Got possessed last night by the unshakable urge to bind some of my fics into books
#wish me luck!#i want to bind the tetrad mysteries ofc and try to make them into a more-or-less matching set with motifs on the covers#i also want to bind axis and the longfic i'm working on. won't be finished for a while yet but it's a goal#it's so nice to have physical archives and also it just feels special to make something of your own#been watching videos about fic binding and i wish it didn't make me feel so weird that people will bind other people's fics#as in they're fans of a fic so they decide to bind it into a book. which should be fine but also did you ask for permission from the author#seems kind of weird to just have someone else's fan fiction on your book shelf#but then again it's kind of a form of respect. like you liked the fic so much that you want to keep reading it forever#so idk
