Hey, hi, hello! How are you? Hope your cat is getting better and I hope your first week back has been alright. I don't know if you remember me from your ER blog about the request of what would happen if Dreamers firends got basically Isekaied into the Lands Between.

Now, this is your work and your aus, this is all up to you but just humor me for a bit wont ya? I've been thinking about the Dreamer au for a bit now and I haven't been exactly sure to write my thoughts down, but hear me out. We know that, in the Dreamer AU has powers but we don't know the exact details of it (not to my knowledge) and we know that the Shattering really went down after Godwyns death and Dreamer vanished and leaving, right?

Now we have Reader, whatever we're gonna call them getting Isekaied into Feyruin and trying to find a way home. What if Dreamer and Reader are the same character? Dreamer in BG3?  I personally think it wouldn't be off the table, they did went into the Lands Between twice, what stops them being able to basically get to BG3? 👀👀👀

And what if, once the Tadpole gang, plus Druge Tav gets close enough to our lovely Reader, they get some HEAVY lore and backstory from us. What if, when Dreamer comes back to the Lands Between they accidentally brought their party along? Tables turning for the rest of the party.

But what do you think? Sorry if this has been stupidly long or if it made no sense, but I just wanted to give this idea out to you. If you'd like, I have more ideas I wanna ask and talk about. I have a sea of ideas 🥰

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt1: The Nautiloid

How did the isekai happen? Shut up, that's how.

Zelda essentially takes the place of Tav. She gets tadpoled.

As soon as she gets out of the pod she starts calling for Link. When she doesn't get a response, she resolves to just keep an eye out for now.

When she comes across Us she's grossed out, but treats them nice anyway.

Lae'Zel gives her a fright, but they come to an emergency understanding as usual.

They deal with the imps, though it's mostly Lae'Zel and Us. Lae'Zel is NOT happy with Zelda, since she just swung her staff around instead of casting spells. Zelda asks what she means by 'spells' and they move on because they don't have time for a magic primer.

They come across Shadowheart in the pod and they figure that out as normal. Lae'Zel tells her to tell Zelda how to cast fire bolt or something simple like that.

Shadowheart explains 'Ignis!' to Zelda on their way to the helm.

During the helm battle Lae'Zel, Shadowheart, and Us do their thing, but Zelda is unleashing fire bolts left and right. She even uses Ray of Frost somehow.

The gang reaches the nerve transponder or whatever and the Nautiloid section concludes as usual.

Last book I read: The last book I finished must've been American Gods.

Greatest literary inspiration: I don't know. I like reading for reading and for learning, but no one that I really want to write like, and I feel bad for naming big names, still. JRR Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Diane Duane, Isaac Asimov (the short story Liar! has really stuck with me). And even then, that might influence how I used to write original fiction, but not at all how I write fanfiction, which I do almost exclusively now. I write far more original poetry than original fiction, and then ... I'm inspired by my mother, people in my community, all the music I listen to.

My fanfiction is a little inspired by my friends. I was going to link their a/o3 accounts but realized they may not want that. fghdfghdfg

Vlaakith's defeat. - Idk enough about githyanki politics / how many "elite" forces (if any) are at her disposal.

Minsc's homecoming. - I feel like I'd have to play the first two games to be up to this.

You can recognise my writing by: The temptation to insult my own writing is so, so strong, but I don't mean to insult anyone who reads my stuff and enjoys it so I have to be nice. Hm. I don't know. "The way I write dialogue / inner reflection" is vague, but it's all I've got.

My most controversial take (current fandom): You guys (gender neutral and vague) can't call that shit self-insert if it's a non-human Tav (or Durge). It's first or second person writing (often, and not even always lately???), and x Reader fic, but self-insert To Me means that either any reader or at least the author has to be able to picture themself Being Inserted into the story. I haven't seen 1 isekai situation using this tag, which isn't a requirement, but you're giving the self-insert tiefling-tails and backstories, which is fun, but that's not a self-insert to me.

Top three favourite tropes: Slowburn (or emotional slowburn, sexually complicated), Hurt/Comfort (emotional or physical, whatever), Battle Relationship.

What’s your current writing mood (10 – super motivated and churning out words like crazy, 0 – in a complete rut): How current is current? Because potentially 0/10. I'll say 4/10 though.
