Someone please introduce this person to books

i have a brain problem that prevents me from understanding people who need so much specifically newly-released TV shows that they're upset by the prospect of going a few months without new ones being produced

like they could stop making video games and books today and I wouldn't notice until sometime in 2026. honestly if they'd stop making new video games for a while that'd be kinda convenient. everyone take a break and let me catch up. I still haven't even played Persona 5.

#also peak how dare you say we piss on the poor moment #OP stated they're the ones with the brain problem (in a joking manner) they literally did not accuse anyone else of having one #besides maybe if the shows you consumed weren't bland and shovelware media #then you'd actually find something interesting worth rewatching instead of this constant stream of meaningless new-same #also what a childish demand that all media is created specifically to cater to your very specific needs #and even if you end up bored when you are not constantly consuming media #it's not like this strike is going to last forever until you die #the whole THING about a strike is to inconvenience and make people aware of what they are taking for granted #you cannot expect convenience and comfortable continuation of your life during a strike #because then it is NOT a strike #it's literally the last resort of workers if THEIR very basic needs for survival aren't met #sorry to be harsh but modern media entertainment is NOT a basic survival need #having food on the table and a roof to sleep under is #so if YOU have any empathy whatsoever towards the striking workers #you will endure this inconvenience for as long as it takes that they can force the industry to grant them their basic survival
