of the vendors in the town square, he clenched it and moved through the people before finally reaching the cloaked individual and reaching out for his shoulder. “elliot?” he was still here. “i thought you said you were leaving?” it had definitely been longer than a week.

“oh, the pup’s still awake. good.” ethan comment’s as he strolls on into august’s home, drenched in the blood of at least a dozen people. he didn’t care for elliot much - but he was the only one around, so he’d have to do, and he wasn’t trying to bicker with the wolf right now. it was the last thing on his mind anymore - in fact, he didn’t even think about how bothered he was about being replaced anymore. it was what it was. “you mind helping me clean up?” he slicks his fingers back through his curls. “draw me a bath, would you? pretty please?”

“i don’t have any clue where i’m at,” luka spoke to himself softly, hugging his arms to himself as he walked through the wilderness along a worn through path he had found. assuming that if he followed it, it would lead him somewhere. the elite told him to make his way back to the tower, but how was he supposed to know where the hell it was? especially since he’d been blindfolded on the way to the man’s home. either he was going to die out here, or someone else would find him and he’d get accused of running and punished when he got brought back to the tower. luka heard a soft noise however, and soon was kneeling down next to an injured rabbit, frowning gently. “what happened?” he whispered, reaching out to gently stroke it. it looked like it’s front paw was injured. “i’ll try to help, my hands are hurt too - doesn’t feel good.” he whispered before he heard a snap of a twig rather closely and his head whirled around to look. “who’s there?” luka asked, swallowing.

“you’re on what? six or five days left in the city?” it was hard for levi to leave the bitterness out of his tone, hell, it was hard for him not to get upset over the fact that he knew elliot was leaving him. but of course, here the half-wolf was. he obviously had been reclaimed considering he was free from the tower. levi was free too, but he wasn’t allowed to go far from wherever they were staying. kohl made sure of that. “i know it’s your job, it’s like before, but august wants you to have nothing to do with me. i wouldn’t be surprised if he makes sure you never come around here again.” levi was paranoid, but was he really? august clearly disliked him, his own master disliked him - did anyone fucking like him? he clenched his hands into tight fists, knuckles going white. “i just got you back, elliot.” he says softer, voice tense as if he was fighting back emotion.
