Glitched Gregory and TPIOFY Gregory Interactions:
Scene where both Gregory’s decide to try out the “Sundrops” after rummaging through a bunch of piñatas they found, both just looking at each other and going “eh. What the heck”. Cut to them in the daycare, one of the Gregory’s foaming at the mouth and standing on top of the play structures making incoherent growling noises. Another Gregory is having zoomies around the entire daycare at 30 miles an hour.
Another scene, probably taking place after this one, of just the Gregory’s snoozing, leaning on one another, their mouths stained with candy. The Freddy’s come in and put a blanket over them and saying goodnight.
The Gregory’s somehow making their way to that ride above Gator golf and just riding it back and forth in the background while a conversation is happening.
Monty eventually jumps on the ride a couple cars behind them, and it becomes this chase sequence, with both Gregorys laughing and shrieking as Monty jumps from one car to the next to get to them, laughing as well. He’s about to jump to the final car when he’s suddenly pelted with a turret ball, and the Gregorys turn to see Moon by one of the turrets mockingly wave. On either side of them are Roxy and Chica all at different turrets and it becomes a game of “dodge the flying balls” as the Gregorys and Monty both have to duck for cover as a million colorful turret balls start flying up at them at once.
A running gag that whenever the crew needs something, Glitched Gregory happens to have stored it in Freddy’s chest compartment, kind of implying that it’s an infinite hammer space. Glitched Gregory: “Oh yeah! I happen to have that!!” *pulls out crowbar from Freddy’s chest* Glitched Freddy, looking equally shocked as everyone else: “Gregory, when did you store that??”
Both Gregory's wear different themed sweaters, the ones you can find around the Pizzaplex just so they can tell each other apart for a bit. They probably just pull it from Glitched Freddy’s chest compartment. There is a list of all the collectibles in Security Breach here that explains what I’m imagining: https://triple-a-fazbear.fandom.com/wiki/Collectibles
Honest question, if your Gregory had to wear one of those sweaters, which would he chose? I’m just imagining both Gregorys in the different orange and blue Freddy Sweaters and Vanessa with the pink one on, the Freddys tearing up and holding up their cameras. But I can totally see either Gregory wearing the Pizzaplex Sweater or the “4-Block" Sweater.
The Gregory’s start hanging out in Kids Cove, as that’s close by the Daycare and one of the few safe areas without staff bots, and they hang out in that little TV area in the pirate ship. It’s their base of operations and the place they can go to for some privacy and to hang out. No robots or security guards allowed! (Except maybe Freddy) The Gregorys watching TV:
“Damn, this TV show's OLD.” “I still don’t get why they would want to befriend that fox guy” “I mean, he seems pretty cool. Not as cool as Bonnie but still pretty cool” “Yeah, Bonnie’s the cool one of the group.” Monty popping in: “Hey little guys, Freddy wanted me to tell you-“ “MONTY, YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED HERE!! GET OUT!!” “YEAH!! NO CROCODILES ALLOWED!!”
Monty, immediately irritated: “I AIN’T NO DAD-GUM CROC!! I'M AN ALLIGATOR!!”
“Well, no alligators allowed either then!" Moon, popping in as well: “Ha! Well, you heard the boys, Monty!” “And no celestial daycare attendants either! That means you, Moon!” “That also includes you too, Sun, I know you’re listening!”
Glitched Gregory has a huge hoard of stuff from all the collectibles he gathered from around the Pizzaplex, and TPIOFY Gregory likes to go through them as he’s never really had time to look over that stuff. Every now and again, though they would NEVER admit it, they would start playing with the toys inside the Pirate ship. Start giving the toys little voices and start literally playing pretend (I know they’re a bit older but let me HAVE this). The pretend would mostly be just doing impressions of the animatronics, but its still playing!! Only Glitched Freddy and Roxy can see it, because of their eyes, but every now and again the Gregorys are so focused on themselves that they wouldn’t notice TPIOFY Freddy listening in a little bit ;)
Whenever Glitched Freddy gets too stressed, he starts going Quantum, so whenever he gets stressed, its shown when he visably glitches in and out of reality for a moment. So while he’s mostly chill, his stress is shown whenever he randomly glitches to the other side of the room and then back again. TPIOFY Freddy is VERY disturbed by this.
The Freddy’s get taken to Roxy’s Beauty Saloon by Roxy and Chica, saying that they’ll get wrinkles from all that stress (“We can’t get wrinkles-“ “Zip it, Freddy.”) and the Freddy’s get a well deserved spa day, leaving Moon and Monty in charge (don’t ask me how they thought it was a good idea.) It then plays out like “Honey I shrunk the kids” or “Parental Guidance” where Moon and Monty argue and then IMMEDIATELY lose the Gregory’s, panicking because “oh god thel Freddy's are going to use SUCH a disappointing tone-“ and they have to frantically search for the Gregory’s before the Freddy’s get back, like a typical family comedy.
The voice in TPIOFY Gregory’s head starts acting up again, and Glitched Gregory can hear it as well (don’t ask me how) and tells the voice to fuck off. Voice: ‘You’re wasting my time and energy…’ TPIOFY Gregory: “That’s what she said” *TPIOFY Gregory holds out his hand and Glitched Gregory high fives him* Voice, visibly agitated: ‘Oh, where’d you learn that burn? So origina-‘ Glitched Gregory, interrupting: “He learnt it at your moms house.” TPIOFY Gregory: “She has lots of energy.” *Gregorys high five again* Vanessa, who just watched Gregory diss himself again and this other Gregory helping:
The Gregory's frequently steal Monty’s sunglasses and Moons hat and wear them around to annoy them. They call Moon bald.
Glitched Gregory does have to sleep now and again as his state of being does not revert back unless he’s killed, so that means he does get tired and hungry, and I think to think that during these loops where Glitched Gregory has to sleep, TPIOFY Gregory sleeps as well just cause he doesn’t wanna wait for his friend to wake up, so he just takes that loop to rest (I know this is ofc but this boy needs to REST dammit!) (the voice isn’t there to nag him and influence him because it became quieter when the Glitched universe crossed over, probably due to whatever was making that world so glitched effecting the voice as well. Whenever it DOES come back, Glitched Gregory just immediately shuts it down. Because reasons. Because I want TPIOFY Gregory to just have a bit of fun and make some DAMN friends his age without having to WORRY all the time)
The Gregory’s sneak into the arcade to play some games, just deciding to not wake the DJ up, as there was no reason to. They play games for a while, both of them being pro gamers obviously (though TPIOFY Gregory keeps saying Glitched Gregory is using cheats, which he probably is) but they suddenly feel a presence behind them and turn to realize the DJ as been watching them play games for a while. The Gregory’s freak out. And run for the hills as the DJ tries to catch both kids, a remixed version of his boss battle playing. Its basically just an episode of Tom and Jerry. Think of any episode of Tom and Jerry and insert the Gregory’s and Music Man.
Glitched Freddy has THE worse sense of humor. Worse then Sun. He calls himself “gregnant” when Gregory’s in his stomach hatch. He IS the among us Freddy meme. Glitched Freddy: “You know Gregory, I don’t trust stairs…” TPIOFY Gregory, confused: “Wait what?” Glitched Freddy, barely holding back laughter: “Yeah.. their always up to somethinG- PFFT!!” And then he proceeds to laugh at his own joke. He and your Sun would get along. Sun makes a joke and your Freddy sighs slightly while my Freddy is holding his stomach laughing. Like that scene where Sun is telling jokes to a disgruntled Freddy, Vanessa and Gregory? Glitched Freddy would be there full on belly laughing at they’re jokes.
Go-Karting!!!!!!!!
The Gregorys find a bunch of ready-to-use, animatronic-themed go karts set up near the Raceway, looking like they could be driven around the Pizzaplex.
Both Gregory’s eye the Freddy themed one and immediately scramble to grab it, pulling on each others shirts and grabbing the other’s arm to slow the other down.
TPIOFY Gregory is able to get Glitched Gregory to get his foot stuck in the floor (being glitched and all) and claims the kart, much to Glitched Gregorys dismay.
He huffs, and HE GUESSES he can ride the Sun one… they're the only one Glitched Gregory TOLERATES besides Freddy.
The Gregorys SPEED out of the Raceway and into the atrium, zooming past the group and TPIOFY Gregory cackles and drives straight through the group, who have to clamour out of the way to dodge them (He wasn’t ACTUALLY going to hit them… probably). Glitched Gregory absolutely aims towards for Roxy before swerving out of the way to scare her.
The Gregory's are now speeding around the atrium at top speeds in ways I can only describe through this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laygLrQAGXI&list=PL-ArboOXoB_QPCl97mlLKX03pOmGRq11S&index=21
One of the Gregorys absolutely barrels into Map Bot, won’t say which one though. But the Gregorys are absolutely running staff bots over, have you SEEN Gregory drive??? TPIOFY Gregory is crashing through any walls that look mildly breakable, and Glitched Gregory is full-on ZOOMING along the walls like you’re able to do in the cut Roxy Go-kart minigame.
This entire section was inspired by the unused Roxy Raceway Go-karting game you can see in this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc_BmFnOBaI
there were so many good ideas in this that i want to do but i ran out of steam. anyways enjoy my deranged scribbles. i entered a fugue state as soon as i started and this is what i ended up with. maybe i’ll go back and clean these up later (i have many ideas about how to draw the differences between the Gregorys) but yeah. here you go.

posting this here but it's mostly setting the scene for the time being. maybe this'll help me get my ass on working on chapter 2 more
Point:Paimos
Chapter 1: Faith
1917 words, ~10 minutes read
The rain was pelting down on the rough concrete below. Erina loosely held her umbrella above her head, as she sat on a bench, waiting outside of the Church for her parents, idly twisting and twirling the handle of the umbrella in her hands. Flocks of families exited the church, many pulling up their jacket hoods or putting up their umbrellas before either returning to their cars or walking down either end of the street. She looked down and bounced her legs beneath her off-white puffy dress, which contrasted with her rich, melanated skin. A voice awoke her from her stare into the distance.
"Erina,"
Erina looked up to see her father looking down at her, standing just outside the entrance to the church. Despite not going far, her father seemed to be sweating ever so slightly, clutching his rosary tightly against his chest.
"your mother told me to let you know that she and I will be having a short meeting with some of the pastors. They want to talk about the possibility of the winery producing some custom wines to use for their sermons, remember the sample bottles we bought with us from our wine cellar?"
Erina nodded her head silently in response, glancing over at her parent's vineyard in the distance down the street behind her father.
"We'll only be gone for around an hour, maybe two or three hours at the most. Here are the keys, we won't be too long. Your mom has her keys with her, so don't worry about having to let us in. There should be money in the lockbox underneath the sink if you feel like ordering in some food. There's quite a bit of money in there, so don't go spending it all in one go."
Her father gently threw the house keys to Erina, and they landed in her lap.
"Okay," Erina stood up to kiss her father on the cheek goodbye, "Thanks, dad.  Love you, see you later."
She waved to him whilst walking away.
"See you later, alligator." Her father responded with a playful grin.
His kind and gentle face began to contort as his lips began to tremble and a tear fell down his cheek, watching his daughter depart in the distance. A completely veiled nun appeared from behind him and tapped on his shoulder to lure him back into the church, glancing behind him as he walked back into the church as tears began to flee from his tear-ducts.
Erina returned to her house, unlocking the front door and retiring her umbrella to the pot of umbrellas in the corner against the wall. She kicked off her shoes, settinf them on the floor in the hallway and retreated upstairs to her bedroom. There, she changed into a red sweater with a butterfly design embedded into the centre of the garment, black leggings, and fluffy black socks. She sat on her bed, pulled out her laptop adorned with butterfly stickers, and began to finish the last of her homework assignments.
By 10 pm that night after Erina had finished all of her coursework and her regular chores, she noticed that her parents had not returned, nor had they contacted her mobile phone. No calls, no texts, nothing.
"Maybe they're just busy overnight in the vineyard with the wines and forgot to let me know. It happens more nights than I'd like. They'll be back by tomorrow morning if anything, but they'll probably stay through to the afternoon in the vineyard." Erina comforted herself with that thought.
She retrieved her pyjamas and underwear from her walk-in closet and began to make her way to the en-suite that was connected to her bedroom. She showered and donned her royal blue silk bonnet before retiring to the comfort of her warm bed, the pattering of the rain on her window lulled her to sleep.
Monday morning came and went, as did the drag of the school day. The sky was still a murky grey from the Sunday rain, and puddles remained in the depressions of the cement sidewalk. Erina sat on the short stone wall outside of the desolate Rynden Post-Primary Education Centre, awaiting her friend Ashley. Her knees rapidly bounced beneath her heavy boot-cut jeans, trembling slightly under the bite of the cold wind that wisped through the town. She glanced around the eerily quiet space, the wind whistling around her head as she diverted her gaze from the empty footpaths to the empty parking spaces, to missing person posters that tumbled like tumbleweeds along the road and footpath.
The main doors of the entrance to the Centre burst open.
"Hey 'Rina!!" Ashley beamed and jogged over to Erina, engulfing her in a tight embrace,
"Sorry it took so long, Mrs. Daught took forever critiquing my assignment from last week. At least she didn't do it in front of everyone and humiliate me, but I wouldn't put it past her to do it, the old crone."
Ashley had been Erina's best friend and partner-in-crime her whole life, they went to Primary school together and lived on the same street. Erina scoffed, released herself from Ashley's constricting embrace and stood up to leave.
"Let's just go, we'll do some work at my place. My parents should be back by now anyways, I think they spent the night at the vineyard again. My dad said that they had to have a meeting with some of the pastors from the church about some 'custom wines' so they were probably getting ahead of the workload there." Erina posited, walking down the footpath with Ashley.
"I hope by 'work' you mean that we get shitfaced from the wine your parents keep in the cellar because the Pinot Noirs are just DELECTABLE!" Ashley exclaimed and blew a chef's kiss.
"Ha ha, very funny," Erina said, sarcastically, "no, we'll just get some work done over a split bottle, no getting shitfaced on a Monday night. Friday? Yes, but Monday? Nahh. Have some decorum!" she jested.
Ashley cackled and swung her arm around Erina's shoulder as they continued their path to Erina's house, kicking and stepping on the loose missing person posters that littered the footpaths tumbling around her feet.
Erina swung open her front door, "Mom!? Dad!? Are you home yet!?" she bellowed into the house. Only her voice echoed back to her.
The two girls entered the hallway, retired their shoes to the shoe rack, and walked through the entrance adjacent to the front door that lead to the dining room, setting their required equipment onto the dining room table.
"Hold on, I'm gonna go check their bedroom, they might be asleep," Erina said and took off up the stairs before Ashley could acknowledge what she said. Erina knocked on the door to her parent's bedroom, waiting a few seconds before entering quietly. The room was as her parents left it, a neatly made queen-sized bed stood across from the balcony doors. The door to the master bathroom was still ajar and empty. Her mother's crimson silk bonnet sat undisturbed at her marble vanity, her makeup disorganised from the last application, and her silk robe hung on a hook on the door of the master bathroom.
Erina felt as if all of her organs fell to the bottom of her torso all at once, and a lump announced its presence in her throat. She approached the bed, which was neatly dressed in cream satin sheets, and sat down on it, composing herself with deep breaths. Ashley had made her way up the stairs, curious as to what the silence and the absence of Erina were.
"They're not here, are they?", Ashley inquired solemnly as Erina lifted her head to face her and gently shook her head. Ashley stood at the top of the staircase, her arm on the bannister.
"I should call the church, they were last there. If not, I'll try the vineyard's number." Erina proposed. Ashley held out her arm, motioning for Erina to join her back downstairs. Erina followed Ashley downstairs and made her way to the landline that rested on the wall next to the umbrella box in the hallway. She input the number and waited for the line to connect.
"Why do you have to call the church through the landline?", Ashley queried,
"I'm not sure, my mom always said that the church doesn't accept calls from mobile devices. Something about modern technology messing up their landlines-", Erina interrupted herself as the call was picked up,
"Oh hi, it's Erina Collins, I'm Marsha and John's daughter, you know- the vintners?", she paused,
"Yeah I'm just calling to ask if anyone's seen them after they left the meeting yesterday, they still haven't come home.", she paused once more before responding,
"Okay, I'll call the vineyard, just wanted to know if someone's seen them yesterday after they left. Thanks anyway."
She hung the phone back on the landline box and turned to Ashley.
"No luck, I'll try the vineyard."
"They'll have to be there at least. Were your parents answering any of your calls last night?" Ashley asked.
"Just straight to voicemail every time."
Erina and Ashley walked back into the dining room where they sat at the dining room table, and Erina retrieved her mobile phone from the bottom of her bag. She dialled the vineyard's public number, set it to speakerphone and set the phone on the table in front of herself and Ashley. It rang for a few seconds before being picked up.
"Good evening, this is Collins Vineyard and Winery, how can I help you today?", a dead-inside cheery customer service voice answered.
"Hi, I'm Erina Collins- Marsha and John's daughter. Are they there?"
"I'm sorry love, I'm afraid they're not. They haven't been around since Saturday and haven't picked up any of our calls. Are they not at home?"
"No, they're not, that's why I called to see if they were there. Could you let me know on this number if they show up at all, please?"
"Of course love, let us know if you see them around too. Uhm, and if they don't turn up soon, just know that the winery and the vineyard are under good management, the business will continue as usual so you won't have to worry bout much on the business end unless they're gone for a long time."
"I understand. Thank you anyways."
"No worries, love"
The phone clicked, hanging up the call. Erina's legs had been vigorously bouncing up and down underneath the table throughout the call. Ashley placed her hand over Erina's laid half-closed fist under the table and began to caress her knuckles with her thumb.
"It'll be okay, 'Rina," she whispered.
Erina sat hunched over the table, her hand holding up her jaw as tears fought their way out from her glossy eyes and her lips began quivering.
"What do I do now? I can't- I can't think of anything else to do.", Her voice cracked as her palms clasped around her face, tears sliding down the outer edges of her hands.
"We should file a missing person's report of your parents.", Ashley stood up and gently ran her hand around Erina's back, taking her place in the chair next to her.
A shaky, "Uh huh." was all that was heard from Erina.
"Let's just relax for a bit before actually filing it. I'll make us some tea." Ashley walked over to the open kitchen space that was behind Erina and set the kettle on to boil.

**
All you wanted was to pick up a box of hot chocolate at the grocery store on your way home. You’d had an amazing few hours spent in the woods with that peculiar wolf and now just wanted a drink to help warm you up in your apartment away from everyone. It was supposed to be an in and out trip. But life apparently didn’t quiet agree with that.
Just as you were reaching for the last box of your favorite brand of hot chocolate, another hand coming from behind snatched it first. You turned around to find a particularly tall stranger smirking down at you.
“Excuse me,” you said politely, “I was going for those first. May I please have them?”
The stranger shook the box mockingly. “Maybe.”
Rolling your eyes, you decided that this was not a game you wanted to play right now. You grabbed an off-brand box off the shelf and started to walk away. An arm flew out and grabbed the metal bar shelving, blocking your path. The hand of the other arm pushed your shoulder into the non-perishables behind you.
You barely managed to shove the stranger’s hand away, but he still kept you trapped, unable to leave.
“What is your problem?” you hissed.
His smirk just grew as he leaned down to you. “I just want to get to know you.” Coming in closer, you felt the air move by your neck as he took in a deep breath. “That smell is… intoxicating.”
A strange chill ran down your spine. What smell? The shampoo you used was nothing special. You pushed him away, the current situation frightening you for a reason you couldn’t explain.
“(y/n).”
To your left, Kyungsoo marched up and stepped in front of you, facing the stranger.
“Well, would you look at that?” the stranger smirked, straightening up. “Is an MR going stand up for the pretty girl? I’m so scared.”
A strange urge to wrap your arms around Kyungsoo and cower into his back came over you. You shook the feeling away, utterly shocked.
What was that? Typically, you would have been annoyed at Kyungsoo’s interference, like that first night you met. You were someone who could take care of themselves, you’d done it before. But this time around, all you felt was relief. It was a strange emotion, not one that you were used to.
“Better an MR than an omega,” Kyungsoo spat. What did any of that mean?
That just angered the stranger more. “You little punk.” He grabbed Kyungsoo by the collar of his sweater. “Why don’t you – ah!”
Your eyes widened. Kyungsoo had simply grabbed the stranger by his wrist, twisting it at an unnatural angle so he’d let go of the fabric, the stranger’s face contorting into a look of pain.
“Get out of here,” Kyungsoo ordered. He let go of the stranger’s wrist, who then tripped over his own feet multiple times as he ran for the exit. Picking up the box that the stranger had dropped, Kyungsoo held it out to you.
“Thanks,” you whispered, taking the box and replacing the less desirable one back on the shelf. Amazingly, he didn’t stop you this time when you turned to leave. With each step, your pace to hurry away from him slowed until at the very end of the aisle you came to a complete stop.
This twice now that he had saved you from someone who thought you looked like a new toy to play with. He didn’t have to step in, but he did. And here you were, acting ungrateful. Not to mention the small part of you that didn’t want to leave him.
Spinning on your heels, you said in a voice louder than necessary, “Do you want a cup of hot chocolate?”
His eyebrows jumped up in surprise. “W-what?”
Taking a deep breath, you walked back to him. Lowering your voice, you repeated, “Do you want a cup of hot chocolate? As a… thank you. This is twice now, so I think I should stop being so rude.”
This smile that lit up on his face nearly blinded you. How could a smile be shaped like a heart? Your own heart was picking up speed in your chest. Using the cardboard box in your hands, you covered the area up to avoid detection.
No. No thinking like that. It was just a thank you. You don’t know this boy at all. Think rationally.
Says the girl who just spent several hours with a seemingly intelligent wild animal that could kill her in ten seconds. All rationality has left you.
“I’d love to.”
You were a bit frozen at the moment. Never had you seen such warm brown eyes before. They were comforting and shining. You could just inside them forever. Opposite of that icy blue you were used to in the past.
“(y/n)?”
You blinked. “Yeah. Right. Um, did you need to grab something real quick?”
You’d actually spaced out and been caught staring at him. What other embarrassing thing could you do?
Kyungsoo shook his head. “No. They’re out of what I wanted.”
“Right,” you nodded. “Okay, then. I’ll just… check out.”
Was this the result of isolating yourself from the rest of mankind? You couldn’t even hold a simple conversation. But he wasn’t helping any. It was like his presence was sending your senses into overdrive.
Rushing past him, you went straight for the self-checkout, quickly scanning the hot chocolate and finishing out the transaction in a hurried fashion. Kyungsoo was right there next to you. You could feel his eyes on you. It took a few tries to get your card in the slot reader. You grabbed hold of the bag carrying your single item and turned to your companion.
“My apartment is just about two blocks away,” you informed him. Glancing down at his sweater, you frowned. “Don’t you have a coat?”
“No,” he replied. “I don’t get cold.”
“Lucky,” you mumbled, bracing yourself for the chill that was about to hit you as you walked through the automatic doors to the dreaded outside.
The two of you walked in silence to your apartment. You tried to come up with multiple conversation starters, but none of them would leave the tip of your tongue. This had to be proof. You really were broken, no longer able to function socially like a normal human being. Fantastic.
Groaning internally, you managed to unlock your apartment and flip on the light. Then you flinched at the sight. There were still boxes stacked against the wall containing the objects you owned but hadn’t needed to unpack quite yet.
“Are you leaving?” Kyungsoo asked. He sounded… worried? Almost panicky?
You shook your head. “No. I’m just….” Keeping things packed just in case, “lazy at unpacking. It’ll get put away eventually.” You scratched your scalp, embarrassed. “I just never have people over so I wasn’t thinking about it.”
Obviously fighting back a smile, Kyungsoo nodded while slipping his hands into his pockets.
While you warmed up a pot of water on the stove, Kyungsoo wandered around your living room, pausing at the entertainment stand that held your TV, a plant, the only two pictures you owned. One of you and your father when you graduated high school and the second of you and Mina on your twenty-first birthday. Right before you met Chace.
“Is this your father?” Kyungsoo asked, pointing to the first picture. The hot chocolate was done and you brought a mug over to him, for which he thanked you for.
“Yeah,” you smiled. Your dad was your best friend, although Mina pretended not to know that she was only in second place. He tried so hard to be there for you even when work had to call him away. Lately, he’d been hard to reach, stationed in the desert with spotty satellite connection. “He’s in the military, so I don’t get to see him much.”
Kyungsoo gave you a sympathetic look. “I’m sorry.”
You shrugged. “I’m used to it. We’d bounce from base to base. It’s probably why I can’t stay in once place for long. The idea of settling is... weird to me.”
For just meeting this guy, you were being way too honest. In just a few short minutes, he was suddenly easy to talk to. One little question and you were an open book. Had the lock broken so effortlessly? You’d need to watch it before you revealed the things you had to keep to yourself.
“Maybe if you met… someone?”
The expression Kyungsoo was giving you was simultaneously making you melt and want to build up a wall. A very high wall. Maybe one with a moat around it. With alligators.
Shaking your head, you took a sip of your drink. “I don’t really meet people.”
“Hmmm,” was how he replied. There was a moment or two of silence. “And this is Mina?”
You whirled on him. How the hell would he know your friend’s name? Noticing your look of horror, he picked up the picture. “It’s on her nametag?”
Her nametag?
You snatched the picture out of his hand, scanning it. Oh, right. There it was on her shirt. Of course. You’d given her crap all night because she accidentally agreed to stay an extra hour at her waitressing job to help with the random rush. She had to come straight to the bar from the restaurant, making you feel weird as you were all dressed to celebrate and she was still in her uniform. It didn’t matter in the end, as you two still ended up having a blast.
“Yeah, that’s Mina,” you nodded, handing the picture back to him. “She’s a riot. I miss her sometimes.”
“Understandable.” Kyungsoo returned the picture to its place. Then something else caught his eye.
A movie that you had taken out with the intention of watching yesterday but never got around to actually putting on was sitting on the second shelf of the stand. It was an old Hitchcock movie that not many had heard of. Kyungsoo picked it up, smiling.
“You like this movie?”
You nodded. “It’s one of my favorites. Have you seen it?”
“No,” he admitted. “But I’ve always wanted to.”
“Do you want to watch it?” The question was out before you could stop yourself. He was just supposed drink the coco and leave. So, then, why were you hoping he would say yes? You chewed on your bottom lip. Shouldn’t you be hoping he’d say no?
“Sure,” he smiled.
Damn it. If he kept smiling at you like that, you were going to end cooking him dinner. Why did you have to be a sucker for a nice smile? And it wasn’t even nice. It was brilliant – breath-taking.
What was wrong with you?
Without any sign from you, Kyungsoo went right into turning on your DVD player and popping the disk in. You settled on your old worn out couch, squeezing into the corner after placing your mug down on the ring-stained coffee table.
On the other side sat Kyungsoo, keeping his distance in a gentleman-like manner. Even as the opening narration began, you still couldn’t concentrate on the screen. Stupid urges plagued you. It had been too long since you sat and watched a movie with someone. Of the opposite sex, no less.
You kept wondering if he was warm. If he was soft. Would you meld perfectly into his side?
Stop it!
Huffing to yourself, you grabbed a throw pillow off the floor and repositioned yourself so you were halfway laying down but still on your side of the couch, your head resting on the pillow.
About thirty minutes into the movie, your eyelids became heavy. You fought them bravely but in the end, even with a stranger sitting in your living room, you drifted off to sleep.
**
Kyungsoo knew it the second you fell asleep. He could hear your heartrate and breathing slow. He smiled to himself. That meant that you were getting comfortable around him, at ease in his presence. When you asked him to come over for a warm drink, he could hardly believe it.
Granted, he knew that the reason you were opening up to him was because of the time you were spending with him in his wolf form. Even if you weren’t consciously aware of it, the mate bond between the two of you was growing, pulling you in more.
At your sleeping figure, the wolf inside whined. Kyungsoo had to fight against his instinct to nudge in behind you and wrap his arms around you, snuggling you in close to his chest where you were safest. Waking up to that just might take away all the progress he’s made.
But this was certainly something. You let him know just a little more about yourself. Apparently there were only two people in your life. Could you maybe make room for one more?
Kyungsoo shook his head. No, with him came at least a dozen more or so.
With a high toned shrill, his phone went off in his pocket. Glancing over at you to make sure you hadn’t woken up, he answered it, speaking softly.
“Hello?”
“Kyungsoo, its Junmyeon. Where are you?”
“I’m….” How was he supposed to answer? “I’m still in town.”
“Okay,” his alpha sighed. “Can you get back to the farm house as soon as possible? We’re about to go over new perimeter assignments with the others. I’d like you here.”
The others? Did he mean Kris, Luhan, and Tao? Junmyeon hadn’t even been in the house at the same time as Kris since they arrived. This could be good. Or a terrible argument waiting to happen.
“As soon as possible,” Junmyeon added.
“I’m on my way.”
Great. He’d have to run.
He hated leaving you there, but he didn’t want to disturb your sleep either. Covering you up with the blanket form the back of the couch, he let himself take in the view of you for another minute before exiting the apartment.
Making back to the house in record time, he was completely exhausted. Everyone else was already there and gathered around the table. Kyungsoo tossed his sweater in the direction of the laundry room, earning a glare from Minseok. He didn’t care. He was too hot to put it back on, leaving him in just the white t-shirt he’d worn underneath.
“Good, you’re here,” was Junmyeon’s greeting to him. He started passing out different papers to everyone. “This is the perimeter schedule from now on. I’ve paired you off in groups. No arguments.”
There were a few grumbles around the room as everyone looked over the schedule. After reading his running mates, Kyungsoo sent the alpha a silent death glare. Of course he would get saddled with Chanyeol and Sehun. This wasn’t going to end well. At least his runs were at the time that you were usually at work. A relatively safe place for you to be.
“Anyone have any updates?” Junmyeon asked. Most of them shook their heads. Kris was the only one who spoke up.
“We’ve lost the hybrids’ trail, so we don’t know where they are exactly now, but I’ve got friends in a neighboring town that are keeping their ears open. They’ll let me know if they hear anything.”
Junmyeon gave a single hard nod, barely acknowledging his old friend.
“There was another omega today,” Kyungsoo advised. “He went after (y/n).”
“Why do they keep doing that?” Baekhyun asked.
“It’s an unclaimed mate thing,” Luhan answered. “All mates have a scent that only their wolf is supposed to be able to smell. No one knows why, but omegas are able to pick up on the smell as well when the mate is unclaimed. It’s like cooking meat right in front of a starving dog. Almost impossible to resist.”
“This mate thing sounds complicated to the point where I’m not sure I want one,” Sehun sneered.
“You’ll get one whether you like it or not,” Chanyeol reminded him. “Right, Jongdae?”
“Stop!” Jongdae groaned. For once, Kyungsoo was on his side. The joke was getting old. Fast.
After a few more rounds of throwing verbal punches, everyone dispersed, Junmyeon being the first one out of the room to who knows where. Kyungsoo was itching to get back to you. Your apartment wasn’t close to the edge of town, but he’d go back tonight anyway as a wolf, keeping a close eye on any other omegas that might roll into town. If you really smelled that irresistible to those dangerous wolves, then he was going to have to work harder to speed up getting you to trust him and then fall for him.

Check out our diverse Father’s Day gift guide below.Mock croc, croc-effect, croc print, faux croc, whatever you want to call it, it’s having a moment. At high street labels like Topshop and Mango all the way up to luxury houses like Victoria Beckham and Prada, calf leather embossed and textured to look like crocodile skin is changing the accessories game. While brands have been using croc-effect leather for a while now (whether because it straddles both affordability and luxury, or for ethical or sustainability reasons), the fact that we’re suddenly seeing it just about everywhere is due to rising awareness and accountability both within the fashion industry and without. Last December, Chanel announced it would be banning the use of exotic skins in its leather goods, a move that was echoed a couple of months later at Victoria Beckham.“As a business, we have been looking to action the use of more ethically sourced products that have less environmental impact for some time,” a Victoria Beckham brand spokesperson told WWD. “We are happy to confirm that we will cease using exotic skins in all future collections as of our main autumn/winter 2019 ready-to-wear presentation. This decision reflects the wishes of not only the brand, but also that of our customers.”Earlier this spring, iconic British department store Selfridges released a statement saying it would be phasing out exotic skins from its expansive inventory, aiming to “stop selling products containing alligator, crocodile, lizard, and python skins by February 2020,” as reported You Can See More Product: https://shirttrending.com/product-category/trending/ Read the full article

Mephibosheth Ch.4
Chapter 4 of my Undertale fanfic! You can also read it here on AO3 :D
┍━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━┑
Hot.
Hot.
Hothothothot.
Long strings of keratin clung to Chara's face and neck. Fat drops of sweat trickled into his sweater. Drenched cloth gripped his skin with the desperation of a dying man.
This wasn't exactly the nicest way to wake up.
Blinking rapidly to get the bleariness of his eyes, Chara took quick stock of his surroundings. They were on a boat - he remembered docking on the strange ferry with Asriel just after leaving Grillby's - and it was very, very hot.
"Tra la la. Wash your eyebrows twice a week."
Purple cloth swished in the corner of his vision. Ah, that was the Riverkid. Chara remembered that much. They were much less interesting than Asriel had hyped them up to be; cryptic maxims and a weird dog-boat didn't precisely fit Chara's definition of "fascinating." The human was getting used to his companion's hyperbolic tendencies.
"Thank you so much, Riverkid." A familiar white blur - oh, must be Asriel - wafted towards Chara. "Glad you got some shut-eye, dude. We're in Hotland now, it'll only be a few minutes until we're home. Ready to go?"
Chara nodded, blinking again as the wet air blurred his vision, and grabbed his Grillby's takeaway bag. Still heavy. Part of him was surprised that nobody had made any advances on his lunch.
The boat bobbed downwards as Asriel stepped off and rocked gently as the human stood up. Chara grasped the goat's paw as he crossed from boat to dry land, waving the Riverkid a half-hearted goodbye as he did so. The two giggled as the little ship grew a set of legs and quiet literally skipped back the way they came. It seemed like this place was always full of surprises.
Asriel started walking down the dark corridor in front of them. Chara followed hastily, not used to being left behind. "Golly," the Prince muttered to himself, "sometimes I forget how hot this place is. My dad named it Hotland for a reason, I guess." Chara chuffed in agreement, digging through his bag for the chocolate bar. His fingers pressed into something suspiciously soft and vaguely rectangular; a wave of grief crashed over him as he realized the heat had already liquified his sweet treat. He pulled it out anyways - solid or liquid, it was still chocolate, and he was going to eat it.
The pair stepped outside the corridor and were greeted by an astonishing expanse of red. The color was everywhere. Colonnades of crimson stone rose from the pulsating magma beneath, melding together to create the floor the two stood on. The proud obelisks reached towards the ceiling and cradled a labyrinth of buildings and houses between them. Lava trickled from the steppe-like sides of the cavern; the shadow of a massive machine loomed in the distance. The whole place smelled like burnt earth and fire.
Chara brought the packet of liquified chocolate to his lips and sipped as he stared. He stopped his observations for a split second to appreciate how delicious the chocolate was; it didn't even leave the sugary grit on his teeth most chocolates did. Probably something to do with weird monster magic.
"-and that's the lab that the Royal Scientist and his assistants work at. They're going to bring down the barrier one day." Asriel pointed to a massive white building on the right with the words 'LAB' painted haphazardly over sliding doors. Masters of science, clearly, but not aesthetic.
The human nodded thoughtfully to himself, wordlessly criticizing the weird white box of a building, and found his gaze captivated by a massive, rectangular shadow in the distance.
"Azzy, what's that?" Chara directed a single, slender finger to the grey structure in the distance. Was it an extension of the LAB? It looked much bigger and decidedly cooler.
"Oh. That's the CORE," Asriel replied, the apathy thick in his voice, "it's some weird machine the Royal Scientist is working on...I don't really get what it does, but it's supposed to be a big deal. Something about magical electricity? Dunno."
"Magical electricity?" the human queried as the two squinted at the shadow, "don't you guys have that already? Snowdin Town had lots of lights. And how would the sliding doors of the LAB open up without power?"
The fur on the back of Asriel's neck stood up as he became acutely aware of his intellectual inferiority. He didn't understand the CORE despite his mother's best attempts to explain and couldn't see why everybody else was so excited about it. Like Chara said, they already had electricity - right? He tried to swallow the bitter taste of frustration and blinked away the water already building in his eyes.
With a nonchalant huff, the Prince shrugged and said everything wasn't as complicated as it looked. He explained that the CORE had been running for years even though it wasn't finished (he was pretty sure this was true) and that there was no reason to be hung up on it because it honestly wasn't even that important (that part wasn't). He sighed a silent breath of relief when Chara turned his head away from the CORE and towards him.
"Let's keep going then, alrighty?" Asriel suggested with a poorly hidden sense of urgency. The human nodded, and he relaxed.
A wave of heat washed over the two as they passed the LAB. Chara made an offhand comment about weather in the Underground being on the extreme side, to which Asriel said something about Waterfall and rain.
"Waterfall?" Chara quipped absent-mindedly through a mouthful of chocolate goo.
"Oh, yeah. It's another place down here. We passed it on the ferry, but you were asleep, I think. I don't go there often, but it's this huge place, all blue, you know, with stars and rain and waterfalls. Boy, is it gorgeous! Much nicer than Hotland." Chara raised his eyebrows in casual surprise, and Asriel, emboldened by the reaction, continued. "I'll make sure to take you there sometime. But we gotta go home first, you know. Let me guess...you want to take the short way?"
Chara nodded vehemently. For all the earthly beauty of Hotland, its name encapsulated the reason why it was so unbearable. The thought of relief outweighed the desire to explore.
"Haha! I thought so. Follow me." Asriel sprinted off towards a thin pathway in front of him, forcing Chara to toss his packet of chocolate sauce back in the bag and hastily lick his fingers before following the goat.
Ahead of them, the soprano sparkle of electricity accompanied a dull metallic clink. Asriel reached the end of the red stone path and stopped abruptly; a sudden rush of self-awareness on Chara's part the only thing saving him from face planting into the former's back. With a comical flourish, the Prince stepped aside to reveal a shimmering, bullet-like contraption. It looked vaguely like an elevator, and, with the exposition Asriel supplied, confirmed to be so.
"This bad boy'll take us right to the biggest apartment building in the Underground." Asriel explained as the two stepped inside the strange contraption, "from there, we can take another elevator straight to New Home. That's where my parents live and where you'll, uh-" A robotic chime cut off Asriel's short explanation, which had already begun dying off for some reason. The doors swung open, and the pair stepped outside.
A tall, blue building whose only shape could be described as obscurely octahedral greeted them. Despite being nowhere near as proud as Hotland's stone columns, it carried its own self-important sense of confidence. Flashes of domestic life could be seen through the windows: a bunny monster rocking a child to sleep, a dragon child drawing cautious shapes on their bedroom wall, and a family of what seemed to be anthropomorphic volcanoes scampering around a dinner table.
"This, Chara, is the biggest apartment complex in the Underground. A-and believe me, considering how many of them are in New Home, that means a lot." Chara raised his eyebrows, a now obligatory gesture, and made a movement towards the glass doors.
"W-wait!" Asriel cried.
Chara froze. Had he done something wrong?
"Uh, s-sorry to scare you. But considering the time, there'll be a lot of monsters in the lobby. J-just stay close to me, and you'll be fine." The Prince's eyes grew cloudy all of a sudden, and his voice dropped. "You won't need to worry about crowds when you're with me. They, uh, typically go away when I'm around. I call it the 'Asriel Effect.'"
If the epithet was intended to be a joke of sorts, the only indication of it was a lame laugh on the speaker's part. Asriel blinked quickly and grasped Chara's hand, opening the door with his unoccupied paw.
The scene in front of them reminded Chara immediately of Grillby's. On their right, a small family of bunny monsters chatted with a group of what Asriel called 'Temmies.' A disembodied fox head gossiped with an equally disembodied hand. A little man made entirely of fire clutched a tiny green ember to his chest and shouted endless expletives at the overwhelmed receptionist. What looked like a cross between an alligator and a toddler scrambled past, shouting greetings at a small cat-monster with a heavy prairie-girl inflection.
Chara's earlier anxiety melted away. Something magical bloomed in his chest - fiery, soft, delicate - that drenched the scene around him in pink. A rush of gratitude flooded his veins. With the faint vestiges of religion still in his blood, he thanked an unknown god for sparing him long enough to see such a sight.
It was at that moment that Chara realized that he was irreversibly and impossibly in love with monsterkind.
An empty part of the human suddenly felt whole again.
Intermingled scents of cleaning products and cold tile wafted up Chara's nose as Asriel guided his human through the rapidly-dispersing cloud. The "Asriel Effect" had been surmised excellently by its namesake; monsters young and old hastily stepped out of their way and proceeded to stare at them with quiet looks of awe. Awkward small talk was made with a little jello monster that spoke entirely in wiggles and with the busboy who'd taken great pains to shoo everybody except for "His Majesty and His Majesty's friend" out the Capital-bound elevator
Another ping, another swish of mechanical doors, and another scene. New Home revealed itself in front of the human. Traces of gasoline and pollen pirouetted in the air and settled into their clothes. Asriel guided Chara down a twisting and turning grey pathway with much less commentary than before, a strange change of pace from his earlier talkativeness. Idly licking the foil of the now-nonexistent chocolate bar in hopes of another drop of ebony goodness, Chara twisted his head this way and that to get a full view of the Capital. On his right, monochrome apartment buildings fraternized with the clouds above. Faint shards of gossip and chit chat could be heard in the distance; the loud vibrations of city life made the exact subjects impossible to discern, however. A look to the left revealed a scene identical in color palette and structure.
"You live here?" Chara whispered.
Asriel flinched in surprise, rudely awakened from whatever melancholy train of thought he had been conducting, and cast a quick glance at Chara. The question only seemed to register after a few seconds of awkward staring. Quickly stuttering out an explanation, the Prince elucidated that yes, he technically lived here, but not in an apartment building. Chara's unreadable expression prodded Asriel to continue, and he laid out the hasty verbal blueprints of his house, tracing a finger through the air to make an impression of the path from the living room to the bedroom.
In all honesty, Chara wasn't paying much attention to Asriel's explanation. Soon enough, he would see the place for himself; all this gesturing and waving and stuttering was a little bit excessive. Ruminating on these thoughts, Chara pulled out a paper napkin from the takeaway bag and ran it over his fingers and mouth, cringing when he saw the copious amounts of melted chocolate that had been smeared on his face for at least the past half hour. His brain slowly processed Asriel's endless stream of words as he pressed the corners of the ruined napkin together and tossed it back in the bag. Dark, unreadable eyes focused themselves again on Asriel.
"Hey, Azzy," Chara began, cutting the Prince's detailed description of his toy box in half, "why are you so nervous?"
"Nervous?" The Prince giggled painfully. "Aha, gosh, can't say I know what you mean."
Something furious flashed across Chara's face - just long enough for Asriel to swallow his words but not enough for any nonverbal threat to be communicated. Taking the silence as his cue to continue, Chara opened his mouth and said, "Asriel, there isn't really a point in lying. You're nervous. What for? Is it me?"
Asriel's eyes widened in horror, and he shook his head vehemently. Multiple attempts at answering the question were made, all dissolved into a shambling mess of malformed syllables. Finally, the Prince steeled himself and drew in a huge breath. He gave Chara a pointed look.
"I'm scared, Chara."
"Scared?" The human rolled the word around on their tongue like a marble, "Scared of what?"
"O-of what we're about to do."
"What do you mean? Are we doing something wrong?"
The goat boy shook his head and gestured to the little yellow house standing in front of them. The meticulously cut front lawn was a bright green that stood in friendly defiance to the Capital's grey; tiny purple morning glories, elevated by a web of vines, pressed their heads against the yellow brick. Brilliant buttercups cushioned by shy clusters of baby's breath lay like a garland around the little cottage.
A tinge of cinnamon and butterscotch hung in the air.
Asriel grasped Chara's hand and gripped the human's shoulder with his unoccupied paw. His eyes sparkled with an amalgamation of sorrow, anticipation, and pure joy.
"Chara, our lives are about to change forever. You know that, right?"
