i wonder if i can just not play the rest of the ace attorney games in english. itd take ages but if i finish the first one and then maybe one more in japanese that ive already done i might have enough comprehension to play the ones i havent played at all without losing too much. like i want to be able to pick up on all the nuances of characters and themes which i couldnt now but honestly this way might be better than continually getting pissed off at the translation choices

#being like 'lower intermediate' ? or something at a language is so weird cause sometimes youll be like i can read this #and i understand most of it im so actually capable of understandingvthis language #and then another time more than half the words are ones you dont know and the grammer doesnt make any sense and you dont get anything #but even when i do get like over half of the words and a basic idea of grammer i still miss out on lots #and ive got so many other commitments than learning japanese i dont know if ill even be continuing though i dont want to lose #what i have learnt and waste all that time and like i do want to know more #its so useless though i started it cause it was fun and i could do it as a uni elective but now honestly the only use id get often #is stuff like this and nothing serious at least i chose a language with lots of media i suppose
