childe: i wanted to become an adventurer like my dad, so i ran away from home at 14 years old. however, i fell into the abyss instead. for three months, i was trained into becoming the perfect weapon by some swordswoman that i met there as she used my ambition for adventure and turned it into pure bloodlust. when i returned, it had only been three days and my father ended up enlisting me into the military to try to get the battlelust beat out of me, but i won and disappointed him, only to become one of the most feared people on the battlefield. most of my coworkers try to send me away because they literally can't stand being near me in caee i blow up and cause a scene.

shenhe: my mother fell ill when i was young and my father, out of his love for her, summoned what he believed to be a benevolent god who told him i should be sacrificed in exchange for my mother's life. i was labeled as a cursed child by him and he left me to be killed by that evil monster, but i managed to fend it off and was adopted by the adepti. when i returned, my mother died to the illness and my father hung himself for his actions. ever since then, i've been training with the adepti to keep my homicidal tendencies at bay. i have always felt separated from humanity due to how i was raised and feel little to no emotion because of the red rooes that bind me.
