it's funny that present bel thinks xanxus is really cool (ha) when he is probably the one that knows him least out of all members...most of what he has learned about xanxus must 100% be from the others. bel joined the varia at 8 and xanxus got frozen that same year. i can’t see them bonding even a bit.

the varia definitely consistently talked about how much they adore and miss him while he was gone. they had vivid descriptions and strong expressions of their admiration....it was impactful and influenced bel to think very highly of xanxus too. certainly became someone he wanted to look up to.

#khr 0 #present bel out here saying that he thinks xanxus is a king (vongola 77) while xanxus barely knows him and has almost no impression at all #except maybe 'brat'#regardless of what was said about xanxus later though #bel must've been intrigued when they first met him already #he just exudes ambition and power
