My niece was listing the days of the week: Monday ,Tuesday, Wednesday etc and then said :"and then they start all over again! Monday Tuesday..."and went on for 3 rounds and I was like "wow this is just what life is", smiling through the pain.

#I'm glad we have days if u have days and week after boring week you're alive thanks but also why does society for most of us #is just the same day repeating forever and so many of us live like zombies or perfectly happy little soldiers?#today i heard two retired people in their 70s talking one had just retired and was shocked he had a life #he said i worked all day my whole life now i realised i have one. i have time i can do things I like?!there is more out there?#and the other said yeah now u can live ur life and it was almost dystopian and kinda sad #and people will say duh ofc it's normal it was always like this before it was worse some people don't even retire(my whole gen?!)#missing the point completely of a working life that consumes and uses people even when it's not necessary at all like the only purpose of #being alive and the only way out is through labour and ffs If u enjoy it or are a fancy content creator selfmade I'm not talking about u
