Could I request S/O patching up Eula, Dehya and Navia's wounds whilst trying (and failing) to not blatantly stare/thirst for their muscles?
(Genshin Impact) Eula, Dehya, Navia, and Beidou's S/O bandaging them
Honestly, same.
Tumblr media
Eula is at first worried when S/O suddenly stops during their bandaging, and then resuming.
Until she realized where exactly they were staring.
Yes, her arm was injured, but that was no reason for S/O to stare at it as long as they did.
(Eula) "Where exactly is your mind wandering, S/O?"
(S/O) "U-Um...sorry, it's just...you're so strong..."
The wind is knocked out of Eula for a moment before quickly regaining her line of thought.
(Eula) "Hmph, to be a Captain requires great strength, both mentally and physically. Of course I am. Now, quit gawking, lest I do the same."
Nailed it.
...Wait a second-
Tumblr media
Dehya winces a little when the bandage is wrapped tightly around her arm.
(Dehya) "Ack! Damn that's gonna hurt in the morning. Anyways, thanks for-"
She then noticed that S/O was staring at her abs, then quickly looked away when they realized.
Dehya chuckles and rolls her eyes.
(Dehya) "Jeez, I'm glad to see where your priorities are when I'm bleeding over here-"
(S/O) "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to-"
Dehya ruffles their hair with a free hand.
(Dehya) "Relax, I'm just teasing. I'm flattered, S/O. Plus not like I exactly hide my muscles."
Tumblr media
Navia yelps in pain as she feels the bandage go around her wrist.
(Navia) "OW! I-Is it over?"
(S/O) "Yes, now I have to check your arm."
Navia pouts as she one finger taps against her Umbrella.
(Navia) "S/O, thank you for helping me but I assure you that...S/O?"
She noticed their grip stopped around her forearm as they continuously felt it up.
Navia grins and gently flicks their forehead with her other arm.
(Navia) "That is not how you check for injuries, mon chéri/ma chérie!"
(S/O) "R-Right! Sorry...um...your arm is really strong-"
(Navia) "Hah, of course they are! I got three guns you know!-OW!"
She tried flexing her arms before suddenly recoiling, making S/O remember what they were doing.
Tumblr media
Beidou hisses in pain as a bandage went around her leg.
(Beidou) "Crap, that's not good..."
(S/O) "You need to be more careful, Beidou. I know you're strong but...-"
Beidou looks a little guilty about making S/O worried about her.
(Beidou) "Sorry. I'll be a little more careful next time."
(S/O) "..."
(Beidou) "...S/O?"
They were staring at her legs, which made her laugh heartily.
(Beidou) "Gee, how romantic."
(S/O) "A-AH! Sorry, I didn't mean to just...I knew you were toned but-"
(Beidou) "I'm a sailor, I gotta be. But, I'm glad you approve at least, since you were staring at 'em that long."
S/O sighed as Beidou playfully nudged them.
(Beidou) "It's nothing that you haven't seen before in my quarters anywa-"
(S/O) "BEIDOU!"

"𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩" 𝐈𝐧 𝐀 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞
Relationship: Diluc Ragnvindr/Gender Neutral!Reader Synopsis: Diluc doesn't seem to like the ex-pirate who visits Angel's Share all that much, but he'll change his mind soon enough. (600 words)
Tumblr media
Everyone working for the Dawn Winery didn't know what to make of you for the longest time.
You were becoming a new regular in Angel's Share, though you never bought alcoholic drinks for yourself. Instead, you'd go out of your way to pay Charles extra with specific instructions. You'd buy yourself a glass of wolfhook juice, pay for the next customer's shot— without batting an eye on the price tag, mind you— and then request to keep the glass bottle left behind. The staff would find you chatting up whoever was lucky enough to have their 1L pain reliever paid in full. There had been rumors that you once worked for Beidou from The Crux, so there's no wonder where you received the fortune.
There's also this tiny fact that you enjoy staring at the owner a lot.
If you want to be more charitable for troubled folks, there are better ways to go than paying for their drinks. Therapy is a better start; at least, that's what the Master believed. Despite profiting off your dubious goodwill, he wasn't fond of the execution. Diluc was under the impression that you find a twisted sense of pleasure in watching others poison themselves slowly. A hypocritical line of thought coming from the owner himself, so he has yet to voice them out loud. On the other hand, Venti doesn't think you're any cause for concern. The archon even implied you were an artisan— an attribute that confused Diluc even more.
"Is Master Diluc here?" Venti chirped, one foot inside the tavern while the other hovered outside in case he caught everyone in a sour mood (which isn't a rare occurrence on his end).
Diluc pinched the bridge of his nose. It was far too early for him to open the tavern, so he was the only one occupying the ground floor. He didn't look at Venti, instead his eyes were on last month's payment logs.
"What do you want, bard?"
Venti's face lit up as he marched forward. "I knew you would be too busy this festive season, so I bought you something from (Y/n)'s stall at the recent art fair!"
"(Y/n) sold something?" Finally, the jaded businessman met his gaze. He doesn't attend those. They were more or less Kaeya's scene than his.
"Not just sold— they literally sold out pretty quickly, actually!" Venti grinned, chuckling to himself. "Here's yours, open it!"
...
"A... vineyard in a bottle…?"
"Yep! I heard (Y/n)'s hobby was to make ships in a bottle, but this time, they're very inspired by something— or someone— else." Venti nodded, giving him a quick and playful wink. "I guess you two have much more in common than you thought, huh?"
"Instead of emptying bottles, you were both born to fill them."
Diluc chuckled softly.
He gently took the ship on the box, inspecting it. Diluc must admit, he doesn't quite understand the meaning of every detail, but the colors of the miniature people alone reminded him of regulars and other Dawn Winery staff. The people held baskets of grapes, some positioned themselves for a picnic, and he swore he saw a version of Stanley drinking with Venti by the vines.
Diluc made a strangled and surprised noise when he saw a particular red-haired man hidden from plain sight, pouring what was quite possibly grape juice for the (h/c) haired person facing him.
"I suppose so." Diluc nodded, fondly gazing at the ship. "I suppose so."
Ah, so that's what those stares were for.
You were collecting bottles to make these.
Maybe you weren't so bad after all.

hmmm thinking about sex doll au kazuha. Or maybe like a kazuha and a scaramouche (harbinger line) living together. They’d bicker (?) but i’d be more like Scara complaining about lack of attention and kazuha just smiles and nods while grasping your hand ever tighter.
tw - unhealthy relationships, possessiveness, and implied nsfw.
it doesn't even have to be Harbinger!Scara, honestly. you could just be someone eager enough to have one of the few cross-collection pairs that, after realizing your Kuzuha might get a little lonely when you leave him at home, you're simply forced to bring home a brand new, top-of-the-line Wanderer to keep him company on the rare occasion you go out without your beloved companion droid. they're not an official pair like Yae Miko and Ei or Ninnguang and Beidou, but they look good together, and Teyvat's featured them side-by-side enough advertising to give fans the impression that they'd be getting their money's worth if they paid for a matching set. and, to be fair, they weren't wrong - there's nothing technically wrong with either of your bots.
it's just that there may have been some... oversight in the development process, some line of code that wasn't erased as thoroughly as it should've been. Kazuha's tried to explain it, tried to describe what it feels like to have the emotions attached to a memory but not the memory itself, but your Kuni (what you hastily renamed him when 'Wanderer' proved to be a little awkward on the tongue) refuses to comment on the issue and you never really grasped how a robot could have memories at all, let alone amnesia. all that's left is that knee-jerk aggression; a second of bared teeth with Kuni rests his hand on top of yours, a sudden quirk to Kazuha's easy smile when your attention shifts to Kuni. it's a mutual hostility, too. Kuni's naturally the type to pick a fight when he doesn't need to, but when it comes to Kazuha, he tends to carry himself with a sort of smugness, like he knows something the two of you don't. it's the most apparent when he has you at his mercy, when Kazuha's face is buried between your legs and there's no one to stop him from cupping your cheek and making you look at him - just at him - as he mutters something about forgotten pasts and avoidable tragedies you can barely hear over the sound of Kazuha's mouth working at you. as much as you wish he wouldn't be so greedy with you, whatever he says always does seem to make Kazuha that much more, uh, eager to please.
you can only really be thankful it hasn't gotten physical, yet. if you didn't know better, you'd think they were only ever a few seconds from tearing each other apart.

In the city of contracts, one might never sleep admidst the lights adorning the starry night. The milliths exhibit strong commitment to the protection of their people and, to some extent, their alcohol. Priorities vary, with some indulging in their duty while others drink to their heart's content. For example, a reckless young knight in training sneaks in the few dim alleys the town might provide, a risky task considering his bright red hair. However, this detail doesn't dissuade him from neglecting his duties and following his own sense of justice.
"I hope you got a good excuse for this one, you know. I'm running out of ideas to give Varka and Jean to save our badges."
The knight's face betrays little surprise as he observes the other man leaning on his shoulders. The redhead stares at his coworker and gives him a forceful shove, clearly irritated by his mere presence. The other knight raises his hands as to surrender, a quirky smile growing on his features.
Seizing the man by his collar, the redhead forcefully pins him against the nearest wall. One hand silences the sweet talker, while the other firmly grips the weapon's pommel at his belt. Despite this, the knight's focus remains fixed on the pair strolling past the concealed alley. Only when the target disappears from his view does the redhead shift his attention to the restricted man.
"If you're so afraid to lose your career, why do you keep following me ? Tell me Kaeya, is it funny for you to stick your nose in my business ?"
Kaeya, as he's called, emits a dry laugh before forcing himself out of the redhead's grip. He brushes off his shoulder pads and arranges his hair to his preferred style, tidy yet with a hint of wildness.
"I care about you Diluc, is that so hard to catch on ? You're the only family i have left. You know ? Your brother ?"
The red hair is quick to rectify the man.
"Adoptive brother."
Unfazed by the knight's irritable mood, Kaeya crosses his arms and nonchalantly toys with his nails. Diluc, rolling his eyes, shifts his attention to the pair he's been tailing. He silently curses upon spotting them entering one of the numerous restaurants lining the main street.
"Fantastic, just splendid. Now, either you willingly return to Varka and the Tianquan, or I'll simply knock you out and leave you here until I'm done."
"Or, I could help you get to the bottom of your self-assigned heroic mission, because I know troubles come when you get impulsive like that."
Diluc grunts in his breath, accepting the situation as it is, much to the patched eye knight's delight.

In the Liuli Pavilion, customers savored their meals in tranquility, engaging in cheerful conversations about their day and the latest gossip. However, an air of tension hung over the staff tonight. While some attributed it to the festivities taking place, little did they know that the luxurious VIP room, a privilege only accessible to a select few in Teyvat, had been reserved for the evening by one of the renowned harbinger.
Raising his wine glass, the ninth harbinger subtly toasts the occasion with his present partner. Sipping the drink, he places it meticulously on the table, ensuring his actions meet the standards of the person sitting across from him. As his lavender eyes gracefully meet yours, he can feel his smile growing fondly.
"Now that I think about it, you never gave me one of your intertwined fate, hum~?"
His comment makes you scoff in slight mockery, amused by his phrasing.
"You know very well that's not how it works."
Sadly for you, he isn't one to back down easily, he tends to lean more towards negotiation. Despite having performed numerous deeds for you, the unfortunate truth is that you've settled every debt owed to him. Your shared appreciation for fairness is a quality he respects. Even if he loathes the lack of any blackmail's materials he could use against you, it's very unlikely that he will take action to remedy this fact.
"Even if I generously provide the goods~?"
Setting aside your chopsticks, you emphasize your point. Normally, engaging in a debate with him would be enjoyable, but at the moment, you don't have the mind for such mental games.
"Pantalone."
Considering his personality, you should have known that such a small display won't faze him.
"[Name]."
You sigh and focus your attention on the meal he graciously covered for you. Though you could have easily afforded it, you appreciate the care. While savoring your food and avoiding prolonged eye contact, your pointed ear twitches at a sudden yet subtle sound.
"Is something disturbing you ?"
Glancing discreetly at one of the open windows, you reassure the man, hoping to lessen his keen interest in your every move. His meticulous gaze is bound to make you uneasy. It would be in your best interest to change the subject.
"A war is brooming."
The revelation doesn't appear to surprise the man greatly as he gestures for you to carry on.
"Hum ? And, what kind ?"
"I cannot see what the future unfolds, Pantalone, I'm no seer. It could be harsh, fierce or treacherous, I wouldn't know."
Chuckling, the man runs his finger along the rim of his glass before indulging in another sip.
"I'm gonna need more information, my dear. I'm afraid I can't do much with only an assumption."
Seizing your food in a more aggressive manner, you point your chopsticks towards the man's face.
"It's far from a possibility, it will happen."
Pantalone leans to eat the food held between your utensils with a rather teasing smile. He finishes his mouth while whipping any condiment that might have clung to his lips.
"Hm, quite salty if you want my opinion. Anyway, how come one who can't grasp the future like you, your words not mine, seems so convinced that a war will occur, hum~?"
As a way to turn back on him, you snatch a portion of his food directly from his plate. Deliberately savoring each bite at a slow pace, your resentful gaze remains fixed on his. You're not one who likes to share.
"I didn't know you could be childlike, it's quite cute~."
Clearing your throat, you refuse to get embarrassed by such words.
"As I was saying, I am sure it will happen because it concerns my kind."
As you finish your plate, you fold your hands together, creating a makeshift headrest. You catch the curious gaze of the harbinger as he gestures you to pursue.
"They have started to show an interest in this world. And believe me that it will get ugly once they come here. After all, Teyvat and its people are one of a kind."
Pantalone appears to think for a moment, his usual smile shifting in a subtle frown.
"I understand now the kind of problems such scenery could cause... What about you ? What would you do if- I mean, when the time comes ?"
You smile brightly, seemingly eager to answer this specific question. The man cannot help but notice the subtle glimmers of light shining softly around your head. While you may view it as an annoying flaw, he appreciates the element's reactions to your mystical presence. These manifestations are a giveaway on your feelings, making it easier for him to read.
He chuckles to himself while reminded of that one time steam literally came out of your ears.
"I already planned everything to the last minus detail, you don't have to worry about me."
Pantalone returns your smile and not so subtly extends his hand toward yours. He smoothly intertwines his fingers with yours, giving them a reassuring squeeze.
"Oh I'm not worried, I know you're capable~. I was merely curious if you would be more... open at the thought of fulfilling your role as a guide, especially in this context. After all, you still lack a main vessel, don't you ?"
You swiftly withdraw your hand from his grasp before standing up. Your gaze shifts to the open window where a little wick of red could be seen next to a soft looking lock of blue.
"Our time together was pleasant, but i'm afraid you'll have to excuse me."
As you take your leave, Pantalone's smile fades as he too stands up from his seat. It seems he took things too personal again. He approaches the staff member, seemingly waiting for the dinner's payment, and gives him the right amount via a lavish bag full of moras.
"H-hope to see you again, s-sir."
Disregarding the pitiful display, he leaves the establishment , wondering when he might have the opportunity to see you once more.

"Ningguang, please, i beg of you to listen to reason. This kind of threat doesn't loom over Mondstadt alone, all of Teyvat is at risk."
The grand master of the Knights of Favonius searches fervently for any signs of concern in the reddish eyes of the woman before him, yet her smile remains calm and unfazed. Her presence commands respect as she speaks to the man in an eloquent tone, dismissing his concerns with a flick of her fan.
"I am well aware of the situation in the north and the peril it poses, Varka. However, I feel the need to remind you that our capabilities are limited in addressing this issue."
The towering man forcefully slams his fist on the woman's desk, causing some paperwork to flutter down gradually. Under normal circumstances, Varka isn't someone to easily lose his composure. Yet, with the recent surge of problems, even his usual calm begins to falter.
"Stop beating around the bush !"
Displeased with the man's tone, Ningguang rises from her seat and strides toward the irritated knight. She seizes the man's cheeks, causing him to grunt from the pressure made by her claw-like jewelry.
"The Qixing and I are currently deeply engaged in the construction of the Jade Chamber, i cannot allow half of the millith's forces to join the knights of favonius in a perilous mission doomed unsucessfull. Do i make myself clear ?"
Varka attempts to free himself from Ningguang's grasp by reaching for her hand, but the noblewoman prevents him from doing so by stepping back herself. Seated elegantly on her desk, she discards her fan to take a slight inhale from her pipe, attentively observing the resentful gaze of the man.
"I came to Liyue believing that the Tianquan would be the most understanding. Unfortunately, it seems that selfishness plagues all nations."
"Cut her some slack old man, not everybody is willing to die for some greater good. Here, have a drink."
Varka looks at the half-naked woman slouching on the expensive couch while presenting him an opened flask, most likely containing alcohol. The man averts his eyes, embarrassed by her shameless behavior.
"Oh archons, please, have some decency."
The woman slowly rises from the couch and approaches the man with an unusual sway. As she walks towards him, she struggles to maintain balance on her two feet. Her body moves uncontrollably, resembling the unsteady motion of a boat. Stopping uncomfortably close to Varka, to his displeasure, she fervently pokes his chest.
"Well, look who's talking! You're the one who barged in uninvited in the middle of the night while this elegant lady and I were enjoying a wonderful night of passion."
Ningguang observes the interaction closely but takes no action to intervene as the woman keeps on intruding the man's personal space. However, her passive behavior changes abruptly when her loved one begins to slide her hand under Varka's uniform.
"Beidou, i must advise you to refrain from teasing him, the gentleman appears to be on the brink of mortification~."
The sea woman gives the man some space without making a fuss, returning to the couch. Flopping onto it crudely, she sips her beverage while muttering inaudible words to herself. Ningguang lets out a sigh as she glances at the drunk woman pouting.
On the other hand, Varka straightens his knight's uniform, choosing to close the topic and avoid dwelling on it any further.
"Your nocturnal escapades are not on my list of interests and i'd like to keep it that way. Spare me the details and we'll all sleep a little more soundly, thank you."
Just as Beidou was about to voice her mind, the door to the private room burst open. Two young knights hurriedly entered, slamming the door shut as if sealing themselves off from a pursuing threat. Judging by Kaeya's heavy breathing, he seemed as if he had just sprinted for his life. Diluc, though equally exhausted, maintained a more composed demeanor.
"Care to explain where you two were ?"
The brothers instantly straightened from their slouching forms, standing at attention, fists over their hearts. Varka folded his arms, seemingly awaiting a response. Diluc broke the silence, his eyes challenging the Grand Master's gaze as he spoke first.
"On duty."
Kaeya scoffs dismissively, adding a sardonic remark to punctuate his disdain.
"I'm not sure discretely following a harbinger and a guide, getting discovered and almost dying on the spot was part of the mission we were assigned to."
The Tianquan's ears perk up at the mention of such individuals by the young knight. If his statement proved to be true, then troubles were brewing right under her nose. The prospect doesn't sit well with her.
Diluc quickly retorts with a tone laced with disdain, his brother's attitude getting on his nerves more than it already has.
"Would it kill you to shut your mouth once in a while ?"
"Would it kill you to respect the knight's code once in a while ?"
Beidou erupts into a loud laughter as it slowly fades into amused chuckles. In her inebriated state, the interaction between the two unfolds as a hilarious spectacle. Varka doesn't appear to find the situation funny as his facial expression twitches with carefully concealed anger.
Interestingly, Diluc appeared to share a similar state, albeit for different reasons.
"You don't even know what you're talking about."
Kaeya makes a concerted effort to maintain formation as he turns his head to look at the redhead.
"Oh, forgive me ! All you ever do is chase your damn heart's desires in the guise of justice, and that's precisely how you put not just yourself but everyone around you in danger ! You're downright inconsiderate and recklessly hot-headed."
Sensing a headache starting to form, Varka decides to finally intervene.
"That's enough, both of you. Childish bickering is unbecoming of knights. Now, I want to know where you were and what you were doing. Keep it brief."
The bluish knight keeps his eyes shut and mouth silent. His brother decides to confront the Grand Master, seemingly unimpressed by his towering composure and the fact that he could send him flying with a flick of his wrist.
"It doesn't matter what we witnessed, you couldn't possibly do anything about it anyway. Just like your expedition in the north, they won't amount to anything in the end."
The fiery attitude of the knight briefly snaps the drunk woman out of her clouded mind. She cheers with her nearly empty bottle before sleep reclaims her once more.
"Ah ! The kid got some spunk ! Reminds me of... what was his name again...?"
Diluc coughs as smoke wafts into his face. He glances at the woman responsible, who smiles while inhaling from her pipe again.
"It would be in your best interest to learn what to keep to yourself and what should be shared, boy. If a guide is indeed involved with a harbinger, something serious is looming. Trust me, you don't want the weight of people's lives on your shoulders."
The knight ignites the remaining essence inside the pipe, allowing it to burn and depriving her of anything else to smoke. The woman scoffs at the man's use of his Pyro vision. It's akin to witnessing a child throwing a tantrum for not being taken seriously. Yet, unlike the hollow threats of a kid, the fire in his eyes dared the Tianquan to change his mind.
Surveying the remaining people, he briefly locks eyes with Kaeya. Sensing his concern, yet dismissing it, he storms out of the room.
"I know what i must do, and it doesn't concern any of you."

A loud shattering noise brings Diluc back to his senses. He glances at the culprit and frowns upon seeing the local bard laying on the floor with a broken wine bottle. Giggling to himself, the drunkard appears to be in his own world, thoroughly enjoying himself. The bartender grabs him by his shirt, hoisting him back onto his stool.
With the late hour upon him, Diluc finds himself with only the lonesome bard as a customer. Eager to begin his journey home and well aware of this specific client's penchant to be annoying when it comes to alcohol, he decides to employ a different strategy than his usual approach.
"So, when do you think i should kick you out ?"
Venti continues to giggle slightly, leaning on the bar counter. He toys with the glass Diluc so gracefully served him, mischief forming in his eyes as he glances at the redhead. Strangely enough, he doesn't seem to be that drunk anymore.
"Let's say... If you tell me why you were lost in such a thoughtful row, i might let you know~."
The bartender dismisses it with a simple shrug, clearly not in the mood to satisfy the bard's curiosity.
"I was just reminded of something."
As the breeze softly wafts through a small crack in the bar's window, Venti's smile takes on a more knowing gleam. He slides his empty glass playfully along the counter, a silent request to get a refill. Unfortunately, Diluc only takes the glass to clean it, refusing to pour more alcohol for him.
As he resigned on getting more of the sweet beverage, Venti sighs and settles on trying to decipher the bartender's thoughts.
"Well, I don't mind to guess~."
Diluc scoffs, skeptical of the drunkard's boastful claim. While he doesn't feel the need to engage in Venti's game, a hint of curiosity lingers. Who knows, perhaps the bard might have something intriguing to say.
"I've caught wind that the traveler's back from their journey. We haven't crossed paths, but rumor has it that their tale isn't quite cheery."
As Venti's concern reflects in his eyes, Diluc can only wonder what's hidden behind those poetic rumbles.
"I've known about their return in Mondstadt for quite a while now, but i haven't gotten the chance to meet them yet."
The bard contemplates the redhead's words with a thoughtful hum. Determined to get under his skin, he retrieves his lyre, creating a gentle tune that pierces the silence in the tavern. His expression bears the weight of sorrow as he poetically expresses his thoughts.
"Let his story be a lesson.
One learned from past takes,
To steer clear of repeating mistakes.
Beware of ones who claim as guides,
for their path conceals deceptive tides.
As stories have shown,
they cannot be trusted to bring you home.
Truth easily brushed aside with vows so sweet,
Yet, remember, once humans, their hearts did beat.
Let their story be a lesson,
Unspoken, like an untold confession.
One that shall not be named,
so it may never repeat again."
As the melody gently fades away, satisfaction spreads into the bard upon witnessing surprise on the man's features.
"Hehe, told you i was good at guessing~."
In his silent contemplation, Diluc gazes at the sword that once symbolized his knighthood, now relegated to a mere wall ornament. There was a time when he wielded it with pride. These days, when confronted with his nocturnal 'duties', he opts for heavier armaments. Regrettably, without his claymore in close reach, his former sword remains the sole option should the need for self-defense arise.
"Such strange beings... Aren't they fascinating ? While not being from these lands, it feels as if they've existed here long before life itself."
Venti follows the redhead's gaze, unbothered by his cautious demeanor. After all, he, too, once felt intimidated by the mere mention of guides. Nevertheless, his past fear primarily stemmed from his unfamiliarity with them. Having personally witnessed their exceptional powers, he understands that while one should avoid provoking them, it's quite simple to earn their favor.
"Some cruel, some benevolent, they only share their pride. Powerful yet feeble, to survive, they are reliant on what they term a 'vessel'. To their host, they may seem divine, yet in truth, they're nothing but a parasite."
Observing the bard rise from his stool, Diluc steps away from the counter to obstruct the main entrance of the tavern. Crossing his arms, he challenges Venti to take another step, his pyro vision blazing brightly as a silent warning.
"How do you know so much about them ?"
Amused by the situation, the not quite inebriated individual appears unfazed by Diluc's fiery demeanor, lifting his arms in mock surrender. His eyes emit a faint glow as a gust of wind forcefully opens the window, extinguishing all the candles illuminating the tavern. Irritated by the incessant noise of the window slamming against the wall, Diluc promptly closes it. Turning his attention back to the bard, he furrows his brows upon realizing that Venti hasn't made a hasty retreat. It's peculiar since the bard is renowned for employing cunning tactics to escape undesirable situations. Venti nonchalantly shrugs in response to the accusing gaze from the redhead, as if he weren't the one responsible for the sudden gust of wind, despite the 'anemo vision' resting on his belt.
"That's a tale for another day~. What's more important is why you seem to hold such an interest in them."
Realizing the bard has no intention to utter another word, Diluc sighs and clears the path to the exit. He gestures to Venti with a nod, signaling him to leave while he allows it.
"I have my reasons."
Entertained by the fact that he didn't need to be forcibly kicked out, the bard chuckles to himself before making a swift departure, leaving his parting words to resonate in the air.
"Hehe, fair enough. But if you do wish to learn more about them, heed my advice. Fools seeking aid from those with selfish desires rarely find anything good in return."

As waves gently caress the shore, a symphony of memories, both ancient and recent, courses through them. The gentle cadence of the sea does not drown out the melody hummed by the young man standing in the water. Unfazed by the sea reaching his knees or the cool night breeze, he stands with eyes open but vacant, bathed in the ethereal glow of the moonlight.
With utmost care, he places on the water's surface a leaf-crafted vessel bearing a delicate arrangement of flowers, a tribute to his sister. As the final notes of his haunting melody linger in the night, a lament of anguish and sorrow, he releases the makeshift boat to be carried away by the current.
Soft tears flow down his face as his voice gently wanes. Upon arriving for the first time at this shore with a solemn vow to reunite with his sister, his ignorance veiled his eyes. Admidst the new sights this world had to offer, a strange familiarity embraced him. As the wind tousled his hair down to the way the soil felt beneath his feet, it was as if he had returned home.
He reflects on his past as a soldier, an obedient one who never questioned orders, devoid of a sense of morality, discerning neither good nor bad. He was merely following commands.
He recalls about her once gentle nature, a soul averse to causing harm, adorning herself not for personal satisfaction but for others' admiration. Her explanations of right and wrong were delivered calmly, never raising her voice.
They both changed so much, left with nothing but themselves and memories to nurture. Their relationship was at the time a delicate balance, with even the smallest mistakes sparking intense fights.
With time, she developed a stronger personality, becoming more reserved and secretive. He, however, found a way to articulate his feelings, expressing himself in ways he couldn't comprehend before. She loved to tease his newfound soft side.
But someone had robbed him of that. When he encountered her again at the end of his journey, he realized he was too late. In their final meeting, although her body was still breathing, there was no soul inhabiting it, no mind radiated from her mortal shell.
As she was no longer herself, he had no option but to end her suffering.
"Well, it's not often i get to meet with you alone. Where is that little fairy friend of yours ?"
As he feels tender hands cupping his face, a smile graces his features, whispering your name. To him, it has been too long since the last time you two shared such a peaceful moment. The infrequency of your meetings only heightens the value he places on them.
"Paimon is currently receiving care from the sisters of Mondstadt's cathedral. She got quite injured during our latest adventure. As for why i am here, I needed some time alone to bid a proper farewell."
He opens his eyes, savoring the sight of yours. Their intricate hues bear untold secrets that he longs to unravel. The patterns on your skin accentuate the natural bioluminescence of your body, preserving tales from times long past. Gently, he raises his calloused hand to your own, relishing in the comfort. As he senses your delicate fingers wiping away the tears from his face, more flows out.
"I'm sorry for your loss."
As his guide, he understands the price to pay for the honor bestowed upon him. Deep down, he understands the strength and knowledge you provided were for your own survival. The love he receives depends on the satisfaction he brings to you. He doesn't care if you use him as a vulgar puppet, as long as he remains by your side. He can't lose you, not you too.
"My sister liked to say that home is wherever we are together. Since we were all that were left of our home, i guess it was true."
His voice is parched and laden with sorrow as he clings to you like he would for a lifeline.
"She was the one determined to find somewhere for us to settle. But everywhere we went, troubles came. Either we had to flee or we were chased away. Times were hard, but at least we had each other. She was the only one I could rely on."
"But times have changed; you don't have to flee anymore, you don't have to follow orders, you don't have to live in her shadow. You can listen to your heart's desires."
In the silent exchange of glances, Aether notices the profound emptiness in your eyes, a void untouched by the shared sadness or comfort he seeks. The weight of realization descends upon him, as denial attempts to cloak the newfound awareness. The touch that he craved for earlier radiated no warmth. A sense of betrayal settles over him, sending chills coursing through his body.
"... you knew."
With the guilt slowly making itself evident on your face, he pushes your hands away from his. Stumbling on his feet, the world around him spins as if he has just awakened from a profound dream. The thought of you betraying his trust unsettled him. After all, the bond you shared wasn't a trivial pinky promise but a deep connection where he lived for you, and you for him.
"... you knew it would happen... you knew and yet... you did nothing ?"
He retreats slowly toward the shore, and as you follow, your hands gently signal him to calm down, much like one would soothe a frightened animal.
"It was already too late the day i saved you from that shade."
His heart aches as your words sink in. Closing the distance between the both of you, Aether decides to listen. He allows you to take his hands in yours, feeling the squeeze accompanied by a sudden cold. It's a familiar chill that he's come to associate with your moments of sadness.
"Then why did you save me ? Why didn't you save her ? Why. Me."
You guide him gently to the dry sand, ensuring his gaze follows your movements. As you start drawing shapes on the ground, they soon come to life in a light green hue, dancing around both of you. Aether recognizes himself in one of them and reaches out to touch it. Luminescent particles spread apart at his sudden movement, only to reform elsewhere near them. The scene changes, depicting the fateful day he lost Lumine.
"... you were both destined to die. I chose you because you reminded me of my old self."
He witnesses the divine being capturing his sister only to target him next. Aether perks up by the appearance of another shape. He observes how you protect him from the deity before the scene changes once more. Nostalgia fills him as he watches you forge the bond between the two of you. A soft laugh escapes him at the sight of Paimon being fished out, breathing life into your dynamic.
"You were quite stupid and ignorant."
Beads of sweat flow down his face as the shapes replays some of his past mistakes. In an attempt to avoid further embarrassment, he raises his hand to dispel the particles. You intervene by gently seizing his hand and guiding it to his heart.
"Yet, I could sense your determination to protect what you hold dear."
His ethereal counterpart proudly raises his blade against the final obstacle in his journey. It appears fearless, prepared to confront what he believed would be its greatest foe. However, that confidence crumbles when the monstrous shape morphs into the likeness of his sister. He observes as his particle self thrusts its sword through her, taking her life. As the particles slowly disperse, he meets your gaze, bitterness filling his throat.
"If I were to apologize for all the secrets i kept from you, that would be a lie. For all I did was solely to protect you."
You embrace the boy one final time before fading away. Aether's arms linger in the air before he wraps them around himself, trembling slightly. Shivers run down his spine as he comprehends what you've left behind. He gingerly picks up the small gemstone on the sand and clenches his fist. Anger wells up within him as he gazes at the cracked little starshaped orb, a symbol of your shattered bond.
You abandoned him.

"Ugh, are you done yet ? Witnessing your sickening sweetness with him is making me nauseous."
Upon opening your eyes, you sense cramps crawling through your body, as if emerging from a deep coma. You snatch the helmet-like device off your skull and shove it away. The man attending to you utters an annoyed "watch it" in response.
"Deal with it."
The man assists you in exiting the machinery, disconnecting various tubes and electronics that monitored your health and body state. He grunts upon witnessing your attempt to straighten up quickly, and he gently compels you to lay back. Muttering additional curses, he likely expresses irritation at your impulsive actions, fully aware of the associated risks.
"Do you really need to go to such lengths? First, you toyed with his memories, and technically, you're the reason why he lost his dear 'sister.' And now, after all the efforts you put into him, you're just giving up ?"
You forcefully pull his hands away from your body and swiftly rise to your feet. Letting out a grunt, you massage your temples as a headache begins to intensify. Moving slowly, you skip a few steps, struggling to stand on your own but determined to reach a proper bed for some rest.
"I know what i have to do and i don't need your concern."
Depriving you of the chance to take another step on your own, the man hoists you onto his shoulder and carries you like a sack of potatoes. With no strength left, you acquiesce, but in silence, you mentally note to make him pay for this humiliation.
"Ugh, guides. I would never understand your kind."
You snarl and swiftly retort to his remark, delivering a quick hit to his hips.
"I am nothing like them."
The man appears unfazed by your punch, softly placing you on a very comfortable bed. He sighs at your angry gaze and flicks your forehead. It perplexes him how careless you can be when it comes to taking care of yourself, yet how gentle you are when it comes to your vessels.
"And yet, here you are, acting like one."
"And yet, here you are, taking care of me."
You lock eyes with the man, urging him to look away, but he continues to relish the moment. He neatly folds the cozy blanket atop you and tenderly traces the features of your face with his fingers. Despite his harsh and unyielding tone, his facial expression reveals another narrative, one where he could have been more sincere about his feelings.
"We just have a common enemy, nothing more."
Frustrated by his contradictory tenderness and attitude, you opt to usher him out.
"You never know when to shut your mouth do you ? I wonder where you got that."
The man scoffs and exits the room, clearly offended by your words. Finally relishing a peaceful moment, you close your eyes and envision the starry sky you've come to know by heart, one you hold dear, even if it's a mere fabrication. You identify a few constellations and recollect which ones align with your favorites.
After spending countless years in these lands, your meticulous preparations are on the verge of paying off. All the accumulated resources, weapons, and artifacts are about to prove their worth. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a game that truly fulfills your desires. One marked by chaos and unforeseeable events, where rules are broken and laws cease to matter.
Anticipation builds as you look forward to witnessing the expressions of newcomers when things deviate from their expectations, struggling to survive in a world they believed they knew.
It's going to be a gameboard where, finally, you hold the advantage.
Doesn't it sound fun ?

Just some various Genshin Impact Bodyguard!AU ideas/thirsts that floated around in my head when I was in the shower, and considering I haven't talked much about these woman for a bit... It would be only fair to share these thoughts.
CW: Just fluff under the cut
✧ Bodyguard!Jean who makes it her duty to protect you at any cost. She puts her life on the line constantly in order to protect you that it starts to irritate you. At one point you drag her to your bedroom to personally look over her fresh wounds, and having a half naked Jean on your bed with the sexual tension high- you give in to temptation and kiss her.
✧ Bodyguard!Eula who promises vengeance on anyone who tries to hurt you. She takes her job seriously and will protect you no matter the cost. She honestly wouldn't be able to live with herself if something were to happen to you, so she constantly wants to be near you so she can leap into action and protect you in a moment's notice. You end up having to reassure her a kiss that she's doing a great job at protecting you.
✧ Bodyguard!Beidou whose a little too reckless with her life un order to protect you. She'll throw herself in front of a bullet for you (which she already has) in a heartbeat. Even bleeding from a gunshot wound she still makes sure to get you to safety while cracking jokes here and there. You have to kiss her to shut her up so she can have energy while you forcefully get her to the hospital.
✧ Bodyguard!Shenhe whose quiet and intimidating following you around like a shadow. You can tell her that she doesn't have to hover but she simply won't listen, because secretly she just loves being right next to you and saying she does it to protect you is only half the truth. One night, when walking you to your room she takes a risk with kissing you softly on the cheek, and you respond by kissing her on the lips.
✧ Bodyguard!Dehya who takes her job seriously even if she acts more like a friend than a person hired to protect you. She just wants you to feel comfortable with her, to not see her as some intimidating person. She'll even help you with mundane tasks like doing laundry or cooking, it almost makes you two seem like a couple- a thought that gets her so giddy. But she knows she can't be with you, though she'll go "fuck it" after you both get drunk in your livingroom and you move in to kiss her.
✧ Bodyguard!Clorinde who resembles a dog with the way she follows you around, or the way she looks at you. She's so gentle with you, awfully so, but you can't blame her because she doesn't want to hurt you or get you hurt. She's always right around the corner no matter what, always ready to save you. If you thank her for saving you or give her compliments, she'll be a flushed mess for the rest of the day, the only thing being on her mind being you. She wants to kiss you and hold you, and she does just that when she knocks on your door in the middle of the night.

i have this very tender HC for Kaveh and Alhaitham.
i like to hc that Kaveh's The Palace of Alcazarzaray brings his name to Liyue and Ningguang commisions him for a vacation home in summeru.
okay so it all starts like this: Ningguang, who is interested in bringing the Akedemia's progress in technological advancements to Liyue, decides to speak to the scribe.
Only Alhaitham refuses to move to Liyue or even travel there. He is dragging his feet because the paperwork would be annoying. It would double his workload so he's avoiding it.
if she wants to make any money off of this she'll have to meet him in person. She sees the sights of Summeru and notices Alhaitham's specific connections to a man named Kaveh. He recognizes her immidiately and is starstruck to meet the person behind the one and only floating mansion. He asks her question after question. Clever woman that Ningguang is, she sees her chance.
She commisions him for this big project where he has complete creative control and all the resources he could ask for. The pay is so good it is enough to pay for his debt several times over. Suddenly Ningguang is over for dinner often while an incredibly greatful Kaveh gushes about all his plans and his ideas. Naturally he's going to take an incredibly long time to finish because Kaveh is a perfectionist.
Alhaitham is nervous but instead of leaving Kaveh creates a house perfectly suited for all of his and Alhaitham's needs. its far from the traffic and noise of the city but not too far. it's the perfect distance from the Akedemia and the path is lined with fruit bearing trees. it has north and south facing windows so thr bright sunlight doesnt bother either of them. the rooms that do have west and east facing windows made for aesthetic purposes. it has a river and a beautiful view. every room is perfection. its filled with Kaveh's keen eye for detail and proof he cares about every problem he pretends to ignore. All of Alhaithams constant complaining is accounted for. Best of all its proof that Kaveh consciously chooses to live with him. In Kaveh's ideal home Alhaitham is there.
Ningguang and Beidou are invited to wedding ofc. a few months later Alhaitham agrees to her deal.

@Silverbard22 Special Birthday Occasion !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N : Happy birthday my friend ! Congratulations on being today years old, as my (late late late late LATE! really sorry about that) gift for you I'll be writing this headcanon with every character from Mondstadt to Sumeru celebrating your birthday ! And fun fact, you were born on the same day as my old cat ! (his name was 'little steps' and he passed away four years ago because he was old but now I have two new troublemakers to destroy my sleep)
Warning(s) : some bombs from klee, a lot of cake but idk if that's even some kind of warning, mostly fluff, it's kind of Sagau if you squint a little.
Tumblr media
MONDSTADT
The moment Jean was informed she got a multitude of knights just getting the entire city ready for a huge celebration, at this point, it's a national holiday. She patrols around to check if everything is in it's rightful place, if anyone dares to sabotage or disrupt such an occasion they will get beheaded. Amber and Eula follow after their senior, wishing you the best when they see you, since the beautiful Lawrence maiden understands how important this day is for you she'll perform a wonderful dance for you.
The church also prepared a wonderful original song for you, and it was all thanks to Barbara and Venti (who was also the one that announced your date of birth) even if it doesn't match their usual tunes they will gladly change their genre just for you to enjoy their singing. It's kind of hard to imagine priests singing black metal but they'll do their best in doing it for you.
Diluc pretended not to care but the Dawn Winery had also been cleaned and decorated to the brim. Everything on the menu is just foods you enjoy, all that you dislike is BANNED from this place, they take your approval seriously and I mean it. When you come in, he has everything ready and perhaps even a huge gift. Though much to his dismay, Kaeya will tease him for it (not like he didn't plan grandiose things just to see your smile). Speaking of teasing, he starts to poke a multitude of pickup lines at you.
There is music, there is presents and decoration..what else are we missing? Oh wait who's the clown for this party-
I'm kidding I'm kidding Lisa is the magician, I know that her stans are out there to get me rn. Besides, the lady has a friendly, albeit a little explosive, assistant named Klee...And Albedo because we need a sane being around these two chaos inducing people. And don't think I forgot about the gifts- those are everywhere, they offer you presents all the time but they've out done themselves just for your special day.
All thanks to Sucrose who was more than overjoyed to be the one to get the honor of creating your main bestowal. Let's not forget Benny's Adventure team who crashed in halfway to celebrate alongside you. Bennett, Razor and Fischl ran like tornadoes to offer their own blessings, Rosaria pretended that she wasn't looking forward to give her own birthday wishes. But we can all see how happy your smile makes her the moment you thank her for coming.
Tumblr media
LIYUE
Oh you are so spoiled for this one. Ningguang quite literally built a new jade chamber just for your birthday celebration and Ganyu worked faster than the speed of light just to get to spend some quality time with you, Keqing is no different with so much dedication nothing is stopping her now (her pen broke as she practically printed down files of tasks). No one has seen them more desperate than scaramouche wanting to become a god BUT that's just because she wants to spend as much time with you during these special hours, it's not everyday that your favorite person turns [age] years old !
Beidou doesn't seem like the type to throw a fuss during these occasions. And she isn't, you're absolutely correct, however she will bring you to any place around the ocean to go sight seeing and have her crew throw a party all evening. In addition to this wonderful proposal we got Hu Tao willing to unbury sixty dead people COUGH COUGH I MEANT INVITE I SWEAR GUYS DON'T ARREST ME-
Zhongli was also at the funeral parlor when his boss made preparations for your visit. He wanted to offer you a gift but with what money? so Childe had to take care of the presents instead. (Though he will go through the effort of offering you a dried glaze lily, accompanied with the marvelous yet oh so tragic meaning behind it, have fun falling asleep) Poof goes the northland bank money to the mountains of donations, his wallet is crying so many tears to the point where you'll need to name an entirely new river.
I swear if the river's name goes something like : 'spring valley view nice face' I say fuck that and call it 'broke stream' then we can get along. I just hope Xiao actually participates in your ceremony physically rather than alternatively placing a gift at your window and disappearing right after. It becomes a game for a while, just spend the whole day trying to find him to say thank you. He finds your tenacity so impressive but so confusing, why are you ripping both time and space HE'S HERE GOOD HEAVENS-
This goes for Shenhe too, be nice to her okay? it may not seem like it, but the young woman is trying very hard to please you, although it is evident that you truly enjoy her presence. Chongyun tagged along with his aunty, whilst Cloud Retainer would've been there, her bad habit of spilling the embarrassing memories of her beloved students made the graceful lady refuse the bird's company.
Have you ever seen Xiangling cook the worth of three buffets ? Well, now you have, she felt so ashamed for forgetting what you liked ! So she panicked and made every food known to their world, even those that didn't necessarily originate from Liyue.. I salute you, that much nutrition will probably be the end of it all. Xingqiu is no more after helping his good companion, winded and absolutely exhausted, I mean who cooks 149 recipes in FIVE HOURS?!
Honestly, I really jealous about the fact that YaoYao made you a custom plushy that resembled a mini you, she even added a small yellow bunny attached on the side as well as your birthday day sewed on it. Qiqi was the one with the responsibility to deliver it for her friend, of course Baizhu needed to remind her of doing so too. Speaking of that shady doctor, he hangs around you to make sure you stay healthy. Tho his coughing isn't really helping the process, he's trying to be of use. Let's not forget that Yelan most likely stole another fatui jacket just because she kinda...Forgot? I mean, she got the gift and she stylized it just to match your style...If only she knew it was Childe's present on its way to you.
Tumblr media
INAZUMA
Boob sword, boob sword, boob sword- If that's what you want she'll whip out that weapon faster than lightning. get it? I'm such a loser. Ei turned your birthday into the new year festival, fireworks bigger than ever were organized thanks to Yoimiya. Look closely and you'll notice that the sparkling firecrackers spell out your name and create visuals of your favorite animal/food!
Itto is gonna bring you around town with his gang, if you want he can even carry you on his shoulders during the entire time he's showing you off with Shinobu by his side, his (unpaid) nanny who is continuously begging him to be careful. She smiles under her mask when she sees you laugh at their antics, but please don't encourage them too much, keeping them out of trouble is already hard enough.
Subsequently, you met up with Gorou and Kokomi who offered their heartfelt wishes, including an all out party with the army. Everyone was dancing, drinking and losing all of their remaining braincells..Thank goodness our gorgeous mermaid stopped you from consuming anything too strong..would've been as bad as taco bell- RING RING ! I have a delivery for the Birthday Star! Soft paws and double tails, it's none other than the speedy Nekomata, Kirara! Right on time as always for bringing a packet to the rightful owner.
The nice surprise ended up being a very cute gift box of many different delicacies along with...a birthday card from Yae Miko? Well, ain't that a new one. Seems like she gives you her sweet wishes and an opportunity to write a book with her. Gracious.
Smoke weed with the samurai Jk- Kazuha sends you a gush of wind with a bunch of leaves that end up spelling 'happy birthday' when they fall to the floor.
can he do that? It'd be fun if he could do that. He can do that.
Then you have the...Rich ones, I'll say it right off the bat, Ayaka and Ayato have prepared exactly everything from schedule to how many confetti will be thrown in your direction every minute of the day. Thomas is right behind them and he's cleaning up after said confetti, Poor guy. Someone help him...Yeah, definitely...Someone should.
... :)
Oh my archons is that? No way, La Signora's ashes flying all the way from Snezhnaya Kujou Sara what do we have here? A tiny figure of the raiden shogun, as a birthday gift? How adorable. Surely it'll be more eternal than a certain crimson witch HAHAHA- please don't kill me. This came from Sara's precious collectible collection so don't drop it. Ever.
Tumblr media
SUMERU
Oh Nahida, she did say that your celebration shall be at least as grand as the Subzeruz Festival. So, don't be shy, let her pull you through and help you enjoy the sights! You wouldn't want to miss Nilou's pretty performance would you? Tighnari, Collei and most of the other forest rangers came along too! Now there's a table's worth of present for you, with very pretty mushrooms, some crafted trinkets, a flower bouquet that sprayed water in your face- CYNO! "What did one plate say to the other plate on their birthday?" "Cyno please-" "Lunch is on me."
"..."
"..."
"Good job, buddy. Good job."
If anyone makes me right down a joke like that again, I will kill myself. Luckily for you, Sethos swoops in to save you, maybe? All I know if that he's up for a new hairdo desert dweller style! But give him a second to catch his breath. He did drag hat guy all this way for a reason, surely it isn't because mister Wanderer thinks himself above wishing you a small happy birthday? No, he ain't that's why he's here, darling. Albeit a little against his will. His little auntie would've pushed him towards you anyways, he's a little shy, give him some time. *Cue the boss music.*
When Kaveh and Al Haitham finally arrive, they were willing to put their arguments to a pause and give you a well deserved happy birthday wish, including a long rant about how Al Haitham doesn't know shit about aesthetics and how Kaveh keeps losing his mother fucking keys- EHO WAIT A MINUTE! This isn't about you, *spray bottle* this is about [Name] so you better treat the birthday majesty, treat them well!
Oh! Dehya just arrived! Your very own bodyguard for the trip! She grants you protection as you make your way to Aaru village where Candace awaits. Birthday cake on a plate, and candles ready to place. You spend most of your time having fun with the people. And when the time for you to leave comes, Dehya thanks you as she brings you right back to Sumeru city. Where you encounter Dori at the entrance and she- Uh? Free gift? No there must be a catch, Dori doesn't give gifts! Ah right she wants to grant you a wish, which is technically a gift for as long as it isn't a lifetime of Mora...Cause that wouldn't work, no, no. Dori isn't a doner. "Happy birthday, [Name]-" "Could I have the Palace of Alcazarzaray?"
"...The what now?"
Well, guess that's everybody- Wait a damn minute where is Layla? Surely she isn't sleeping through your celebrations, the music is far too loud! Oh, never mind, there she is. Somehow awake and...She's with a gift, you now have your very own pocket astrolabe, I have no fucking clue how this thing works but you'll figure it out. I'm sure. And if not, well Miss faruzan is here to help, she'll also offer her own small toy for you. It's an assembly of a number of miniature puzzle mechanisms — you can find a button and lever here, as well as a roller to the side. I still have no clue on what and how, but it's the intention that counts.
Not me using her voice line to explain shit.
FLOWER CONFETTI ATTAAAACK-
Tumblr media
FONTAINE
I do believe it was supposed to rain today, but monsieur Neuvillette did say that he would do something about it. Strange. Who could've thought he actually would- Wait no why is it starting, why do I feel sad, WHO DID THIS?!
It's okay now, Furina arrived just in time to distract him from the sadness. And! To remind him that a special someone was celebrating their special day today! Here's your ticket to 'Happy Day'! Don't make me spoil the surprise, there's a reason why it's called a surprise, don't you ask me what'll happen, don't you dare do it, don't-
She'll make sure you show up though since her dutiful Clorinde is never far away from you or Furina herself. She'll pop out of the blue, remind you of the time and disappear again, not before leaving a small birthday card at your feet. There is a letter along with...Mhm? Is that- a coupon for Furina's favorite bakery?!
You get to buy your own birthday cake! That sounds so sad but so good at the same time. And surprise, surprise! There's a surprise! From Sigewinne, Navia, Chiori, Chevreuse, Freminet, Emilie and Charlotte too! Even the whole of spina de rosula came along to celebrate before your attendance to 'Happy Day'! You receive a gorgeous outfit from Chiori, she insists that it was just an excuse to better your wardrobe but we all know she's looked forward to sewing something up for you, for a long time. Chevreuse's gift is a pile of the best selling Fontaine books, many of which are her personal favorite, but perhaps you'll take a liking to them too!
Charlotte got everyone to fit into the group picture, and with a snap! Collects the memory. She also gifts you your very own Kamera! Now even you can match her as a frenzied journalist! Just make sure you show her your future pictures, she'd love to collaborate on her next journal page! ft. [Name]'s photography.
Freminet was a little shy at first, but after a little encouragement from his siblings to face you without his helmet, you just had to gush over the Pers he gave you. He's more than glad you like it, though the way you seem so happy gets him a little embarrassed- And the helmet goes back on! Uh...
There's something tapping your leg, wait! The Melusines are all here! And they have lots of nice stickers! One here, and there, and everywhere! Sigewinne wanted you to spend time with as many friends as possible, though she regrets to say that Wriothesley couldn't come along, but he took the time to gift you an assortment of luxurious tea as well as a...Pair of...Boxing gloves? Oh well, better get to some sporty activities then. Fortunately for you, Emilie just created a new perfume made of your favorite scents that gets rid of any foul odor, and it's a limited edition [Name]-reserved product too!
Cue Lyney and his little magic trick, watch as he gives you a feather, observe how it pops and turns out to be a party popper. He grabs one of the floating paper streamers, drops it in the hat, imagine your gift, reach down and- Tada! Your very own mini Lyney the cat! And- What is this? His assistant, Lynette, takes the lead! She hands you a blank card, on it, write your wish before she places it in her own hat, gesturing you to reach within and- Tada! You now have a mini kitty Lynette! Wooo! Keep smiling, they don't have to know you imagined as well as wrote a thousand mora.

Oooo ok genshin females (mostly Lisa and beidou) with a flirty s/o who just DIES when someone flirts back like s/o is like “uh…I’m…um..well..”
you guys i havent played genshin during the whole 3.7 update lmfao 😍
its summerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'll do Lisa, Beidou, and Yae Miko x reader
fyi i dont know how to flirt bc i personally dislike relationships irl so i searched this shit up. im aromantic but fictional characters are just so pretty
this also adds to the fact that im street stupid (but im academically smart tho trust me bro)
i lied im not going to use pickup lines i searched up online and theyre actually horrendous
"Lisaaaaa!" you smiled.
You were Lisa's library assistant, and the two of you were organizing new books while the library was closed.
"Yes cutie?" You laughed, "Me? cute? no way! If anything, I'd say youre the absolute cutest!"
It was quite hard to think straight after someone as pretty and perfect as Lisa complimented you.
"A-anyway," you stuttered, "could you help me sort out these books? I dont know where these go..."
You picked up some books from the delivered box full of books and started flipping through the pages trying to determine what genre the book was. It was hard determining if the book was fiction or non-fiction considering the bizarre events that happened in teyvat. You also didn't notice the quiet advancement of lisa's figure walking up to you.
"These go in the fiction section cutie." she whispered in your ear.
"R-right!"
You shot up and dashed to the other side of the library where all the other fiction books were. It was quite hard flirting with lisa, she'd always beat you to it, flirting with you at every waking moment and possibility. Today however, things were going to change!-
"You didn't think a carved wooden duck could actually be the former dendro archon and sang as a duck did you?" lisa teased you to the brink of embarrassment.
Thank barbatos that there was no one in the library.
"Well, I didn't finish reading it! Yeah!" you shot back, face buried in your hands as you blushed.
You were always unable to flirt with lisa without getting flustered as you could always count on her flirting back but well, more flirtatiously. Hmm...Maybe you were doing this on purpose?...
~~~~~~~~~~
As you walked around the city of liyue, you were spacing out as the day slowly became night. Your trail of thoughts stopped after you felt a hand tap your shoulder.
"[name]!" Ah, it was beidou. "Whatcha' thinkin' about?!" She laughed, bottle of alcohol in hand.
You assumed she got drunk from a dinner party or something, after all it was a bit odd seeing the captain on land.
"Ah, I was thinking about you darling~" You smiled at her, giving a smooth wink.
"Hahaha!" She laughed whole heartedly.
"Whaaat?" You playfully frowned. "Can I not think about someone as charming as you?" You gave her a grin.
"Nice to know you think I'm charming!" she laughed again, but then suddenly she snaked her arms around your waist, and slyly smiled.
"W-what are you doing?!" You blushed and used one of your hands to cover her eyes. "S-stop looking at me like that!!"
Beidou laughed as she peeled your hand off her face and held it while her other hand was busy holding you.
"You're all talk and no bite when it comes to flirting hmm?~" she started to slur her words. "Betcha' didn't think I would do this did you~"
She smiled and shrugged. "What can I say? You really thought flirting like that to me wouldn't make me fall for you? You have quite the charm, give yourself some credit!"
~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh my, [name], I didn't expect seeing you here~" yae miko hummed as she sat down next to you in Uyuu Restraunt, eyeing the many empty bottles of sake around you as you slumped down on the table.
"Hmmm?" You drowsily turned your head (which was still lying on the table if I may add) to face her. eyes widening you struggled to sit straight. "Ah! its the suuuuuper pretty fox shrine lady! When we met for the first time, I just couldn't keep my eyes off you! Your name is um...its uh..." You paused, lost in thought.
"Silly [name], we're dating already. I can't believe you forgot me..." Her ears flopped down and you panicked.
"N-no! I didn't forget-your name is...its y-yae miko right? Please don't be sad!"
"Awe, so you did remember!" She smiled at you, seeing your eyes sparkled looking at her rather cute and fluffy ears. "Do you wanna pet me? Hmm?" As she leaned in closer, you started to blush as she picked up your hands and placed it on her ears.
"Ohmygosh-their so soft!!" you said excitedly.
This however, allowed yae miko to slowly close the distance between your faces, until your noses were practically touching. Unfortunately for you however, it was too late to realize as yae miko planted a kiss on your lips.
Like some cliché excited cartoon highschooler that got asked out on a date with their crush, you fell onto the ground and rolled around like a ball, kicking your feet. "Ah!~The super pretty shrine lady kissed me! Ahehehehe!!" you blushed
Yae miko could only smile at your antics while drunk. "How cute..." She muttered under her breath.
Later on, she bridal style carried you home.

A TRUE TREASURE
Tumblr media
'only a true treasure captures the eye of captain beidou, seems i've struck gold with this one'.
SUMMARY: the crux is best known for its devious pirate endeavours, including stealing the eye-catching, expensive trinkets from the richest of teyvat’s most important people. captain beidou, going on a solo mission to steal from none other than liyue’s tianquan herself, ningguang, becomes charmed by her wit, as she seems to have outsmarted beidou at her own deceitful game.
pairing: ningguang x beidou, beiguang word count: 2.2k
NOTES: - had a small idea for one of my favourite ships in the game - i miss this event
----------
The Tianquan. Or as Beidou often referred to her as: ‘Liyue’s Little Princess’.
Ningguang had done nothing wrong, of course. She was consistently admired and awarded for her leadership, making a positive impression on her people with policy and personality. To her, Liyue wasn’t just a nation, it was her home. Which is why she had a considerable talent for preserving its business and culture. Beidou’s issue, however, was that it was hard to steal from the people you didn’t hate to at least a small degree, so she found that one of her main hobbies was nitpicking irrational things about the people she stole from. In Ningguang’s case, Beidou claimed she didn’t like her because she was ‘too fancy’. Which was true, to an extent, though she kept more humble about it than others.
After frequent successful expeditions of stealing the gems from Teyvat’s most important, the Crux proposed a hit against Liyue’s Tianquan. A distracting event was crucial to tasks such as these, and the upcoming Lantern Rite, that Ningguang would have to make an appearance at, made it the perfect opportunity to strike.
The festival saw hundreds of people celebrating in the streets of Liyue Harbor, decorated with dancing bright lights, fluid puppetry of large dragons, floating lanterns, sparking fireworks and street vendors with sweet and savoury aromas you could smell from miles away. Beidou proposed she do this mission alone, giving her crew an opportunity to relax and celebrate for a night.
Beidou sat at the edge of the pristine concrete base of the Jade Chamber, peering down at the blur of lights and festivities she’d be missing out on this year, though she figured that if she was quick enough she might be able to grab a plate of something warm and spicy from the harbor’s bustling restaurants. She stood up and walked to the outside of the Chamber, stealthing its walls to a side-entry door of the building. She twirled the dangling silver keys around her finger that she’d pickpocketed from one of Ningguang’s guards a few hours prior.
‘It really is too easy’, she laughed to herself as she unlocked the door to the Chamber’s main room. It only took looking around once to clearly see which room belonged to the ‘princess’.
*** The doors to Ningguang’s bedroom were grand. A towering curve of an arch, perfectly carved into the wall, patterned with twisting and entwining orange and brown patterns. The detailing of the lines were laced with a smooth gold, forming an accent that set them apart from their surrounding standard wooden walls. Even those with the simplest of minds could easily figure out that these were the doors to Ningguang’s room. Beidou snorted. ‘Typical’. Though she could admit, they did make her quite impressed, even if she couldn't appreciate their true beauty in the dark blue of the night. She rested her fingers on the handles of the doors, giving herself a reassuring moment that she had to be quick and quiet. She knew Ningguang was quite plentiful with whom she employed to work in her Jade Chamber, so Beidou knew she didn’t have long before someone walked in. She pushed the doors open, revealing a large bedroom. The walls towered up, the patterns on them following, meeting in the centre of the ceiling to form into pictures of mythical animals and constellations. The curtains that framed her bed were made with a soft pale-gold fabric. The dark wooden floors were mostly covered by a large carpet, the design of a golden phoenix weaved into it, framing the base of the bed. Beidou was stunned, glancing around and almost forgetting what she was here for. She couldn't possibly imagine ever living in something so luxurious, compared to the conditions of living in a ship. Though, admittedly, she did grant herself the best sleeping quarters of the Crux, even then it had no comparison to the room she was standing in. Looking around the place in awe, the corner of her eye caught sight of the perfectly displayed jewellery sets that her soon-to-be victim owned. Beidou rushed over to them, examining the heavy jewels that gave character to their connected metals and chains.
She set her eyes on a thin stacked necklace, its curved shapes divided by aqua-blue gems. She gently picked them up as they glistened against the moonlight that came from the window behind her. In her admiration, Beidou knew she had struck gold with this endeavour.
Slowly, her eyes couldn’t help but focus on the katanas mounted above the dresser in front of her. Setting the necklace down, she thought of the potential value of blades such as these. There were three mounts stacked above each other, each one holding up its own uniquely designed katana.
All except one of them.
Slightly surprised, Beidou pulled her hand away from the mount with a missing blade. She discovered its new location pretty quickly.
A cold tip travelled curved inches backwards, ending with the handle of the blade being held by pale, soft hands, delicately decorated with bracelets and sharp silver finger guards. The tip of the katana was methodically placed against Beidou’s skin of her upper back, perfectly slotted between the divided pieces of fabric that made up her cape. The coldness of the blade sent a slight shiver up Beidou’s spine. She felt a small amount of fear, as one would do. Though a deviant feeling of excitement was gradually overcoming it. Beidou cursed herself for this, but she knew playfulness was in her nature.
A quietness lingered in the air for a few moments, as if both women were quickly thinking of the next steps in their plan. The armed woman's voice cut through the silence, relaxed, though cunning. ‘Member of the Crux, I suppose?’.
Beidou kept silent, slowly removing her right hand from the edge of the wooden dresser and down to the holstered dagger at her hip. These predicaments weren’t anything new to Beidou, her years of sailing the seas and gaining more enemies than allies proving that. Her movements always became almost cat-like in these situations. In this case, her hands would find the handle of her dagger like a cat stalking its prey, only to then unleash her violence as soon as she had hold of it.
‘Not a smart move’. Ningguang said, her eyes studying the path of movement of Beidou’s right hand.
Beidou stopped, still looking at the empty display mount in front of her. ‘You might want to give up wielding that now, hm? We both know you’re not used to fighting like this’.
‘You don’t know me as well as you think you do.’ She tilted her head, ‘Captain Beidou’.
A smirk creeping up on her face, Beidou turned around to her captor, her hands held up by her sides with an admirable confidence. This was the last situation where she’d want any of her movements to come across as sheepish.
Her eyes met with Ningguang's stern expression. ‘Lady Ningguang,’ Beidou said, straightening her back.
Ningguang’s eyes slowly scanned Beidou, taking her appearance in. ‘I heard talk of my political peers being stolen from in the past few months,’ Ningguang said, amused. ‘My guards suggested we increase security but alas, what sort of power do a group of trinket-hungry pirates really have anyway?’. Beidou sneered, trying her best not to take offence to Ningguang’s words. ‘You pose no threat to me, Beidou’.
She glanced down at the blade pointing to her chest, her eyes trailing the length of it back to the other woman’s face. ‘Really? Why not? A sword like this being used for your own defence, you’d think me the most dangerous woman in Teyvat’.
Ningguang eyed Beidou’s dagger holster once again; she wasn’t sure she could hold a fight against a woman who’d surely dealt in combat affairs more frequently than her. Her expression flickered with the slightest hint of uncertainty as she bit the skin of her lips. Causing harm to someone would only cause Ningguang more problems to deal with than she already had. Beidou also knew this, of course.
‘You didn’t wait here with the intention of killing me’. Beidou stated, lowering her palms to rest on the dresser behind her. ‘Only to interrogate me, right?’.
Ningguang lowered the katana from Beidou’s chest. She examined it before she set it down on her bed behind her. Beidou noticed something then; a change in Ningguang’s expression. The features of her face became softer as she looked back up at Beidou, crossing her arms over her torso. Was it a look of defeat? A look of tiredness? She couldn’t exactly tell. And as much as she hated it, Beidou was starting to feel sorry for her. She was familiar with the stress it took to run an entire pirate crew. She couldn’t fathom the responsibility of handling business endeavours for an entire nation. Her guilt started to get the best of her. ‘I think you’ve won this round, Lady Ningguang, I'll tuck my tail between my legs and leave’. She started adjusting the gloves on her hands. ‘No need to do it for me, your Highn-’.
She was cut off by the quick and sudden movement of Ningguang walking closer to her, stopping as soon as she could practically feel the heat radiating from Beidou’s body. A few seconds of silence followed, Beidou staring intently at Ningguang’s face, wondering what she was up to. Ningguang hesitated, she herself also wondering the same thing.
‘Lady Ninggu-?’ Beidou asked in confusion, as a decorated silver hand slowly traced its way up her arm and face, stopping at her cheekbone.
Ningguang’s eyes met with Beidou’s. ‘I've heard many tales about the criminals you call your crew, yet they all failed to mention the beauty of their captain.’ Her finger guards traced the outer of Beidou’s eye before they glided down her jawline. ‘How could a gem such as yourself be so cruel to the unsuspecting?’.
Beidou found it hard to figure out what to say next, but she can't deny she was enjoying it. Being intimate with people was nothing out of the ordinary to Beidou, but high royalty? This was a new one.
She gave a low hum of a laugh. ‘Except for the simple fact that you were suspecting it’.
Ningguang’s grip tightened, lifting Beidou’s chin up as if she were a trophy to be examined. ‘Precisely’.
Beidou looked down at her face, admiring the warm orange light bouncing off her features, contrasting to the dark blue of the night sky. She found it increasingly hard to keep up a dislike for Ningguang in the position she had her in. She snaked her hand up Ningguang’s arm, gently pulling her hand away from her face. It was her turn to take control. ‘You know, Lady Ningguang, I came here with the intention of stealing inanimate objects, but it seems the most valuable one can talk back to me, why is that?’. Beidou’s hands and eyes found their way to the side of Ningguang’s hip, fidgeting with her glowing geo pendant.
A hint of a smile crept up on Ningguang’s face. ‘You flatter me, Captain Beidou. Do you speak to all of your victims in such a manner?’
Beidou looked back up, meeting Ningguang’s ruby eyes once again. ‘Only the ones who catch my eye, princess’.
A sudden burst of fireworks erupted from outside the window, interrupting the intimacy that both women seemed to be enjoying. A beautiful display of Liyue’s warm red and yellow colours, marking the end of the Lantern Rite festival. Ningguang’s eyes darted to the impressive show and cursed under her breath, knowing that she should be there to celebrate another prosperous year for her nation instead of dealing with more personal affairs.
She swiftly brushed past Beidou, taking her hand and guiding her towards her direction. Ningguang picked up a golden necklace from one of her jewellery mannequins and handed it to Beidou. ‘I suppose I can’t leave you empty handed’.
Beidou inspected it before extending her arm to hand it back. ‘No, really,’ she looked at Ningguang longingly, knowing these were the last moments of their strange, though comforting, interaction. ‘This chat was enough.’
Ningguang encased her hand around Beidou’s, tightening the necklace in her grasp. ‘I insist. It’s worth something for your crew and besides, I can always buy another.’
She made her way hurriedly towards the open doors before she stopped, resting her palm on the frame and taking a glance back at Beidou. ‘Tell me I'll be seeing you again.’
Beidou smirked at her imposing request and rested her hands on her hips. ‘If our greetings will always start with a blade to my back, then hopefully not.’ Beidou replied playfully.
Ningguang smiled, looking out the window at the continuation of fireworks, then walked out the room. ‘A charmer, Captain Beidou, a real charmer.’
It took everything in Beidou not to follow Ningguang and stick with her for the rest of the night. You came here for one thing, remember?, she thought to herself. Beidou studied the necklace in her hand once more, unclasping the back of it and reaching up around her own neck to wear it. She wasn’t sure if her crew would call this a successful mission, but she sure knew it was.

What characters in genshin would be doms and what they would be like?
ok this is non exhaustive list, dont come at me if i didnt name ur fav
ning, obviously. she doesnt yell "SUBMIT!" at every burst for nothing. ning is a nerd, but shes not humanities nerd, she's a spreadsheet nerd. she designed her own version of chess. she's not gonna do 10 pages backstory for roleplay, she's gonna do like. mechanics challenges instead. shes gonna have custom made weirdly specific toys and gear and make u do obstacles test and chuckle at ur struggles. very big on making subs "earn" smth. u have to deserve her strap. otherwise will make her three girlies fuck u and sit there, watching and smoking her pipe. will leave in the middle if not entertained. sometimes gets in the mood to bottom, like with the shit they pulled that one lantern rite with her saying go tell beidou her reward is waiting ;) she's still in charge tho.
yelan, obviously. bondage, obviously. we all saw the trailer. yelan is for ppl who want to feel controlled 24\7. she knows ur whole browser history. she knows if u touched yourself. she will appear in a locked room and punish u for being bad. will walk her subs on a leash in public and humiliate passersby's who dare to object.
neuvi is overcareful and awkward outside of the scene, but during the scene he has the same naturally commanding presence as at the trials. most of the kink doesn't actually do anything for him, bc he doesn't get human taboos. like he has a line about how its normal for vishaps to drink each others blood, his standards for whats provocative\forbidden is waaay different. so he's both very open minded in some sense and harder to communicate with in others. he can sense human emotions, so he's mostly into this for feeling pleasure of a partner. also i hope u love inherent eroticism of the sea
lisa mostly does the soft mommy thing, but she also has very pronounced sadistic streak and is into punishment, esp electroshock. source: her quest, lightning torture ppl emperor palpatine style for being late with books. ok lisa calm down, keep it in the bedroom
yae miko is in local bdsm clubs harassing most inexperienced dogboys into forcefemming bc raiden left her on read for 10 days in a row
kaeya is a switch, prioritizes being his partner's wish fulfilment, but overall loves prolonged teasing, to take everything out of the sub so that at the end of the session every nerve ending is wrecked and aching and still not enough
honorary mention to zhongli. i dont know him like that, so cant elaborate, but i agree with ppl theres a vibe
chiori had 5 seconds of screen time, but i think she has the vibe too. the doll play, outfits, control, but not in punitive yelan style, but in like. her favorite toy that she likes dressing up and spoiling.

Drawing a Liyue character every day until CNY day 2: Xinyan!
Tumblr media
OTP(s): Jinyan/ Yunyan! (Xinyan x Yunjin) :3 one of the most underrated ships in Genshin, I didn’t ship it at first but it grew on me the more I read each of their lines about each other.
Relationships I like with her in:
-Xinyan and Childe. Pls can we have more interactions with them
-Xinyan and Kazuha and Beidou (all 3 haven’t interacted together yet but Xinyan works well with both)
-The Blaze Lilies! (I really loved those two together :3)
Things I like about this character: Xinyan is the realest Genshin characters, and her morals/ideals align the most with mine than any other character. Her guitar looks a lot more like pipa rather than a guitar, and I really like the way it looks and how it manages to sound like an electric guitar despite Teyvat not having electricity. Events are made 1000% better with Xinyan (pls mihoyo can we have another Xinyan centric event-)
Meta stuff: C6-ed. I’ve tried so hard to make her a pyro defence dps, but I think until I have a 5* claymore with a crit or defence main stat it isn’t really viable. I only tend to use her in the Mondstadt talent domain which she is unbelievably cracked at. I guess she’ll only become meta in Snezchnaya- actually that isn’t true, I used to play burgeon Xinyan for a bit when Sumeru first dropped which was pretty OP, except burgeon requires very specific set-up which is a bit finicky for my liking.
HCs: Xinyan fishes a lot and is very good at it, as well as just being well adapted at sea from experience and instinct. In another life maybe she might have been a member of the Crux. She hopes Childe will show her how to ice-fish one day~

Thinking about.... Thoma
i have had this idea for like two three months already and was not confident it would look great written down. but with motivations from my dear bestie, i thought why the hell not and decided to do it.
P.S
this actually took me three days to make--
thoma x reader
female reader
fluff, mentions of long distance relationship, sexual content and alcohol, very very mild cursing (like once)
Little backstory:
y/n is diluc's sister and she's in charge of dawn winery's innovative and international marketing. and basically she went to inazuma to conduct a research for the winery's novelty. thoma was her childhood friend before he left for inazuma. they reunited during her stay in inazuma and due to the vision hunt decree, a target has been placed on her back leading her to hide in the Kamisato Estate. after the decree was lifted she stayed for a while before heading back to mondstadt to help with the preparation of the weinlesfest festival uwu.
Tumblr media
"Are you sure you got everything with you? Why don't we check your stuff again," Thoma fussed as he walked over to Y/N's bags to assess its contents in the guest room she has resided in for the past few months. Y/N rolled her eyes and followed him, "You don't need to worry about it, Mom. I quadruple checked them last night, so I'm pretty sure I have everything."
Thoma glanced at her before he dropped his shoulder in defeat, "I-I'm sorry. Maybe I'm anxious about you already leaving just when I finally got to see you again and... Ah, please ignore what I was trying to say." he fretfully confessed. Y/N exhaled and felt her heart drum against her chest, it did pain her to leave but she still had duties as Dawn Winery's marketing manager. She reached out to grab the back of Thoma's shirt, "Hey... I know this is hard for you, it is to me also. But I promise to you that I will come and visit once a month and stay for at least a week. We can make this work, please trust me. Trust us, Thoma."
The blond turned to face her and saw that she looked ready to cry so he extended his arms and embraced her. "I do trust us, Y/N. I'm just...going to miss you a lot," he whispered against the crown of her head. Y/N looked up at his green orbs before her eyes darted down to his lips and Thoma saw this and took it as a hint to lean in for a kiss. The kiss lasted for as long as they could breathe and when they parted, Y/N whimpered as tears fell down her face.
"I don't want to go," she cried as she held onto him tighter. "But I'm an adult who is in charge of a company for booze so I have to go help my brother." Y/N pitifully whined against his chest.
Thoma laughed at her as his own tears started to roll down, "That's right, you are, as you always put it, a strong independent woman. And now you have another responsibility to return to."
With those words uttered by Thoma, Y/N cried a little bit harder and said the something along the lines of 'I hate being an adult'.
<<~~~~~~~~~~>>
On the morning of her trip back to Mondstadt, Thoma held her hand the entire time waiting for her ship to be ready to go. He rubbed his thumb against the back of her hand as he watched the sun rise.
"You know, with the amount of times we watched both sunrise and sunsets together, this is probably the worst one yet," Y/N grumbled to him. Thoma simply hummed as an answer as he watched Captain Beidou approach them.
"Good morning, love birds! The ship is ready to go in a bit so you two better say your goodbyes now," Beidou greeted the two of the then her red eyes caught the marks on Y/N's neck and gave Thoma a mischievous look. "But it looks like you already did one hell of a farewell last night."
Y/N's face turned as red as her face as she sputtered excuses as to what the marks were while Thoma awkwardly laughed. Beidou let out a loud laugh and waved a hand so Y/N would stop, "I'm just messing with you. What you should be worried about is your brothers' reaction when they see those."
The lovers froze as they realized that the captain was right. Y/N looked at Thoma while holding back laughter, "Well, it was fun while it lasted, Thoma." she teased him bringing Thoma out his thoughts. He sighed and pinched her side which caused her yelp, "Please don't joke about that, Y/N."
A pout formed on her face as she looked back at Beidou, "He can be such a huge meanie sometimes but that's exactly my type." Y/N bantered to Beidou in which the captain shook her head in amusement and Thoma cleared his throat. Just as Y/N was about to add more, a crewmate ඞ approached Beidou and announced every thing was ready for the trip back to Liyue.
"Could you please give us a minute, Captain Beidou?" Thoma requested solemnly as his grip on Y/N's hand tightened. Beidou nodded in understanding before she left them for their final adieu.
As soon as Beidou was gone, Y/N swiftly moved to hug Thoma tightly while attempting to sway the both of them sideways. Her lover laughed at her actions before he hugged back and kissed her head, "Write to me as soon as you get there safely, okay, darling?" he whispered to her. Y/N, once again, had tears slowly gather in her eyes then bobbed her head as she could not find the strength to speak without her voice cracking.
Y/N felt Thoma's hands move from her waist to her face, his gloved hands cradled her as he gazed into her eyes lovingly, "Can I please get a verbal response from my sweetheart?" he goaded as a smirk formed on his lips. Y/N rolled her, now dry, eyes while she blushed a pale shade of red, "Way to ruin the mood but yes, I promise to send a letter to my dear lover even if I have to use my brother's eagle if I have to."
Smug from her answer, he placed a chaste kiss on her lips, "Good girl."
This man was testing her patience. With a growl, she gripped his face and gave a hard kiss on his lips before she turned around and left without glancing back at him. She heard Thoma's joyful laugh that filled her heart with happiness as she boarded up to The Crux.
She watched as Thoma's figure began to get smaller as the ship moved away from Ritou. With a final wave of her arm, Y/N moved to sit on the ship's deck, heart weighing like a thousands of bricks.
Unaware of the footsteps that advanced towards her, she curled up into a ball and mumbled out her objectives once she steps foot on to Liyue Harbor. "You might want to get rid of those marks to save your brothers from getting a heart attack," a gentle voice interrupted her. Y/N moved her focus to the person who was standing in front of her and squinted her eyes from the brightness of the sun.
"Oh, hey, Kazuha. Still traveling with Beidou?" she asked the young man. Kazuha smiled at her before proceeded to offer his hand to help her stand up. Y/N thanked him and accepted it and was immediately lifted onto her feet. "Well, the life of traveling has become my life after years and staying in one place didn't feel right for me," Kazuha explained to her as he watched her pat the dust off her pants. "And must I repeat what I said about those markings on your neck?"
A snort left her mouth as she placed her hands on her hips, "I heard you the first time, no need. Also, Kaeya would applaud me like the supportive brother he is. Diluc, on the other hand, would be the one having a heart attack." Y/N clarified. "Also, yes I do need to get rid of these. I just don't know how." she added sheepishly. Kazuha chuckled and nodded his head, "Yes, of course. Do forgive me for assuming wrong." Kazuha gestured to the ship's accommodation, "If you could follow me, I can help with getting rid of those for you."
"Oh my Archons, please. I can handle my brothers well but definitely not Adelinde's persistence." Y/N groaned and moved to follow Kazuha.
"Oh um, why do you know how to get rid of hick--"
"Don't worry about it." :)
<<~~~~~~~~~~>>
A week has passed since Y/N left Inazuma to help with the preparations for Mondstadt's Weinlesefest Festival and she had finally successfully created a new drink exclusive for the event namely the Fruits of the Festival.
Y/N then found herself seated on Dawn Winery's dinner table alongside her two brothers, Diluc and Kaeya, The Traveler and Paimon. It was an extremely rare moment (read: never) to have both her brothers sit on the dinner table and enjoy a meal without them attempting to go at each other. The Traveler and Paimon shared their adventures in Liyue and Inazuma then explained to the two men how they knew their sister.
"Oh, that's right! Before we left Inazuma, Y/N mentioned something about wanting to reconnect an old bridge with an old friend. How did it go with Thoma, Y/N?" Paimon innocently queried.
The sister's attempt in getting a small spoonful of her Moon Pie failed miserably as her fingers slipped and her utensil flew off her hand and onto the floor. Her brothers directed their attention back to her, one with an accusatory look and the other with interest.
"Thoma as in the boy who gave you a flower crown when you were 5? He's alive?" Diluc grumbled as he leaned in onto the table, his red eyes staring into his sister's soul. A chuckle sounded from her left, "Well, Diluc, do you know any other boys our dear sister has ever been with?" Kaeya poked fun at their eldest, placing his head on the palm of his hand. "There are more boys?" Diluc deadpanned.
Y/N buried her face into her hands in embarrassment and silently cursed at Paimon and her blabbing, "Yes, Diluc, the same boy who gave me the cecilia flower crown and Kaeya please don't make this worse."
Adelinde neared her side of the table and quietly placed a new spoon for her to use as she tenderly rubbed her back as if to noiselessly encourage her. She whispered her thanks and leaned back on her chair and looked at Diluc, "I will try my best to give a brief 'summary' of what exactly happened to me in Inazuma and spare you the...intimate parts."
"Oh? You have been intimate with him then."
"I would appreciate it if you do not open your mouth for the rest of the night, Kaeya, if you don't want to take Thoma's place from being throttled."
After a not-so-long explanation of Y/N's Inazuma exploitation which was mostly interrupted by Diluc's unnecessary comments and Kaeya's teasing remarks which made Y/N blush hard.
Diluc eyed his sister with squinted eyes as he tried to process the information she gave him. After a minute, he eventually gave in and slowly stood up from the table, "So long as he protected you and is trusted by the traveler, I will trust him as well. However, before I give my final verdict, I would like to meet him."
And with that said, he trudged away the table and up to his office. The table was silent after Diluc left but quickly recovered as Y/N let out a loud groan. "Oh my Archons, that was more difficult than confessing my feelings." she whined as she grabbed the bottle of wine and poured more into her glass. "At least you managed to tell him without those lovey-dovey details you gave me," Kaeya mused as he took a sip of his wine.
Paimon nods her head in agreement, "You got that right! It was almost sickening to witness the so-called confession when all they did was kis-"
"PAIMON, ZIP IT BEFORE I TURN YOU INTO A STICKY HONEY ROAST!"
Kaeya laughed at his sister going at it with the traveler's flying companion. His shoulders weighed less now that he sees his sister safe and happy, "I will be rooting for you and Thoma, dear sister. Wouldn't want to see you at Cape Oath once again slaughtering the poor slimes."
Y/N seized her body and her fingers hastily found each other and began to fidget, "...Well, if Thoma isn't the man who can make me feel this way, I wouldn't miss him so much that it almost hurts. Almost-- DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT, PAIMON!"
"If that's the case, should we expect a little niece or nephew any time soon?"
"Kaeya for the last time--"

The Windcoming Day has finally arrived and the people of Mondstadt gathered around Springvale for the toasting ceremony, their spirits filled with radiance and elation. However, Y/N was not feeling the same spirits as them as she walked towards the Statue of the Seven at Windrise. Y/N bowed her head and held her hands together, her silent prayer to the Anemo Archon flowed along the wind.
"I knew I felt a familiar presence nearby!" a friendly voice chirped from behind her. She sighed and turned around and saw the green-clad bard gently smiling at her, "Why did I think you wouldn't hear me?" she rhetorically asked under her breath.
Venti placed a hand to his chest in feign hurt, "What kind of God would I be if I would not be able to hear my children's prayers? Of course I'd hear you! I normally just don't show up in person." he playfully answered her. "So what ails my dear child's heart and who is this lad that managed to pull on your strings with such vigor."
Y/N exhaled and hugged herself before she responded, "It's not that important, really. I just...miss him much more than I thought. I have never really felt like this before with my past, uh, partners." she woefully mumbled before she shook her head. "Ugh, why am I even telling you this when you should be worrying about your so-called appearance later as Barbatos."
The Anemo Archon walked up to her and stood next to her, his green eyes wandered up the statue, "You know, I'm actually surprised you came here and prayed to me. I haven't heard you pray in years, made me believe you lost your faith in me."
"If I were to be honest with you, I did lose my faith after two very important people in my life within a week." she confessed quietly to the Archon next to her. "However, after witnessing how you worked when Dvalin was brainwashed by The Abyss Order, my faith seemed to return little by little."
She felt Venti stand a bit straighter as his ego rise, she rolled her eyes and placed a hand on her hip. "My faith in Barbatos returned, but my faith in Venti? Yeah, I'm not so sure about that." she teased him.
"Your words wound me sometimes, Lady Y/N! Never mind that, I would like to hear more of your troubles before we set off to Springvale for the toasting ceremony." Venti offered, a smile on his face emerged as he saw Y/N facial features softened at the thought of her beloved.
<<~~~~~~~~~~>>
"Do my eyes deceive me or is that Miss Lisa I see?" Y/N expressed playfully. Lisa giggled at her, "Oh my, hello there Miss Y/N. Fancy seeing you at a festival for once. Is it safe to assume that you don't have any work to do?" Lisa poked fun at her, her signature smirk formed on her lips. Y/N waved a hand at her, "Please, I still have to go and check Angel's Share's stall in a bit to make sure every thing is going smoothly. Are you here for Razor? I spoke with the traveler about them helping the poor boy recreate the wine his late parents made."
Lisa sighed as her eyes softened a bit, "Yes, I actually came here since I was still concerned but I spoke with my little wolf cub and reassured me that the wine-making went smoothly." she disclosed to Y/N. She nodded her head, feeling relieved to hear that it went well.
The two continued to chat until the Acting Grand Master stood up on the small stage set up to greet everyone and announce Venti's performance.
As Venti performed, his soothing voice drifted along the wind as too his lyre's tune. The audience was silent and watched him beautifully presented his composition.
When he finished, the crowd applauded him as they preached, "To the Anemo Archon!"
Y/N robotically excused herself from Lisa and silently moved to their stall. She would've approached the traveler's group, but she felt ill and anxious at the joyous event being held as she never really was one for such affair.
She busied herself at the back of the stall, checking the amount of barrels they had in stock as she was feeling restless. When she was about to clean the countertop when she felt the wind pick up, the stall's bell chimed along. She moved her hands to tie up her hair when she heard a whisper that came along the wind.
"Ease thy heart filled with woe; for the wind has brought home your beau."
Y/N froze and her heart sped up its pace, "What do you mean by that?" she whispered, half expecting Venti would respond, as she finished up tying her hair. She continued to clean the countertop in an attempt to stop thinking about what the wind whispered while she inaudibly cursed at Venti for sending the wind instead of himself, footsteps approached the stall.
She mentally prepared herself to interact with the customer and mustered up her best customer service voice, "Welcome to Angel's Share! What would you like to- Holy shit!"
Immediately she slapped her hands to her mouth, ignoring the stinging pain on both her hands and face as her eyes felt hot as she stared at the person in shock.
Thoma gave her his best smile and waved, "Hi, I would like to have your special Fruits of the Festival please. Oh and if it's allowed, I would love it if I could speak with the barkeeper." he requested gleefully.
"What are you doing here?" was the smartest sentence she gave to him. Thoma chuckled and pulled out a sheet of paper, "My Lord actually bought me ticket behind my back and said something along the lines of 'take this long overdue vacation back to Mondstadt and enjoy your time their at the festival' before he practically kicked me out hahaha."
Without any thought, she quickly moved out of the stall and wrapped her arms around him, "What the hell, remind me to punch Ayato in the face next time." Y/N mumbled as tears managed to escape her eyes. Thoma hugged her back tighter and swayed them side to side.
They pulled back and Y/N immediately grabbed his face and kissed him to which he reciprocated. The people whistled and cheered at the couple while The Traveler and Paimon covered Klee's eyes.
"You're here," she whispered against his lips as soon as they pulled apart, her thumbs rubbed the apples of his cheeks. "How long would you be staying here?" she asked.
Thoma mirrored her motions and smiled at her, "I'll be here for a really long time, darling."
Y/N's breath hitched as she looked up to her lover's eyes, "What do you mean by that?" she asked him. Thoma held her hands and leaned into her touch, "My Lord not only bought me the tickets for a month's of vacation but also offered a proposal that within the month I can choose to either stay here for good or I can return home to Inazuma. I had enough time to think about it on the way here and I chose that my home is where you are." he explained to her.
She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Thoma chose to stay with her in Mondstadt when he has told her countless times that he felt at home in Inazuma despite being homesick. "Wait are you sure you don't need more time to think about this? Where will you stay? Does your mom know you're back? Oh my Archons, I haven't visited your mom yet either-"
"Darling," Thoma interrupted her rambles. "Like I said, I had enough time to think about this. I will be staying with my mother before getting my own place to stay, so you don't need to worry about that."
Y/N bit her lip as she contemplated the situation. She has dreamed about this moment and now that it's happening, she began feeling unsure. She shook her head to get rid of the negative thoughts and smiled up at him, "You have no idea how long I've wanted you to come to Mondstadt with me."
Thoma laughed and kissed the palm of her hand, "I'm pretty sure you have been asking me for months back in Inazuma." Y/N moved her hand to fiddle with the collar of his jacket and smirked, "So I really got you now, huh." she teased as she leaned in for another kiss.
"You really do got me, Mi'lady. I'm all yours."
"That's really cute you're using that tone on me right now but I think you have to meet my brothers first before we do anything here."
"O-Oh, right."

Give me my Beidou x Yn :/
“Alright, the films gone.” Gaming sighed, eyes dull as he drew the camera back.
“Seriously? It took ten minutes to even get everyone in the same proximity,” Xingqiu threw his hands up in frustration. “Give me it.”
He shrugged, looking just as exasperated. “It happens, we’ll just have to get another one…from the store ten miles away.”
You, who had been trying to corral everyone around, turned around and grinned. “We can always take it with a phone instead.”
“You’re so right, but we’re trying to go for quality.” Xingqiu pointed. “Alright, spread out. It’s going to be a while until we get this right.”
Bennett, who had been fidgeting with the heart decorations, sighed in relief. “I feel like I’m a light pole right now.”
“You had to be the chosen one. There wasn’t anyone else whose undertones go so well with pink.” Beidou said.
“What does that even mean..?”
The staff were all getting ready for their annual Valentine’s Day photo at the restaurant. It was a casual photo taken for the next’s days promotion of their limited edition sweets they bake. It was going to be a busy day, so they collaborated a little party before all of them were at each other’s throats in the back.
You had the best time of all decorating with your employees, making everything spick and span, readdressing anything that seemed out of place. The walls were covered with garlands of delicate pink and streaks of red cascading through the whole bakery. There was a soft glow from the pink fairy lights they hung on the decorations, tables covered in crisp white linens and rose petals.
The windowsill had tiny decorated hearts. The hearts were similar to plush and cushioned in your hands as you grabbed one. You felt a sense of accomplishment, turning towards Beidou who was stapling the event posters to the blank side of the wall.
"Might I have your heart in the palm of my hand?" You asked, awaiting for a reaction, but Beidou turned around once you got her attention and rose an eyebrow. You opened your hand up to show her the heart, grinning cheekily. "I never knew it was so small!"
She gave a small huff of a laugh, crossing her arms against her chest. "Are you flirting or insulting me?"
"The pun didn't really go well," You lowered your head. "I think I lost my touch...if I had one at all."
"I liked it," Beidou said with a wink, tone playfully alluring. She took a stride forward to rustle your hair, your eyes looking away abashed. "But you'd have better chances just asking me out."
"Are you offering...?" You hesitated, a nervous laugh coming through. You weren't sure if what you were asking was to jest or not, but your face failed you, your cheeks heating up. "Was that better?"
Beidou's lips parted in speculation of how genuine you were before smiling. "Tell ya what. If you're still single in a month, I'm next in line. Express pass." Her shoulders squared, her index and middle finger giving a soft jab at your forehead before going back to checking the decorations.
You stood there frozen, jaw dropped wide. You tried to keep your cool, though. You just had hard time remembering what you needed to do again.

pspspsps hey dori has always kinda icked me but I could never really put into words why. why do you, personally, dislike her
alright so. hopefully here isn't a secret dori fan society that doxes me and eggs my house, but i think personality wise, she falls flat. now i'm not looking for the depth of a shakespeare character in my genshin impact video game, but c'mon. her sole personality trait is wanting money. at least some of the most shallow characters in genshin have perhaps... two personality traits... but not this one. it's just not a cute gimmick. idk.
take ningguang, for example. both her and dori came from poverty and rose to a higher position through hard work. despite ningguang being a shrewd businesswoman herself, there's far more to her than that. she's described as being on friendly terms with the children of liyue, having no mercy for those who'd do her country harm, utilizing a vast information network that spans all over teyvat, her unique dynamic with beidou; then of course her role in liyue's archon story. her choosing to sacrifice the pinnacle of her achievements, the jade palace, showing that she prioritizes liyue above all else... i could go on and on. so many intriguing elements.
then there's dori. she uh... talks about liking money a lot. every voice line about other characters mentions money. her voice line upon death mentions mora. every voice line from other characters about her mentions money. haha it's a funny gimmick right? haha. there is Nothing interesting happening there. zzz. insanely boring. i feel bad for kaveh who is just some Guy that will perpetually be in debt to this person who knows firsthand the detriments of poverty. i normally have nothing against morally ambiguous women who mess a dude up for funsies (makima is a good example), but dori has nothing interesting going on for her.
and her voice makes my ears wish they could go back to a time where they had never been disrespected by the soundwaves she shrieked out.

ꕥ 𝙔𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙭 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙜 ꕥ
While I do ship Beidou x Ningguang, I feel like Yelan x Ningguang would have an interesting dynamic.
Tumblr media
Hear me out
Yelan gets her hands dirty for Ningguang. She doesn’t mind putting her life on the line whenever the Tianquan needs someone to do her bidding behind the curtains.
Yelan also personally reports to Ningguang and they’re the only two people who know what’s going on and what needs to be done. Ningguang is the only one who knows about Yelan’s operations, and Yelan is the only one who knows that it’s Lady Ningguang who sends her on those assignments in the first place.
I can picture Yelan being injured after an operation and refusing to go to Bubu Pharmacy because she can’t think of any more excuses to get medicine without being caught. Instead, she goes to the Jade Chamber and resorts to Ningguang.
Ningguang can’t leave her personal agent unattended when she’s the one who sends her to put her life at risk in the first place. And besides, she does care about Yelan’s well-being.
The two have spent countless hours in Ningguang’s office reading through confidential archives, trying to make connections and look for potential clues.
They’ve talked about topics and cases that only the two of them know about, they share secrets and Ningguang trusts Yelan enough to maintain the secrecy of who’s her boss.
So of course Ningguang is going to take care of an injured Yelan when she knows that she’s the only person Yelan can turn to without having to hide the source of the injuries and the true nature of her job.
She’ll personally treat Yelan’s wounds because I’m guessing Ningguang’s assistants in the Jade Chamber don’t actually know about these confidential assignments, and they’ll surely start asking questions or begin rumors.
Ningguang will patch Yelan up and order her a good meal, most likely letting her stay the night in one of the guest rooms inside the Jade Chamber (if not her own) so she can keep a close eye on Yelan and make sure that she’s alright and healing.
Yelan, of course, appreciates the gesture and might send Ningguang some flowers a few days later, once she’s fully recovered.

Good sir, may I request a Kazuha x gn!reader.
(SORRY IN ADVANCE IM A RAMBLER)
And it's the reader wanting to go sailing with him too but is really on the line with it, and it's just Kazuha softly coaxing them to join the crew before they leave the docks at the end of the week. He's let Beidou know in advance that he's planned to convince you.
On the last day at the docks he stares at you from the ship eyes slightly narrowed in an 'I know you want to' smile. While you're staring from off the ship. The crew is cheering for you to get on, as Kazuha lifts up a bag showing you he had clothing and such packed for you just in case you wanted to come.
(By the way the two of you are pining and sort of aware of feelings. Kazuha is the one that's more forward with his flirting and closeness with reader. THE CREW KNOWS HE' IN LOVE WITH READER.)
楓原万葉 : "sailing with clouds" ft. kaedehara kazuha
distracted from the task of flower recollection, you rambled on and on about what goes beyond the world from what you could see from the mountaintops situated in liyue, he confidently listened to your fascination, letting out tiny chuckles at the sight of you laying in the grass with the sun gently grazing your features, bright sparks of light shining in your eyes. "i see you're full of passion and interest for traveling, perhaps you could join me in the crux sometime." you just felt your cheeks warm up at the thought.
ever since then, kazuha has been trying to get you to join him, each passing day he'd retell his adventures in other nations to you and you couldn't help but feel enthralled by the captivating stories filled with wonders told by a charismatic narrator, he'd accompany said stories with little trinkets from those regions, letting you keep them once he saw how excited you got over them. you would close your eyes and imagine the endless possibilities, shivering with the imaginary breeze that could hug you aggressively when riding on the crux. at that point you were certain that the next time kazuha asked you to join him, you would say yes.
then say it.
he watches you from onboard, a gentle smile adorning the peaceful aura that he emanates every time he catches a glimpse of you. he looks so dreamy when he smiles like that, a complete contrast to the bustling and hustling going on down at the dock right where you are partially standing. one foot behind the other as if you're calculating the right time to take flight up in the air and catch yourself in kazuha's arms.
your mind running wild to what would happen if you just leave everything to get on that ship, kazuha sees the doubt and doesn't wish to press any further if you're not sure, silently hoping the crew wasn't so loud at expressing their fervent desire to have you join them. "if ya don't get on this ship right now, i'll start throwing fish at ya!" / "come on board before it's too late!"
come on board before it's too late. kazuha repeats in his mind, narrowing his eyes at you with a teasing smile, he could see the gears turning in your head as you switch your gaze between the crew, the board, and him. the loud liyue wharf makes the decision fuzzy as you have no time to think, would it be too rash? too risky? you take two hesitant steps, how many days will you be gone? who's going to feed the few stray dogs you made friends with?
you stop in your tracks, abruptly remembering that you have no spare clothes nor any of your belongings with you, "I don't even have my stuff!" you loudly tell him so everyone else can hear it too, the crew boos you lightheartedly. sensing your distress, he chuckles with his eyes closed, "you're right! what would we do without this?" and reveals what appears to be a big bag from behind him. he shows it high in the air so you can discern the distinct shape of your highly unused traveling bag.
how many times have you longingly stared at it, tucked away in your closet? probably too many to be embarrassing. yet right now, as it's being shown off to you, filled with all the necessities for a week-long journey, you smile.
kazuha mouths something to you, you can't hear it because of the noisy laughs and joy of the crux's crew but you think he might've said something along the lines of "surprised?", you shake your head looking at him and finally take a more confident step.
he waits for you to get on, and walks towards you to help you get through a large number of people that just started surrounding you. you laugh at their teasing coos for finally deciding to join them just for kazuha, and once he gets closer to the circle they just get louder.
he extends a hand to you and everything seems to stop as you take the sight of his rosy cheeks and bashful smile in, alabaster hair practically glowing against liyuean sunlight.
"thank you. for joining me, this will be a journey i'll never forget, my dove."
