hearing bethseda’s new scifi game is going to have ‘thousands’ of explorable worlds 1) brings to mind just how well that idea panned out for mass effect andromeda and 2) makes me feel so incredibly tired

Fallout Themed “Get to Know me”
tagged by @emiratexaaron. Blast, I didn’t even realize I got tagged!
FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH FALLOUT:
Ye gods, I was maybe... We’re gonna go early teens. I remember watching Fallout 3 on my father’s computer, and having been someone who had played Oblivion to death, the graphics were amazing.
And then I got a hold of it, and didn’t immediately put God Mode on, and actually learned how to play a Bethseda game for once.
NAME OF FIRST CHARACTER To be honest, I don’t honestly remember. I was a kid who tended to blunder into games like nobody’s business. So I really can’t remember my first.
... I can remember that I tried to create the Fonz at one point in FO3. So High Charisma, wears the Tunnel Snakes Jacket, good Repair and Speech skill.
DUMB WAYS TO DIE, SO MANY DUMB WAYS TO DIE: I. Hate. Reaver Ghouls.
Falling off Bridges
How bout opening up a can of AcciDeathclaw in Fallout New Vegas?
Pissing off Legion at the wrong time.
NEW VEGAS. LEGENDARY. BLOATFLY.
Trying to make a run North of Goodsprings.
Trying to run away from North of Good Springs...
Geckos in Fallout 2.
Talking Pig Rats in Fallout 2.
Rats in Fallout 1.
Really, the list could go on.
WHAT WOULD I IMPROVE IN FALLOUT 4: *cracks knuckles*
Where do I start.
For one thing, Bring back the Dark Comedy that Fallout is known for. Fallout 4 is too damn bleak, made bleaker by its poorly executed message of “Never give up Hope”.
Cut out half them settlements. A few of them you can’t even build anything on (LOOKIN AT YOU COSTAL COTTAGE).
How about fix those Character plot-holes? Like what was Nick’s take on the Ghoul Removal from Diamond City. He’s been there for nearly 60 years.
Where are the Fallout ZAX?
Add Centaurs. Yes, from the Concept art. Fallout 4 wants Bleak? We’ll make it bloody horrific.
How about more lore-backing to the cap system, hm? Original Fallout, it had been the water traders and their show of force. Here is... cos they want to? You can dig a thing anywhere for clean water, so maybe the trade off could be food. Or maybe make it more mafia theme’d, like its Triggerman enforced or something.
Speaking of Which, can we have more revelance to the Triggermen? We have a Detective with all the Perks for the gods’ sake. Make something of ‘em. Fallout 4 is clearly Fallout Noir to New Vegas’s Fallout Western, let’s go all out.
I want to build a Synth.
How about the Minutemen? What they could’ve done is expanded it more than just from the Castle. Look, all other Factions have bases and set missions from bases that apply to their respective storylines. The Minutemen’s stops at getting a base. Why is that? Why not bring in that Minutemen-Gunner war? How about having the end of the Minutemen Quest be “Taking Quincy Back!”.
Speaking of which, let’s redo that Minutemen Intro a bit. How about... Billy the Ghoul’s Family! Yes, I mean the Ghoul kid. Remove that stupid Fridge quest, and add them to the original roster of Settlers that Preston Garvey is protecting. It’d introduce your character to Ghouls right off the bat without issue (Since there wasn’t a bloody introduction to ghouls).
How about where the Hell the rest of the Minutemen groups were when Qunicy was attacked. The only two you run into were recently Gunners, or turned Raider years ago.
WHAT ABOUT THOSE TIMED MISSIONS BETHSEDA.
How about a bit more interaction with the world from the Companion’s side? If you take a look at Outer Worlds, made by the creators of the original Fallout, the Companions do have an impact when they’re around and it affects and changes the world around them. When you have a Companion in Fallout 4, they’re more like Ghosts with tiny but ultimately meaningless interactions here and there. - I want to be able to call out Piper on her Yellow Journalism, and actually see an increase in News papers around the Commonwealth if I help her. Plus, not just earn her perk, but also gain the ability to create News Paperstands / Printing Presses in Settlements in order to help build the infrastructure of News. You can even add missions about gathering Paper or Printing Parts. - I want to be able to have trading interactions with Goodneighbor, thus giving a reason to have Hancock as a successful companion outside of him being a real cool ghoul. - If you let Danse survive, how about not just letting him grow out of his bigotted views, but let him train Minutemen in weapons, in armor, and in tactics and having a command. - If you help Curie, imagine the improvement of Health for your settlements. Imagine who she could teach for Doctors and Medics, and actually give the Commonwealth a Healthcare system again. - PRESTON IS YOUR BATMAN (I mean the military term, but its funnier if you don’t know the alternative meaning). - Y’know, I would’ve liked to have seen Duncan.
For Companions: -
And the Fucking Institute. An attempt to be the Big MT, and failing that. They could’ve done wacky mad science and still been 50s B-Movie levels of seriousness, y’know? We got so many hints on what they’re like, and they failed to live up to it! We have the visual evidence and dialogue that Gen1 and Gen2 tend to literally dissect / pull things apart by their bare hands. We could’ve seen more of that. What do they do to all those people they kidnap? ... Where did they get the Super Mutants from. How about the Synth v1 Gen3s? Y’know, the one’s that Look like Gen 3s, but have machine parts inside. There could’ve been more mad science, more B-Movie levels of sholy hit. Grossly mutated animals, brains in jars, unique robots, the works!
How about we have something akin to the Master directing the Super Mutants. This was a problem / thing I had with FO3 too. The original Super Mutants had a Psychic Master entity, so why not the East Coast mutants?
How about an explanation as to why the Assaultron is only in Boston.
Where the hell is the Rest of Boston.
How about being capable of directing Minutemen groups to weed out or scavange an area? I don’t have time for all this Missions Present, we have a Castle Now, SEND SOMEONE ELSE.
How about instead of going after Kellogg, Kellogg comes after you. The Director is dying, and you’re the Backup. This would associate you with the Institute just as early as the Minutemen, Maybe. And then, you can take the game into whatever direction you want. - Explore the Glowing Sea by yourself, we’re busy.
Mix Pickman’s Gallery and Cabot House... As one mini-storyline.
Add more cases for Valentine, such as Diamond City Blues and Mystery Meat... Possibly even Cabot House.
Where on Earth is the Brotherhood getting all those Vertibirds... Do they have a factory? Those things blow up if you look at them wrong--- WHERE ARE THEY GETTING THEM.
Replace most of the Generic Raiders with named Raiders, not unlike Fallout 1. Have more Gunners, Rust Devils, the Nuka World Parties; more development at Libertalia.
How about more branching options to deal with Kellogg.
Add a bit of a reputation system for Cities you can’t make a settlement from. Boosting faction or trade routes or really, anything other than sitting there.
... So to sum it up.
I’d do practically a rewrite of Fallout 4.
... ye Gods.
Not tagging anyone cos, well, I don’t know that many people who play fallout that weren’t already tagged...

Supernatural Fic Ideas
1. Possessed Sam
Sam is possessed.
The demons need info out of Dean.
They let Sam try to torture him into talking.
But Dean's been to Hell and it took 30years to break, this is nothing.
When Sam is Sam again he realizes just how much his brother has been through.
2. Abusive John (Sam leaves)
Sam says he's leaving. John says no and that if he gets away never to come back. Dean is tasked with keeping his brother from leaving. Dean let's his brother go. John doesn't like it. Maybe the alcohol got to him a bit more than he thought
3. College Sam and Suicidal Dean
Dean called at least once while sam was at college. (Suicidal Dean)
Sam's been in college for four years, the brothers haven't talked in two.
4. Bethesda
Pool of Bethseda
I have no plot but I love the Biblical story and it's right up the Winchester's alley.
5. Dream Dean's Suicide
Alt Dean killed himself. His family wishes they'd seen the signs.
Dean might have woken up but his mother and brother still mourn.
They really should have seen the signs.
6. Bobby - Faith
Sam calls Bobby to tell him about Dean dying.
7. Bobby + Dean (BUABS)
After "Born Under A Bad Sign" Bobby talks to Dean about some of the things Sam says. (Requested by @assassin-in-a-hoodie)
8. Suicidal Dean (BUABS)
Jo gave him so pretty heavy pills. Dean contemplates taking them all at once.
9. Flagstaff
Sam runs out on Dean. Dean thinks he's dead. Dean knows what his father will do when he finds. Dean wonders if it would be better if he was just dead.
After John gets home he wonders even harder.
(possibly a can divergence depending on my writing mood).

So I noticed this thing, a trend if you will, that if you were in love with Farkas from Skyrim you also love Danse in Fallout 4 and I mean, me too - I fucked off about 1/3 the way through Skyrim to marry Farkas and just get shinies from dungeons IDK if I ever got to the end of the game - but, guys, WHY IS THAT? What did Bethseda DO to our brains?! 🤔

Readerly Exploration 3
Due Date: 10.2.2019
Course Reading 1: Reading with Meaning Chapter 2, Debbie Miller - In September Part One, Setting Students Up for Success: The Structures and Routines of Workshop
Big Take Away: In order to create an environment in which students identify as readers, it is important to establish what a good reader looks like early on in the school year. This can be done very easily during reading workshops, and also throughout the day!
Nugget: I loved reading about the different benefits of reading aloud for both students and teachers. For students, reading aloud motivates the want to learn, extends oral language, and gives opportunities to connect new information to previously learned information. For teachers, reading aloud allows them to model thinking strategies, model fluent reading, model reading behaviors, build background knowledge, build community, enhance vocab, and share the love for reading and learning with students!
Course Reading 2: Reading with Meaning Chapter 3, Debbie Miller - In September Part Two, How Do I Know They Are Growing? How Do They Know They Are Growing?
Big Take Away: It is vital when teaching literacy that students have choice, agency, and the knowledge that they are constantly growing and learning new things.
Nugget: One of the activities that Miller had mentioned completing with her class really stuck out to me, and I definitely want to use it in my future classroom! When teaching about the different types and varieties of literature, Miller brought in all of the books from on her nightstand (this would work well for me because I currently have around 10), and showed students that she was currently reading magazines, nonfiction books, mystery books, poetry, and also the newspaper. During this activity, students can also learn about the varying levels of difficulty when it comes to text, and what they can read at their current level.
Readerly Exploration: Engage in the reading process to increase the likelihood of text comprehension + Before you read, learn something about the author of the assigned course readings and note how what you learned impacts your motivation and/or purpose for reading
When I first looked at the required readings for this semester, I knew immediately that for the readings assigned for today, October 2, I wanted to learn more about the author. I was very intrigued in knowing more about who wrote one of the main texts for this course, and because both of the readings were written by Debbie Miller, I decided this would be the perfect opportunity.
I first began looking for more information on Debbie Miller by simply googling (also, side note: I think it’s so funny how this has become an acceptable verb) the words “Debbie Miller.” In my search, I found multiple short biographies on her on websites such as Stenhouse Publishing, Choice Literacy, the Heinemann website, and even a short biography on Amazon. On most of these websites, I learned that Miller actually taught in Denver elementary public schools for over 30 years, making her highly qualified in my opinion to write Reading with Meaning. I also learned that she has written many other books, a short video series, and even was involved with the Denver-based Public Education and Business Coalition (PEBC). In addition to doing all of this, she even served as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver and Regis University. However, I wanted to know more, so I decided to check out her Twitter account!
Through combing through her series of tweets and retweets, I found that she also currently does a lot of work in elementary schools. Miller recently led demonstration lessons on teaching comprehension strategies that support student agency at Bethseda Elementary. She often visits friends who are teachers and will simply sit and read with students, and has also donated books to new teachers and their classrooms. This was the type of information I was hoping to find in my research of Debbie Miller.
Because I now know all of this additional information on Miller, I feel like her words in her text have so much more validity, truth, and even encouragement. Miller was in the shoes of the audience she is writing to for close to 30 years, giving her ample enough time to try all of the strategies that she suggests, to live through these experiences, and to learn how to encourage and motivate her students. I was greatly encouraged after doing this readerly exploration, and this will (perhaps) even motivate me to truly consider the majority of the strategies and even ways of organizing the classroom that Miller suggests in her books!
Multimedia Documentation: I’ve included some of the pictures that I found from Debbie Miller’s twitter account, which all coincide with the stories I mentioned. Also - her twitter handle is @millerread!

Among one of the most distinguished writers of our opportunity Claude McKay was birthed in Sunny Ville, Jamaica, British West Indies in September 15, 1889, as the youngest of eleven kids of his peasant moms and dads in Jamaica, Thomas Francis and also Ann Elizabeth (Edwards) McKay. Be sure to spend time looking into La Rambla, a tree-lined street consisting of residences, coffee shops as well as outlets, and brought to life by the mime artists, musicians, fortune-teller as well as road vendors who hang around there certainly. I feel so many individuals in the health and fitness center both newbies and also outdated timers simply don't recognize they are 1.) functioning inefficiently and 2.) managing a risk of harming themselves. The trip ends at either a coffee shop or even a pub, therefore you may continue with your resource or group in a discussion that fades away between the politics of street begging as well as the effects of gentrification on the East Side. When I scurry out of course as well as' Tokyo Urgent' plays in the background - some of numerous songs that signalize down time in the activity - I regularly feel like a startup, ready to take advantage of Tokyo's attractions and also sounds. Athens is actually the magic capital area in Greece which had actually enjoyed through The lords and also people along record. Price quotes placed the group participation at in between 800 and also 1,000 group members; several hundred various other citizens, nevertheless, utilized the interruption for private increase in looting The Bowery place. Mettic’s OFFICIAL VIDEO GAME AWARDS for TWENTY SEVENTEEN
Because my opinions are IMPORTANT
GAME OF THE YEAR:
PAPER MARIO THE THOUSAND YEAR DOOR
this game still kicks ass baby!!!!!!
GAME THAT SWINDLED ME OF MY MONEY THE HARDEST:
FATE/EXTELLA
You know honestly I was enjoying this game a fair amount when I was playing it. It’s a musou but sometimes you just need some musou in your life. Plus I enjoyed the sort’ve macro aspect of the game, and some characters with fun gimmicks (li) or characters that actually had fun combos are were kinda wasted on a musou (Elizabeth) but whatever.
but ultimately an enjoyable enough gaming experience goes immediately into the trash because wonderful japanese game UI devs decided that it’s a good idea to put the “delete save file” button right next to the “exit game” button and I, in a misclick, lost 30~ something hours of gameplay so honestly fuck this game.
i also bought the heroine x dlc outfit for Saber, because I’m a complete fucking idiot tool, only to find out that saber isnt actually a character in the main story, and her side story is shortest of all the side stories in the game and took me like 15 minutes to clear. I probably deserve this for buying costume dlc tho
GAME I WAS MOST DISSAPOINTED BY:
WOLFENSTEIN 2
well while I definitely think its probably one of the best video game stories of the year, maybe the best idk if I think it’s better than nier i’ll sleep on that, with some really great setpiece moments, the game itself honestly hit a point where it felt more frustrating than fun to play because of just awkward game design choices. The fact that basically all the enmies in the game where hitscan enemies, with even the projectile enemies having projectiles so fast they might as well be hitscan, combined with the game’s “reinforcement system” (not a real system name just one im calling it cuz i guess that makes sense.) lead to a lot of scenarios where I just get killed by a hitscan enemy who literally spawned behind me. Combine this with a lot of weird things like the game’s HORRIBLE damage feedback and the fact that you cant even see 80% of the item pick ups makes the game just really annoying, and it’s honestly disappointing coming off wolfenstein TNO and Doom 2016 which didnt have any of these issues, and i hate that the game with the best story of bethseda’s “classic fps re imagining” projects is also the worst gameplay wise.
yeah and modern politics in my VIDEO GAME bro haha!!! dont want no modern times in my games!!
GAME THAT REMINDS ME THAT I’M A COMPLETELY INEPT IDIOT WITH SQUARES FOR HANDS THE BEST
TEKKEN 7
I still cant do gigas’s BNB which is literally just D2 / F2 1 / F2 F1 / dash / DF 1+2 because I swear to god I got brain damage or something.
GAME THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT
NIER AUTOMATA
i’m sorry pascal
MOST BUSTED SHIT IVE SEEN IN A VIDEO GAME THIS YEAR BECAUSE I LOVE POWER GAMING.
ZENOBIA (XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2)
WHAT THE FUCK? INCREASED DAMAGE AGAINST UNIQUE ENEMIES, BONUS DAMAGE FOR EVERY ENEMY IN THE FIGHT, BONUS DAMAGE ON ENEMIES HIGHER LEVEL THAN YOU? NOT ONLY THAT HER LEVEL 3 BLADE ART ALSO DOES EITHER BONUS DAMAGE AGAINST HIGHER LEVEL ENMIES OR UNIQUES. CANT REMEMBER WHICH BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER. I USED HER LEVEL 3 ART IN A CHAIN ATTACK ON THE FINAL BOSS AND IT STRAIGHT UP DID LIKE A THIRD OF THE BOSSES HEALTH. WHAT THE FUCK.
BEST FLYING IN A VIDEO GAME.
TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON
Okay this game came out in 2010 or something but i played it this year and if you want a game with good flying mechanics play this game. I cant really explain it that well because i’m not very smart but this game just feels so good on the flying transformers chapters. I love being able to switch from the complete helicopter-ish level of control (which even on its own is better than any helicopter segment in any game ever) to jet fighter NO CONTROL BUT HIGH SPEED on the on the fly (haha). Combine this with being able to switch between flying to third person shooter mode on command as well and it’s so awesome. I’d love to play a whole game of just the flying transformers level.
It felt pretty good in Fall of Cybertron too but you only get to be a flying transformer for half of a level in the single player. never got th play online.
there really isn’t a joke here or anything I just want to gush about how some transformers game managed to perfectly nail flying in as a gameplay mechanic.
CUTEST GIRL OF THE YEAR:
MORAG (XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2)
I LOE YOU MORAG
WORST GAME OF THE YEAR:
STILL AND YET IT MOVES
I’m not even giving this game the respect of a picture of its cover art. fuck this game. i got it from a humble bundle that i literary traded tf2 weapons or something with a friend for and i still feel like i payed too much.
GO PLAY PAPER MARIO 2

2 Samuel 13:1-39, John 17:1-26, Psalms 119:81-96, Proverbs 16:6-7
Today is the 28th day of May. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's good to be here with you around the global campfire as we come in out of the chaos of the world and warm ourselves in its light. And just allow the Word of God to wash over us. And speaking of the chaos of life, King David has some chaos within his family and we're about to enter into that story. 2 Samuel chapter 13 today. We're reading from the Common English Bible this week.
Commentary:
Okay. So, we encounter something terrible in the Old Testament and something beautiful in the New Testament. So, let's just dive in and talk about it for a second. So David has an affair, right, with a married woman, Bathsheba, who happens to be the wife of Uriah the Hittite and was one of David's top thirty most loyal warriors. A colossal misjudgment. That brings Nathan the prophet who tells David he's going to have problems from within his family as a result of this and that is pretty much exactly what we see playing out here. Amnon, David's oldest son, has lustful desires for his half-sister Tamar, which results in his rape of her. Probably because she wasn't a willing participant, he throws her out. So, he has deeply shamed her. And when her brother Absalom finds out about it, he tries to comfort her, asks her to keep quiet about it for now, but this obviously broke her. And two years later justice was served. Absalom had made a plan and Amnon was killed. And then Absalom is on the run. So, he's in Geshur. He's back in the kingdom of his grandparents. And, ironically, Geshur is up in the Galilee region and would later have a different name, Bethseda, a place where Jesus ministered. So, yep, we can say the prophecy of Nathan came true. David's family is in turmoil. And here's the thing about this story. It is a horrible story. It is in the Bible because it's a horrible story and we're supposed to wrestle with it. But in wrestling with it, there is no way to overlay a 21st century cultural view on top of a thirty-five-hundred-year-old story, right? So, when I hear of the rape of Tamar and I consider it in the world that I live in, I'm outraged over this like we all would be. Like we all are. And, so, who do we look to? We look to David. He's their parent. He's Tamar’s father. Where is he in this thing? Why isn't he rushing in to rescue her and set things right somehow and where are the wheels of justice on this train? We have to peel that back and enter into the time that they are living in, which leads us to hot buzzwords like patriarchy, which is fundamentally ordering a society though a patriarch. So, there is the oldest man in a family, he's the patriarch, his first born son will be the next in line, his first born son will be the next in line, so on and so forth. Which essentially means that the males held the primary power in the society. And so we can get lost in a quagmire because we can get distracted and we can think, okay, well this story brings up all the things that we should be talking about today. This is a very, very old story that has been talked about in different ways over the last three thousand years. So, all that there may be plenty of things that need to be talked about, that is not the point of this story. The point of this story is a continuation of what David did. When David had this affair with Bathsheba, as much as there might have been a glossing over of the whole situation, everybody knew what happened, especially David's family. And this obviously eroded his authority. He lost respect. And we don't have every little detail of this story. We don't know what's going on in David's mind. He might be thinking of self-protection because how many scandals can the kingdom handle? Or he might have been following his advisors? We don't know. The point is that Nathan told David in advance that his family was gonna come unglued, that the problems that he was gonna face were gonna be from within. And this is what is happening. And we're not done with Absalom. Absalom served what he felt was justice, which was the killing of his brother Amnon, who had raped his sister Tamar. So, we could say ultimately Amnon didn't skate by free. He was assassinated for what he did. But David's problems are not over. Absalom had lost complete respect for his father. Now he's estranged from his father and we'll see where that story goes. So, I'm not justifying the rape of Tamar. I think it's horrible. I think rape or sexual assault of any kind is horrible. I also happen to think that adultery is horrible, and that was the first step in the process of the story that we are telling right now. And if patriarchy is your hot political button right now, look, we've come a long way in the last thirty-five hundred years and we have a long way to go. We're in process. I'm not advocating this and I would wager that the Bible is not advocating this either. If we go back thirty-five hundred years, this is how the world works. So, we can make judgements from thirty five hundred years later and that's fine, but it's not the point. That's how the world was, including slavery and all kinds of things that we would consider not a part of our society and not helpful in any way to humanity. That's how things were. So, to try to wash over and not just enter into the story in a time how things were makes us back read a bunch of stuff that isn't there. In fact, I would wager that the Mosaic law in terms of things like slavery and patriarchy were a dramatic move forward in the world in comparison to the cultures that were in the surrounding areas at the same time. So that was then, this is now. We've come a long way since then. We're in the process of restoring this world, but that's what we are here to do. We're here to collaborate with Jesus as his hands and feet in this world to restore Shalom to this planet. Wholeness. A peace. But it's never gonna come to the world until it comes to us individually.
Which brings us to the book of John, where Jesus is praying what is known as his High Priestly prayer and he's praying it over his friends. And he's praying it over us. Jesus said, I'm not praying only for them, speaking of his disciples, but also for those who believe in me because of their word. That would be us. When Jesus says, I pray that they will be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you , I pray that they also will be in us so that the world will believe that your sent me. I've given them the glory that you gave me so that they can be one just as we are one. I'm in them and you are in me so that they will be made perfectly one. Then the world will know that you sent me and that you have loved them just as you loved me. Okay, so that's where this is all headed. That we'd have oneness with one another, oneness with Jesus who had oneness with the Father. Union. A place where there is wholeness and completeness and peace. So, we can judge David and his passivity from three thousand years ago, but we have to look in the mirror too because are we experiencing that oneness and that wholeness? Can we experience that oneness and wholeness with anyone, including our spouse, all of the time? Okay, well then there is still some work to do. We've done a lot of work moving forward in a lot of ways in the last several millennia. We've also made colossal mistakes over the last several thousand years as humanity. We're still in process. We're still working it out. We're still making mistakes. We're still restarting things. We're still in process. But we have the prayer of Jesus our Savior over us, asking God to make us one just like the Father and the Son are one. But that can't happen unless we are in Christ and live into it, actually live that out. That is how all of the stuff that outrages us gets eradicated from the world. So, if we want to judge their society than we can. If we want to judge our own, well then, we have to include ourselves by at least asking ourselves, what am I doing to restore Shalom into my home, into my workplace, into my neighborhood, into my church community, into my town, into my nation, into this world? Am I so self-absorbed that the universe revolves around me and everything really is about what's happening to me? Or am I getting down on my knees and washing the filth from the feet of my brothers and sisters? Am I remaining in Jesus’ love by obeying him? No matter what story we enter into in the Bible and no matter what kind of reaction we have to it, at the end of the day, the more that we ponder, the more that we zoom out, the more that we gain proper context which is so vitally important in anything, the more that we find the whole thing becoming a mirror and everything bouncing back into our lap and asking us, what am I doing about it? How am I participating in bringing Shalom? How am I participating in revealing the kingdom of God upon this earth? What am I doing to reflect the glory of the Lord upon this earth?
Prayer:
Father we invite You into all of that. We invite You into whatever the Scriptures bring up just about every single day because we need You. And everyday we are made aware. We are reminded that we have a role to play in all of this. And so we pray along with You Jesus, make us one. Make us one that we may be in You as You are in the Father. Come Holy Spirit we pray. In Jesus name. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
This is Candace from Oregon. First and foremost, I want to offer my love and condolences to Vickie from Arizona and to your family in the loss of your husband. You said on a Wednesday, probably, almost the last Wednesday of May. I pray that God will come and I know He will for you. He is the husband to the husbandless and I know firsthand. Lord, bless Vickie and bless her family and all those who have lost this beloved person. And I just want to also be in agreement with Monica from Kentucky. Thanks, by the way, Monica, for just all your encouragements. But I want to add my agreement that while you need to be part of the church family, this DAB is part of that, but also one your own community, people that you, as she said, can forgive and do life together. And then agreeing with Brian Hardin when he said recently we ask for a bountiful harvest of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. Thank You Lord for everything You’re doing. Thank You for being so present and so faithful and true.
Hi. My name is Nonny. I’m 15. I’ve called before like when…I called before because I didn’t really have any friends to go through this with and I just want some more and I’m such __ I don’t know what to do. And I’m hurting so much and it’s hard to trust God when there’s just so much leaving you and there’s so much you’re losing. I don’t know what to do. And I know I have to trust Him but it’s hard. It’s really hard. That’s it. I just pray because I’m really struggling __. Thank you.
Good morning Daily Audio Bible family. This is Lee from New Jersey. Today is Friday, May 25th and today is day 24 of my prayer against anger. So, today’s prayer is a little different because it’s to praise God for a day without it, without anger. So, yesterday was one of those days. So, I want to praise God every single time. And of course, ask God to teach me what I need to learn those days that I __ up. So, Father thank you for a wonderful day yesterday Lord, a wonderful day, not a peaceful day Lord, but for a day that didn’t require anger or where anger didn’t show its ugly face. And yes, issues appeared, things needed to be resolved, and they were resolved without the use of anger, without the need of anger Lord. No boiling point. Nothing. I thank You for that Lord. I thank You for continuously blessing us and continuing to shine Your wisdom on us, that we may reflect Your wisdom in our daily lives with our families and everyone that we interact with on a day-to-day basis. Lord I ask that I die moment to moment Lord that I continuously die Lord to you, that I continuously forget who I used to be yesterday every single second Lord that I die instead of moment to moment, second to second Lord. That you continue to renew me every second of the day Lord. And we pray this in Jesus’ name. Family, also wanted to ask for prayer for our teenagers and technology, that they may fill their minds with more appropriate material - music, literature - because they are our future and, of course, they’re loading themselves up with popular culture and the music out there, stuff like that. So, just want to pray for that as well. Asking you all to pray for that. Of course, I know one of my brothers is praying for our children so add that to your prayer…
Hi Daily Audio Bible family. This is Jeff B. calling from Canada. Been listening now for just about six months and really appreciating the program. I’m visually impaired, so having Brian actually read it out loud…I don’t know…just faith comes by hearing…and it’s very powerful. So, thankful for that. Thank you, Brian and Jill for your ministry. Wanted to reach out. I go to Africa every year and I’m about to go on June 11th here. I’ll go for about a week. And what I do in Africa is, although we do a gospel festival, and a pastor’s conference, I personally reach out to government institutional and business leaders and we share…I bring a group of business and government leaders with me. We share business and value that way. But we also share our faith story and we lead leaders to the Lord. And it’s a powerful thing. It has an impact on the entire region because we get decision-makers and people of influence to come to Jesus. Every year before I go there’s obviously opposition. And, so, I’m just asking as a new community that I feel connected with, I’ve been praying for you guys over the last six months. I’m asking you to pray for me. And I will give you an update if I have a chance. And just want to again, thank you for the ministry. And have a very blessed day.

Jakari 5 GD Perspective's
The first perspective I read was about Peter Molyneux. He has worked on a lot of games that I’ve never heard of (other than Fable and Fable 2). His inspirations were about rpg games. At that time games where you could explore dungeons and customize your character were unheard of. Now there are many games like that (Fallout series, Skyrim both Bethseda games). He mentioned in his advice to gamers that if you can instead design a game that focuses on the main character and not the storyline you’ll do well as you progress. Warren Spector, a veteran game designer who has worked on many games (I only know Deus and Thief) was my second perspective. He had an interesting way of coming into the game industry working for a board game company at first. Nowadays that’s more so uncommon because people try to go straight into the digital realm. Spector also worked on Super Mario 64 and said that Miyomoto put in alot of content into the game. I found this interesting because at the time game weren’t as vast and Super Mario 64 was one of the first where it was vast and explorable. My third perspective was Sandy Petersen who worked on titles like (DOOM 1 and 2, Quake, and the Age of Empires series). He came into the game industry by accident according to him. In college he took a job being a writer for company and he ended up working for the company after college. This is interesting because usually writers are hired along the process way, and places don’t usually have in house people. His advice to gamers is to be able to make all games not just computer ones. This is very important because people tend to forget that anything in a game. Video games in just the most popular one but even physical games, board games, or card games classify as games. Lorne Lanning is the fourth perspective. He’s worked on the Oddworld series. He comes up with his games by doing research into topics that he’s passionate about, because the best games come from left field. I disagree with this because sometimes making something you’re super passionate about doesn't mean others are. Although it’s repetitive and boring it’s always a good idea to please the people and what they want. He also said that prototypes are important because you want to make sure that what you’re spending time on ends up being the best possible product. The fifth perspective I read is Marc Leblanc who worked on Ultima, Thief 1 and 2, Oasis, and Arrr!. He went to school and helped his friends he met there work on there game and he got into game designing. His advice to game designers is to have a critical eye for games, play many games, and learn how to code well. I agree that you should play many games so you have a broad span when it comes to be creative. Although coding in hard it is very important to know how if you plan on designing.

Far Harbor was an amazeballs DLC that almost has the main game outclassed, but it's a goddamn screaming and crying shame that Nick is the only companion who got additional voice lines because I feel like my pals Deacon and Danse would have A LOT to say about Acadia. Also, going to meet the Children of Atom like, oh hiiiiiiii former Enclave guy, this is my friend former Brotherhood guy - like, would that go well in any way? 🤔🤔🤔
And can you just, walk into the synth refuge with X6???? Like, I've never been out there with him but he's another one who would HAVE SOME THINGS TO SAY about Acadia. Probably that we should tell the Institute about all this, or "I am going to get a promotion to #1 Courser after reclaiming all these synths" but still, it's immersion destroying to have him have no comment.
Btw - I *know* Deacon's VA has definitely and publicly said he would love to reprise that role so I'm going to go with the assumption that Bethseda are hella cheapasses and that's why we didn't get the extra companion dialogue we deserve. Nick's VA already lives chained in Bethseda's basement and voices half the characters in their games anyway so they just dusted him off for Far Harbor lol.
