Bella Swan has always been curious, especially about the various kinds of unknown, but she is first and foremost a realist. Vampires don't exist, and neither do ghosts, werewolves, zombies, or any of the other number of cryptids, creatures, and creepies that you can find wandering about in the supernatural horror section. Her certainty of this is tested when the newspaper starts printing testimony that there is an actual ghoul wandering about the local library. During her attempt to debunk the urban legend, she discovers that she isn't the only skeptic. Alice Cullen, local beauty queen and style guru, who also so happens to have a black belt in karate and a variety of weapons hidden in her beauty kit, has taken an interest in the case as well. After sharing their findings with one another over a milkshake, they join forces with Alice's ex, Jasper Hale, an ex-military strategy whiz with a sweet ride, and Jacob Black, Bella's shaggy childhood friend known for his voracious appetite and suspicious aversion to the supernatural. The girls are ready to catch themselves a fraud - but Bella has her own mystery to solve at the same time. Is Alice just a playful flirt, or are the appreciative looks and lingering touches evidence of a romantic future to unfold?

Rosalie Hale, former high-powered defense attorney, has been working for the DA's office since her own brush with assault and death in the form of a dangerous and violent ex-husband Royce King. After winning custody of her only daughter after a painful and laborious trial, Rosalie is finally looking forward to a life of peace and healing. At least, that's what it looks like until she gets her new assignment - Victoria Sutherland, on trial for the murder of one Riley Biers. Victoria immediately rubs Rosalie the wrong way. She's sure the redhead is guilty. Besides, all the evidence is stacked against her - at least until she starts to uncover the exact nature of her client's history with the prosecution's star defense, James Witherdale. With help from Emmett, her detective friend, and Bree Tanner, a young witness, Rosalie sets out to prove Victoria's innocence, as well as maybe, if it's possible, start them both down the path of healing together.

Labyrinth AU where Leah wishes the Vampire Queen would take her baby brother Seth away on accident and when she goes through the Labyrinth with the aid of she slowly discovers that Victoria did the same thing to her sister Anne centuries ago, and in exchange for her sister's life was chained with magic to the Labyrinth by the Vampire King James. The two fall in love during her journey. When she reaches the end, she does refuse Victoria's plea to stay with her - she won't fail Seth - but she says the final magic words to James instead, "You have no power over her."

Leah wakes up in her bedroom, with Seth sleeping sound in his bed. Everything seems normal. Her heart aches for Victoria, but she has no way of knowing what's become of her, so she puts it out of her mind. Until, a few years later, she takes her brother to the park and spies a familiar tangle of red hair slinking through the park...

tbh there is so much good gay content out there - not enough but that's another discussion - but a lot of us aren't exposed early on and then don't know where to find it and im sort of just realizing that. I mean im all for transformative work that reinterprets and changes cis/straight content, obviously look at my blog, but i really am just now sort of figuring that being on hyper alert for good rep as i am isn't actually the usual and thats a shame not just cause we want gayer content but also cause some pieces are like.... real works of art that have gone unnoticed! or just fun films too idk lol
