I’d never in my life seen even the original top gun but then someone I’ve followed for years got really into TGM and Ive seen gifs and ficlets for months and was like alright fine I’ll watch them and I did maybe three? days ago and then was like “…what if I read some fics? Just to see what’s out there?” And I read like, what up bc it’s right at the top when you sort for kudos and then there was more and generally I don’t read WIPs (I'm far too impatient) but I wanted more and could not ignore the 82k words just sitting there staring at me, like you got me hooked. I finished what’s out of IBLBM in one sitting and have spent the following days reading so much sereshaw trying to fill that void. I’ve read some wonderful works thanks to you getting me obsessed with them and I’m also gonna have to reread IBLBM because I miss your version of them. There’s very little point to this ask except me wanting to tell you that even though I enjoyed the movie your writing is 90% of the reason I can’t stop thinking about them and I’m very excited to read more <3
