With how Wrecker popped off on Omega's room in the gunner's nest AND everyone's personalized bunks on Kamino AND the fact that they keep trying to maintain a group aesthetic (black-and-red-with-skulls to orange-lines-with-leather-underarmour-and-jeans pipeline) AND the attention to detail in their skull motifs, I personally can not wait to see the interior decorating of the batch's cottagecore beach house while they're in their property brother's era on pabu

I'm so mad!!! I have cling wrap in my living room windows that face the west. When the sun sets in the summer, it hits my front windows and turns it into an oven in here. We technically aren't supposed to hang things in the windows, but no one ever said anything, so I've had it up since at least 2021.
Maintenance came by today to check my smoke alarms and the manager was with them. Apparently she just now realized that I didn't just have my blinds open all the time. "We're supposed to see white on the outside," aka the blinds. Are you for real?? This shit stays on with static electricity. It doesn't damage the windows at all and it helps my heating/air conditioning costs stay down in the summer and winter. (I have room darkening curtains, but they're no match for the Texas sun in July).
The blinds don't do shit, either. If anyone has any ideas that don't stick in the window lane, I'm all for suggestions. 🤬

The Magic of Home Decor: A Story of Drapes and Curtains
Tumblr media
Once upon a time, in a small town in the heart of America, there lived a woman named Mary. Mary had always been passionate about home decor and had a keen eye for design. She loved nothing more than transforming a room into a beautiful and inviting space, and she was particularly fond of curtains and drapes.
Mary’s love of curtains and drapes began when she was a young girl, watching her grandmother sew beautiful cotton curtains on an old Singer sewing machine. Her grandmother would tell her stories about how she used to make curtains for the whole town, and Mary was fascinated by the way the right curtains could completely transform a room.
As Mary grew older, she continued to develop her passion for curtains and drapes. She studied interior design in college and worked for several years as a designer for a local home decor store. Eventually, she decided to open her own store, a place where she could share her love of curtains and drapes with the world.
Mary’s store was a small but cozy space, filled with a wide variety of curtains and drapes. She had everything from traditional curtains made of heavy fabrics like velvet and silk to light filtering curtains made of cotton and linen. She even had a range of curtain rods to complement every style of curtain.
One day, a young couple came into Mary’s store looking for curtains for their new home. They had just moved into a fixer-upper and were eager to turn it into a beautiful and inviting space. Mary greeted them warmly and asked them what kind of look they were going for.
“We want something traditional,” the woman said. “Something that will make our home feel cozy and inviting.”
Mary knew just the thing. She showed the couple a range of traditional curtains, made of heavy fabrics like velvet and silk. The couple was immediately drawn to a pair of deep red velvet drapes, and Mary could see their eyes light up as they imagined how the curtains would look in their new home.
As they were checking out, the couple asked Mary for advice on how to hang the curtains. They had never hung curtains before and were a little intimidated by the process. Mary smiled and told them not to worry. She explained the different types of curtain rods and how to choose the right one for their curtains. She even gave them a demonstration of how to hang the curtains, showing them how to adjust the length and width of the rod to fit their window perfectly.
The couple left Mary’s store feeling confident and excited about their new curtains. Over the next few weeks, they spent every spare moment working on their home, painting, and decorating. When they finally hung their new curtains, they were amazed by how much of a difference it made. The deep red velvet curtains added warmth and elegance to their living room, transforming it into a space that felt both traditional and inviting.
The couple was so thrilled with the new curtains that they returned to Mary’s store a few weeks later to thank her in person. They told her that their new curtains had inspired them to continue decorating their home and had given them a renewed sense of pride in their space.
Mary was overjoyed to hear this. She knew that curtains and drapes had the power to transform a room, but to see the impact they had on people’s lives was truly magical. From that day forward, Mary’s store became a haven for homeowners who wanted to transform their living spaces into beautiful and inviting places. And Mary continued to share her love of curtains and drapes with the world, one home at a time.
