Why Kyouya is the best character of Nightmare Rex

Nightmare Rex is a Beyblade Metal Masters video game on Nintendo DS. There is a short story mode, and you play it with dozens of character. To sum-up : the main character takes part in a tournament and faces an evil bey, trying to... well, you see later.

Most of you know me, you know Kyouya is my favorite MFB character (and easily one of my favorite characters ever), but this isn’t for this reason I think he’s great as the main character of Nightmare Rex. It’s because of his reaction.

Then there is the beybattle.

And a second beybattle.

(for someone who pretends to not believe in magic, he’s astonishingly at ease with that kind of event xD)

(I like how he’s his usually self, both caring and taking things easy (almost shrugging them off, really))

DID YOU SEE ? Kyouya talks about Agito’s upbringing. He’s the only character basically saying if he had better manners, he would never have fall prey to Nightmare Rex.

Summing up his words, Kyouya said “If you had listened to your mother, you wouldn’t have been possessed by this bey” xD

(I like to think of it as a side adventure of Kyouya. Just imagine the gang running into Agito, Agito thanking Kyouya with his life and saying he’s gonna listen to his mom now, and all the others : ? And later, they ask Kyouya, who answers “nothing interesting, really, possessed by a dino bey, ridiculous, etc, etc, when can I battle you Ginga?”)

I’ll give you my opinion (no one asked for it, but who cares? xD):

The second best character of Beyblade Metal Masters - Nightmare Rex is Yuu. His reaction is basically “How great! I’m beybattling a dinosaurus!!!”
