NCT Dream as OPM Songs
AN: This is written in filipino because the request is about Dreamies as Original Pinoy Music or OPM songs. So it's best to write it in filipino so that it's more meaningful and there's a lot of filo references too lol. (If you want an eng ver, just tell me! <3)
Mark Lee ; Tingin by Cup of Joe, Janine
'Di man alam ang darating Sa dulo at sa gitna ng dilim Sa liwanag mo nakatingin Sa 'yo nakatingin, sa 'yo lang ang tingin
Oo starting strong with Tingin by Cup of Joe kasi naman, this reminds me of Thomasian! Mark tapos nag-guest COJ last paskuhan. Kaya saktong-sakto talaga yung kanta!
Huang Renjun ; Paraluman by Adie
'Di magsasawa, 'di ka pababayaan Isasayaw kita hanggang sa walang-hanggan
It's either IKAW ang paraluman o si Renjun, it can be both.
Lee Jeno ; Mananatili by Cup of Joe
Pero iyon, bagay na bagay sa kanya ang Mananatili kasi the lyrics sounds like something he would do! Manatili sa iyo kahit ano man ang mangyari! Wala siyang pake kung uncertain yung nangyayari sa inyong dalawa, basta parang nabighani (NABIGHANI!?) siya sa iyo that night kaya he just wants to be by your side siguro hindi lang buong gabi, pwede bang panghabang-buhay na ito? HUYYYY Pero just imagine, just you and him, enjoying the moment with each other, not even caring about the people around.
Lee Donghyuck ; Fallen by Lola Amour
I'm okay with being by your side for as long as I can hide What if I told you that I've fallen
Shock factor talaga but at the same time, wala lang sa kanya yung sagot mo, all he cares is that he's fallen for you!! He doesn't need to know, basta gusto ka niya. period!
Na Jaemin ; Pasilyo by Sunkissed Lola
Sobrang Na Jaemin-coded eto!! Pati yung lyrics it screams Jaemin so much!! Parang the way the lyrics talks from the groom's pov about his future, parang si Jaemin talaga!! >:( Sobrang perfect niya maging groom at sobrang husband material pa HAYSTTT.
Zhong Chenle ; Ikaw Lang by Nobita
The vibe of the whole song just screams Chenle so much! Yung lyrics, yung assurance? sobrang Chenle-coded. Imagine friends to lovers with Chenle, tapos sobrang tagal niyo nang gusto ang isa't isa kaya naman once na naging kayo, may mga worries and anxieties, a lot of hurt and comfort pero dahil si Chenle ang boyfriend mo grabe yung assurance! He'll be always there for you and ikaw lang talaga ang kanyang mamahalin! Yung chorus talaga, :< imagine iyan sinasabi ni Chenle sa iyo just to assure you. :<<
Park Jisung ; Pagtingin by Ben & Ben
'Pag nilahad ang damdamin Sana 'di magbago ang pagtingin Aminin ang mga lihim Sana 'di magbago ang pagtingin
I belib in torpe! Jisung supremacy!! Pagtingin? oo that's soo Jisung-coded.

Character Playlist: Hayden Young
I realised this year that even though Hayden's was the first appreciation week I'd ever organised, I had never gotten around to creating my own playlist for them. And I've always had songs I associate with them...so I figured now would be the best time to compile them!!
Most of them deal with similar themes of self-discovery and love - both themes I find in abundance in Hayden's story. There are three foreign-language songs, for which I'll attach the translations - one Hindi, one French and one Japanese.
Tagging @haydenyoungappreciationweek and @sazanes for HYAW Day 1: Indescribable! Find the Spotify list here!
Tumblr media
On a Day Like Today - Bryan Adams
On a day like today the whole world could change
The sun's gonna shine, shine thru the rain
On a day like today no one complains
Free to be pure, free to be sane
In the Lap of the Gods (Revisited) - Queen
No beginning, there's no ending
There's no meaning in my pretending
Believe me, life goes on and on and
Forgive me when I ask you where do I belong
Indescribable - Olivia Broadfield
Too indescribable
I've got to think it over
When you kiss me like that.
Too indescribable
I've got a sinking feeling,
I don't like where this is at.
It's My Life - Bon Jovi
This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for faith-departed
And I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice when I shout it out loud...
All the King's Horses - Karmina
There is a reason I'm still standing
I never knew if I'd be landing
And I will run fast, outlast
everyone that said no...
Safar - Masala Coffee
Duniya ik kitaab, padhna hai pura
The world is a book; I will read every page of it.
Raahi hoon main hamesha...
I am a traveller, I have always been...
Nayi duniya nayi ruhan
New worlds...new souls...
Rahat har raah deti hai
Every road gives me solace
Safar hai takhti musafir ki
The voyage awaits its voyager
Manzil ki parwah kahaan...
Who cares where the destination is!
Lyrics and Translation
What was I Made For - Billie Eilish
Think I forgot how to be happy
Something I'm not, but something I can be
Something I wait for
Something I'm made for
Alone Part II - Alan Walker, Ava Max
We all need that someone
who gets you like no one else
Right when you need it the most
We all need a soul to rely on
A shoulder to cry on
A friend through the highs and the lows
I'm not gonna make it alone
anatomy - kenzie
It's just anatomy, you're only half of me
And still, you don't know me at all
You've been my missing piece, so why aren't you missing me?
Guess I meant less than I thought
(while the original context of this song was about the singer's feelings about her father's abandonment of their family, I thought the lines worked well for a Hayden thinking about a parent that didn't exist 😞)
Sun - Sleeping At Last
Our once barren world now brims with life
That we may fall in love
Every time we open up our eyes
I guess space, and time
Takes violent things, angry things
And makes them kind
I move mountains, day and night
Je danse avec le vent la pluie
I dance with the wind the rain
Un peu d'amour, un brin de miel
A little love, a bit of honey
And I dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance
Et dans le bruit, je cours et j'ai peur
And in the noise, I run and I'm scared
Est ce mon tour
Is it my turn?
Vient la douleur
Here comes the pain
Dans tout Paris, je m’abandonne
Throughout Paris, I abandon myself
And I fly, fly, fly, fly, fly
Lyrics and Translation
Then You Look At Me - Celine Dion
Day by day
I find my way
Look for the soul and the meaning
Then you look at me
And I always see
What I have been searching for
I'm lost as can be
Then you look at me
And I am not lost anymore
orion - Kenshi Yonezu
Even in dreams, my heart is somehow never at its best—
So don't bother worrying... about my grievances and tears.
Pulling a string from my unraveling sweater, I constantly tried to weave a constellation,
Using our fingers as the stars.
It ended up so terribly haphazard that we both had to laugh!
If you were truly there with me in that moment... that's more than enough
Lyrics and Translation
You Gotta Be - Des'ree
Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears
Go ahead, release your fears
Stand up and be counted
Don't be ashamed to cry

★ Sukhbir reveals how he, Salman Khan came up with 'Billi Billi Akh'!
Mar 2, 2023
Punjabi singer Sukhbir, who is known as the Prince of Bhangra and boast of chartbusters like 'Ishq Tera Tadpave', 'Balle Balle', is back with another track 'Billi Billi Akh' and this time, it's for a Salman Khan film - 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The song, video of which is set to release on Thursday, has an interesting story. The singer revealed that Salman came up with the idea for a wedding song and shared the same with him while the two were in Abu Dhabi.
'Billi Billi Akh' is an upbeat, peppy song, composed by Vicky Sandhu who's also written Punjabi lyrics, with the perfect blend of modern flair and Punjabi beats, features Sukhbir himself along with the entire cast of the movie, Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. Talking about how the song came into being, Sukhbir said, "I met Salman Khan in Abu Dhabi where he had requested a wedding/celebration song for his upcoming movie and that's when I sent him a couple of options. He loved all of them but especially fell in love with 'Billi Billi Akh' which was a Punjabi song and lyrics and that's how we started working on this Hindi version which was written by lyricist Kumaar and the music has been produced by DJ Dips and Supernova."
Sukhbir has been in the industry for over two decades now and commands a colossal fan following, his 'Ishq Tera Tadpave' song still rules the dance floors during wedding celebrations. Talking about his experience during the shoot with Salman Khan, the singer added, "My experience has been nothing short of simply amazing. I did not expect Salman Khan to be so hands-on when it came to every detail, he would call me to discuss lyrics and the musical bits, ask me to edit certain parts so that they make sense to the visuals of the song, and the best part was shooting of the video which was done in Mumbai". "He made sure everyone was looked after and I particularly enjoyed meal times with him as it gave us an opportunity to have one on one sessions to discuss the movie amidst many jokes", he added

Cheers to 17- 18th!
35 minutes before my legality. It's ending already. I'm scared, excited, shaking, anxious, all at once.
*12AM, June 25*
Happy Birthday, L! Sabi ko last month pa lang bago matapos 'yung school year, magsusulat ako para sa mga natitirang oras ko as a 17-year-old girlie, e. (Tangina parang mamamatay na ako ah?) Anyway, ayon, dahil mas umiral pa rin talaga 'yung katamaran, ngayong after birthday ako nagsusulat.
Senior. Seniorita as my last year as a highschool student. Binigyan kami ng heads ups, reminders, mga babala, and more on what to expect on our last year as SHS Tomasinos. Edi nag-anticipate na ako ng mga mangyayari, I even prepared myself because one of the things or words that strucked me the most from the speaker that talked to us was, "Creative Writing" and "Creating Non-fiction" which are all about WRITING. OO, WRITING - my worst and most exciting fear.
Fast forward, nag full face-to-face na kami. For almost three years, naramdaman ko ulit yung pisikal na pagod sa pagcocommute mula Ugong hanggang Blessed- ay hanggang UST na pala. It still feels surreal. Daming ganaps for real to the point na I can't even list them all kasi super mixed emotions ng senior year ko, and the past half months ng buhay ko. Ano ulit? Apologies.
Ano pa ba? Shet. Siguro 'yung umabot din ako sa buhay ko, for the first time in my life, na na-confuse ako sa orientation ko dahil sa isang tao. I mean, this is very inevitable and I'm not closing my doors sa pagiging gay, but I feel like hindi ko PA makita 'yung sarili ko sa same gender relationship. Maybe admiration lang talaga kaya ko.
Dami pa actually. Naging tanga sa pag-ibig na hanggang ngayon, fuck, when will I ever learn ba? EMZ. Uhm, playing 17 by Avril Lavigne non stop and setting it as "my song" kahit na I don't relate to most of its lyrics, basta ma-fit lang kasi nga 17 ako. Ewan. Masyado kong niromanticize pagiging 17 years old ko simply because ayaw kong mawala 'yung concept ng pagiging minor de edad ko. Well, the time's up and now I'm entering my adulting age.
Basta to summarize this all, I am really, and will be forever grateful for all the experiences, people, life lessons that I've learned in my 17th age and I'm really looking forward sa pag-uumpisa ng aking adulthood. I really hope that the next following years of my life treat me the way that I deserve, like what my one treasured friend said to me that made my heart touched and melt. I will really miss you.
Anyway, cheers to 18th, L! I really wish you all the best and please make good choices in life kasi tangina 'di ka pusa na merong siyam na buhay tulad nina Vivi and Hype. Bitch isa lang buhay mo. ISA LANG. Always aim for progress and please do not be hard on yourself anymore. I'm really begging and on my knees right now.
For the last time, Happy Birthday, L! Be happy. Be strong. Maging maganda palagi at ibalik ang alindog :)
L.

Do you remember what the first Hindi song you listened to was? Do you still listen to it? Did it inspire you to study the language further, or did you ignore it at the time? Spill the musical beans.
Oh, this is an interesting one. The first Hindi film I watched purposefully - as in I made a conscious decision to watch an Indian film not necessarily thinking of its language (in the beginning I watched a mix of South Asian films - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu etc. not really understanding the difference until a bit later) was Daawat-e-Ishq (2014).
I was completely blown away by the aesthetics and whole concept of there being a film with songs in it without it being a musical in the Western sense (Moulin Rouge (2001) was the previous film that swept me away back in the day and that’s a whole another story).
Seeing the song Shayarana on the film had me baffled, how can there be so talented people that look so beautiful - to me it seemed that they can do it all, act, dance, and sing too.
That bubble was burst soon enough when I learned about playback singing but instead of taking anything away from my experience it increased my fascination when I started realising how big and complex productions South Asian films must be and how much talent is included especially when there are numerous song and dance numbers in a single film. I mean there are some Western actors and actresses I appreciate as talented in their craft but there are very few I can even imagine to do an Indian style dance number with a straight face let alone with anything close to the grace required in the more classical style numbers.
Anyway, the point is not to compare the art per se but to highlight my amazement of this whole new world of South Asian cinema I had had no idea existed (well I had seen Marigold (2007) ages ago but back then my reaction was more like ‘meh’ and to be honest it’s just not that good of a film so not the best introduction anyway).
My favourite song of Daawat-e-Ishq was and still is Mannat and I remember it being the first song I searched from YouTube as a lyrical video. To me the lines of the chorus:
मेरी मन्नत तू, तुझ को है तुझ से माँगा
मेरी मन्नत तू, तुझ को है मौला माना
Merī mannat tū, tujh ko hai tujh se māṅgā
Merī mannat tū, tujh ko hai maulā mānā
They sounded like an incomprehensible chant where I struggled to separate the words from one another. I listened to it on repeat until slowly I was able to untangle the sounds in a way that I could sing along - not understanding a single word - and it was such a brain rush.
I remember watching this film maybe three times quite soon right after I had seen it the first time and it’s soundtrack was the first I downloaded on my then iPod (may it rest in peace). I enjoyed it a lot and I was worried that the next Indian film I’d watch wouldn’t be as nice and it would sort of jinx it for me - I really really wanted there to be more similar films. I had little idea of the volume of Hindi cinema at that time. After I took the leap and watched Jab We Met (2007) next, there really was no going back for me.
My language studies started seriously only a couple of years later, but by that time I had gathered such a robust vocabulary of strands of hair blowing in the wind, rain, heart beats and infatuation from hundreds of film songs that I felt miles ahead of my course mates on the Hindi beginner’s course I attended.
Thanks for the ask, this really took me years back!

tagged by @white-light-on-my-prism, thank u so much for tagging❤️❤️
name: aadya (she/her) pronounced as aa-the-ya
birthday: 16th november
zodiac sign: scorpio here , don’t know much abt the connotations regarding this but we’re supposed to be like very dark feminine bold people (which is sooo not me lol)
hobbies: umm well first would be reading love books mostly fiction (and since i’ve gotten obsessed with football any and all fanficition related to that😅) , then baking is a great stress released for me plus kinda into sketching and mandala art.
favourite colour: don’t really have a preference but love any and all shades of purple
favourite book: aahh this is sooo difficult i genuinly can’t choose but i’ll just tell the last book i was obsessed with- “The Atlas six”. it’s so good i just love the writing and the characters plus it’s fantasy so my fave genre so practically to die for. still haven’t read it’s sequel but very excited
last song i listened to: “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under ocean blvd” - in my lana era currently so obsessively listening to any songs by her. also the lyric love me until i love myslef so beautiful 🫶
last movie i watched: it was a hindi movie “sonu ki tittu ki sweety” uhh can’t give a direct translation but it’s such a great movie best hindi comedies fr and probably watching it for the 10th time. 10/10 would recommend
something that helps people: uff terrible at advice but i’ll try best, one thing that has been important in shaping me as a person is that overthinking is the biggest barrier u can put on yourslef as a person. obsessing over every detail will only result in hate so just let loose and be spontaneous at times.
meaning behind my url: so as i mentioned love books a lot and one of my fav book series is the shadowhunters series and in that there’s this character emma carstairs who is obsessed with swords so - emma carsword(yes i was trying to be witty🙂)

six recent song favorites
I was tagged by my lovely tumblypal @theinfinitedivides for this tag game! (this is my first time actually doing one, the first time tumblr sadly ate my post, so I hope this time goes better!!) I do in fact have an online music listening profile wherein you can see me listen to an instrumental theme tune for hours on loop but I'd rather keep that to myself at the moment 🙂. I tried my best to narrow it down.
first let me figure out how to make the words tiny... there we go
cumbia del monte fuji by frente cumbiero and minyo crusaders --- I love cumbia. I don't know a lot about specific cumbia artists but I know that I love listening to it. I came across this song in particular whilst listening to the "cumbia colombiana" playlist on Spotify and at it took me a while to realize this wasn't in Spanish- it's in Japanese! I love how intercultural it is. minyo crusaders have a whole cumbia album with frente cumbiero!! I want more of this cultural music salad.
it's all over from dreamgirls --- I believe this is technically a little bit of a cheat here as I really love the song sequence that this is a part of: "driving down the strip", "it's all over", "and i am telling you i'm not going". specifically, the transition from "it's all over" into "and i am telling you" is simply marvelous. it's a really sad part of the show, but my GOODNESS is it a way to end act one. anyone that plays effie white truly gets a moment to shine in both of these songs and "it's all over" is a wonderfully climatic ensemble number.
jhoome jo pathaan & pathaan's theme --- besharam rang my dear I love you but I cannot continue being sneaky with these songs. I will be honest, jhoome jo pathaan had to grow on me, but I love it now! I especially love singing along to exactly one line in the song (yes, it is jhoome jo pathaan meri jaan and then I mumble through the rest of it). when i listened to pathaan's theme I was surprised that I could understand it as the entire song was in English! it goes so hard, as the kids say and is extremely cinematic. it reminds me of the theme from dhoom 2 (because dhoom 2 is the only other hindi action movie I've seen... oooops) but also because of the English prominence and how fun the songs are in general. it then got me thinking about pathaan the musical but I don't know how well an action musical would work onstage.
why'd you come in here lookin' like that by dolly parton --- i was first made aware of this song by watching a drag race lip sync but i recently rediscovered this song on a lesbian spotify playlist. it's so fun! it gives me gender euphoria. i love dolly parton. I just can't listen to 9 to 5 too much because i was on the costume crew for that show. i love how bouncy the song is. now, is the story the lyrics are telling a bit strange? yes! but we're having fun :)
pop? pop! by csr --- cute kpop my beloved!!! i am glad it has kind of made a return through csr. i missed it. I miss weird k-pop in the vein of crayon pop and orange caramel. i can't wait for csr to release more songs as the others they have out really do capture the feeling i have been missing from these newer generations.
brimful of asha by cornershop --- this is a bit more of an older recent favorite but this is also a nice song and introduced me to cornershop. i like the niche of music that they fill, and yes- this song is named after asha bhosle! i love the specific feeling felt by this song, the environment it inhabits, and what music means to those listening to it and the authors of the song.
tagging: @ibn-e-batuta @doodlesofthelastpage @notbroadwaybound @seventhefurbfather -- please don't feel pressured to participate, only do this if you want to <3

Pagglait Film Review
Tumblr media
Madness is sometimes a necessary part of life
Tumblr media
Image of Sanya Malhotra Lead in the Reviewed Film Plot: In the film, Sandhya, a young widow, is the subject of this movie. Five months after their marriage, their spouse passes away. She gains knowledge about how to manage her family. One day, out of nowhere, she noticed a picture in her husband's armchair. Who owns that picture? She begins to despise her consort after witnessing it. In her name, her spouse also obtained insurance worth fifty lakhs. For it, she gets a check. Will she leave the house to deliver a fifty-lakh check? Will she become less hateful of an espoused person? Or is she going to get married again? Will she and her parents go back home? You will need to watch a movie in order to respond to all of these questions. Theme: The Black Comedy/Drama Theme serves as the basis for this movie. In addition to this, it can be regarded as a quality parallel cinema production. However, in addition to providing entertainment, a film's goal is to spread a social message. Will women be able to freely consider their lives in our society? Will they be forced to conform to the will of a male-dominated society? Do women have to submit to men all the time? Acting and Characters: Sanya Malhotra's portrayal of Sandhya is excellent. Her ability to blend all the emotions—crying, laughing, pain, loneliness, anger, jealousy, and so on—is superb. Despite having a small part in Aakansha's role, Sayani Gupta's acting is impressive. She first lost her partner, and by not getting married, she effectively conveyed her anguish through her facial expressions. Sandhya's closest friend, Shruti Sharma, has additionally a fantastic job portraying Nazia. Sheeba Chaddha and Ashutosh Rana, who played supporting parts, both displayed facial expressions of their sorrow at losing their son. They kept that hurt in their hearts and never even told anyone how they were going to pay back the loan. Additionally, Raghuveer Yadav had strong acting abilities. Writer/Director: Umesh Bisht was the director of this movie. His first Hindi film is this one. He is in total command of the movie. His portrayal of a black comedy drama story, including how and how the characters tell it, is excellent. Furthermore, he was able to get exceptional performance out of the characters. Story and Screenplay:written by the director, who has total control over it. Powerfully, and it maintains audience interest. Nobody can predict what will happen next because of how strongly the characters are written. Dialogues: The film's dialogue is funny and has a great sense of humour. Cinematography: Rafey Mahmood's cinematography is exceptional, and Lucknow's has been shot beautifully.Everything has been expertly filmed, including the Ganga river scenes and the aerial shots. Editing: “There are no obstacles, and it's very clean.” The movie moves along at a decent clip, and the scene changes are superb. Background Score: It wasn't too bad. Production Design: An old house expertly designed. The Sound design is also magnificent. Music: Arijit Singh is directing music for the first time with this movie. Aside from this, the songs, such as “Thode Kam Ajnabi” and “Fire Fakira,” are well-made. Lyrics: Nilesh Mishra's songs have good lyrics. Climax: The filming is excellent. Viewpoint: Suggested for a Single View! (Those who enjoy watching unusual films.) Social Message: Girls are entitled to live their lives as they see fit and make the changes they desire. It is also impossible for the male-dominated society to force its will on her.  Appreciation: Sanya Malhotra's acting in this movie, has received a lot of praise from the gifted actress Kangana Ranaut. Facts: The scene where the grandmother rings the bell has turned into a perfect comedy moment. Film fare Award Nominations: This film can get nominations in Best Actress, Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay. Exploring the Musical Brilliance of Wajah Tum Ho
Bollywood has a timeless relationship with music, and the 2016 thriller Wajah Tum Ho is no exception. Known for its intricate storyline and suspenseful twists, the film also gained recognition for its mesmerizing soundtrack. This movie has one of the best Hindi songs. Each song in the album resonates deeply with listeners, blending classic melodies and modern vibes. Let’s take a closer look at the songs that made this movie musically unforgettable.
Tumblr media

Discover 5 Must-Hear Underrated Artists
Do you ever find yourself bored with the same old tunes on the radio? Or maybe you're tired of listening to the chart-toppers that everyone seems to be raving about. Well, fear not! In this blog, I am going to introduce you to five incredibly talented but underrated artists that you absolutely must listen to. So, let's dive right in and explore these hidden gems in the music world.
Tumblr media
The Local Train
Let's kick things off with The Local Train, a rock band hailing from New Delhi. Formed in 2008, this band is all about capturing the experiences of today's youth, often blending Hindi and Urdu seamlessly in their songs. Comprising members Raman Negi, Paras Thakur, Ramit Mehra, and Sahil Sarin, The Local Train has released two albums filled with amazing tracks that range from rocking anthems to slow, soul-soothing melodies.
One of their standout tracks is "Aaftab" from the album "Vaaqif." This song, with its slow and moving rhythm, has the power to stir your emotions, leaving you unable to resist hitting that replay button. If you're looking for more, give songs like "Choo Lo," "Vaaqif," and "Aaoge Tum Kabhi" a listen.

Anuv Jain
Anuv Jain may have been a singer for some time, but it was during the lockdown that he decided to go full-time, and we're glad he did. His music is dominated by acoustic sounds, with lyrics that resonate with emotions we all can relate to. In Anuv's words, "It's nice to see how people have liked my music, and more people are listening to it."
One of his tracks, "Mishri," reached over a million streams on Spotify. This slow and lyrical song is bound to tug at your heartstrings with its extraordinary lyrics. For more of his soulful tunes, try "Alag Aasmaan," "Baarishien," and "Riha."
Advait
Advait is perhaps the most underrated artist on our list. This musical maestro blends English and Hindi in his songs, creating haunting, slow, and stirring melodies. One of his remarkable tracks is "Tu Hain Kahaan," which incorporates elements from the soundtrack of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." It's truly an amazing piece of art.
Advait's songs are like your best-kept secrets, those pieces of music that you don't want to share with anyone because they are your personal gateways to peace and warmth. Dive into his enchanting world with songs like "Befikar," "Manzile," and "Main So Gaya Hoon."
Prateek Kuhad
You might have heard Prateek Kuhad's name after his song "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan" featured in the movie "Baar Baar Dekho." However, this independent artist deserves much more spotlight than he currently has. His album "cold/mess" caught the attention of former US President Barack Obama, who listed it in his favorite music of 2019.
In 2020, Kuhad made history as the first Indian artist to sign with the American record label Elektra Records. His music effortlessly combines Hindi and English, offering a mix of slow and pop vibes. Don't miss out on tracks like "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan," "Kahan Ho Tum," "Cold/Mess," and "For Your Time."
When Chai Met Toast
Our final discovery takes us to the picturesque landscapes of Kerala, where "When Chai Met Toast" emerged. This band's enchanting music came to my attention when I stumbled upon their song "Firefly" while searching for tunes by Owl City. The band was originally a duo consisting of Ashwin and Achyuth, and later, Pai Sailesh and Palee Francis joined the lineup.
Their songs predominantly feature English lyrics, sprinkled with a touch of Hindi and Tamil. With tracks like "Beautiful World," "Khoj," and "Believe," they've created a refreshing soundscape that will leave you hitting the replay button. Thanks to platforms like YouTube, we have the chance to discover this incredible indie band. Once you listen to their music, you'll find it hard to stop playing their songs on loop.

He acted in a unique and humorous manner. He has played his role in a distinctive manner. Tabu's performance in the dual roles of Anjulika and Manjulika is brilliant, tremendous, and wonderful. Only Tabu could have played this role with complete honesty. This role in the story must written specifically for Tabu. What a role she has played with such patience; she considered one of the best actresses in the Hindi film industry and has worked beyond her ability to play the role of a ghost. She can receive awards for her acting. Kiara Advani's performance as Reet is also good. Her role was short, but she gave it her all no matter what. Story-Screenplay-Akash Kaushik's is good; it moves at a slow pace for the first 30-35 minutes, but the screenplay is very strong; it was written after much thought. Dialogues: Farhad Samji and Akash Kaushik have written excellent dialogues that fit perfectly with each character. Music: Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi did an excellent job with some songs, including the title track, Hum Nashe Mein To Nahin, and Mere Dholna Sun. Background Score: Sandeep Shirodkar's is very scary; the audience feels connected to the film because of the background score; he has completely scared us. Cinematography: Manu Anand attempted to tell the story in a unique way by filming photography in the film; the coloring and lighting were also brilliantly done; the action sequences were also very well filmed; and the camera moments were filmed well in many scenes. Editing: Bunty Nagi has done it very cleanly; it's a little slow at first, but after 30-35 minutes, it picks up speed. And moves at the same pace until the end; the scenes are also timed to match the story. Choreography: Chinni Prakash, Rekha Prakash, Vijay Ganguly, Bosco-Caesar, and Adil Sheikh all performed well in each song. Rajat Poddar's production design is appropriate for the film's characters and story. Both palaces' sets are extremely well-made. Costume Design: Akki Narula, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, and Ankita Patel's are acceptable. Manohar Verma's action is appropriate for the film's genre. Mandar Kulkarni's sound design is excellent, and it sounds very much like the movie itself. Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics are also well-written.
