I don't like how we talk about black voters
#I know I hate when people talk about ME like i'm not a part of the conversation#Like no#black people choosing not voting Kamala because she still won't talk policy isn't sexist#it's a reasonable reason not to#you just think saying that it is sexist will manipulate the vote and that's literally the only reason it's being said#black people don't want you to frame your policies as being beneficial to them specifically#it's less about ethnicity and more about social status#it's about poverty and about there being few routes out of poverty right now once that becomes you#which affects black people definitely#but not BECAUSE they're black#because it is affecting me too#address it as it is#not what sounds good and sways swing state voters#I find the targeted ads towards black voters that play here because I'm near Detroit offensive at times#Biden tried to say black people are more affected by the pollution here when he was running like ??? fym?#they talk at black voters like they're less informed and need to be addressed separately#idk#rant#black people are part of america#you can address their concerns without making a show of it for support#they're my concerns too#you'll see my reasoning in this post once this election is over#I get why you think you can't acknowledge it now#I am right tho they talk down to black voters
