Hero Generation part 7

Nightmare is in control.

He is in control of himself.

He is in control of his emotions.

He is in control of his soul.

He is in control of his lackeys.

That’s how it’s always going to be.

Nightmare had been alone for a long time after the incident. His mind was clouded by a storm of raging emotions, and amidst all that chaos, he struggled to stay sane. After all, he had killed everyone… everything. He was truly alone now. He had become the monster they always believed he was.

There was no going back.

He had destroyed his relationship with his brother. He had broken his own body. He had shattered his world.And so, he fled into the multiverse.

All he had known was gone. That was when it started

With Dream's absence, he had no need yet to store Negativity, so his mind focused on something else His fascination with broken things.

He couldn’t fix what he had done, soto ease his pain he tried to fix everything else.

It began with simple things: a vase, a glass, a broken window.

He found peace in those little puzzles. They were just temporary distractions, but still

Being able to fix something eased his guilt and helped keep him sane during the hundred years of exile.

So when he traveled the Multiverse and heard a cry for help A cry begging to be fixed

How could he resist?He did what he always did

He picked up the broken thing, brought it home, and tried to fix it.

But this time, it was different. This one was a real challenge. Those black eyes were filled with so much pain, it never stopped leaking out of him. No matter what he tryd the drops still fell.

Annoying.

Eventually, even with that inconvenience, he was satisfied with the result.

And so, he had a new task.Suddenly, he had company to keep him sane. Suddenly, he had a ×friend× a henchman.

But soon, he realized that the new addition still wasn’t okay. Maybe something was missing. So he tried again. He collected another broken one and hoped that would do the trick.It kind of did—But it also made life at the castle very difficult for Nightmare.

But it also brought back wonder and excitement into Nightmare's life.The new guy was quiet and didn’t fulfill Killer's annoying need for conversation, rather talking to himself than to Killer.

They called him Dust.

He called himself that. Suddenly, Nightmare found himself closer than intended to Dust,holding him, promising it would be okay, calming his panic attack. ( For his liking, he was too close but Nightmare couldn’t push him away.He saw someone begging for the hurting to stop.He wished someone had held him like that.) The original problem that Killer seemed closed off remained. To keep the peace, he had to collect a third broken man.Someone to keep the others in check.

There was a fourth one.

There was.

They dont talk about him

The day Nightmare brought the third one home and named him Horror was five years ago. And Horror was still an enigma to him. His AU hadn’t overloaded him.

Nightmare made sure of that.

(Not because he really cared about Horror, but because it was useful to have an AU under his control.)

Horror brought his own challenge to deal with. Mentally, he was more stable than any of them,but physically, he was in the worst condition. His bones were fractured, his spine crooked, and his skull… well, broken.

Still Horror had his issues.

On his first night, he overate,and Nightmare had to stay with him in the bathroom. Maybe he was wrong for that,but all he thought about while Horror hung over the Toilette was how pretty Horror's skull was and how much he wished he could puzzle it together again...

Unlike Dust and Killer, Horror still wanted to visit his old home. Nightmare allowed it. Because, after all, he was still in control.

He was in control of his soul.

He was in control of his emotions.

He was in control of himself.

Always.

Or so he thought.

Now he sits in his office. A baby screams next to him. He has lost control over everything again…

and so he forces himself to write the report of the day

Report: Day 183,294

The last few days have been troubling for me and my team. Killer and I took a stroll in the garden. Horror planted new vegetablesthey will soon ripen.

When we entered the living room, both Killer and I felt immense pain in our souls, I assume there has to be a connection.

My soul felt like a part had been ripped out of it.

At the same time, I felt a shift in the balance of our multiverse. But as soon as the pull happened, it shifted back.

My eye-light went dizzy, and my breath quickened. It took a few moments to collect myself again, when a scream was heard. In Dust's arms layed a small baby, formed out of energy collected from both mine and Killer’s souls.

Killer later studied both our souls and assured me that we’d be fine, and that the kid was fine as well.

I created a baby.

The others gave him the name: Crescent Moon. I locked myself in my chambers for hourers.

Eventualy they got me to meet my "heir " as they called him

Crescent has grey bones with turquoise marks one in the shape of a crescent moon -i asume that was the Inspirationfor for the name-. He possesses two tentacles.

Did I curse this child with my destiny?

What will this child grow up to be?

These questions circle in my head and rob me of sleep.

I hope both Horror and Dust can look after Crescent in the next few days.They once cared for their brothers in their home AUs,They must know waht to do.

To make the situation worse, Error finally decided to form an alliance with me…So now he and his son have joined us.

Something is not right with him

It worries me. His emotions don’t seem right. I ordered Killer to check on him and Crescent daily. Im intrested to find out wahts wrong with him Maybe it just scares me

Waht if i lose more controle then i already have?.

Dark Dream sans

more like Hopeless

In a multiverse where Nightmare holds immense power and positivity is nearly extinguished, Dream weak and struggling must embrace more hedonistic and unconventional sources of happiness he would normally avoid, just to survive and restore balance to the multiverse.

Dream can draw energy from all forms of happiness—so he does.

To fight back, he begins to farm what he calls dark joy. Drugs can bring massive joy for a short time, and he feeds off that energy. He sets up “pleasure dens” across the multiverse to cultivate more of it for himself, as fuel to resist Nightmare’s growing empire.

He doesn’t discourage drug abuse, he incourages overconsumption, excessive partying—even if it means indulging in bad habits, gluttony, or escapism.

This surge of short-lived but powerful happiness becomes his shield. It allows him to push forward in battle even wehn it also makes him feel empty. But it also means he's dependent on these highs to recharge, both emotionally and magically and that hes losing himself.

He becomes like a drug himself to those under his realm offering euphoria, escape, and indulgence. He genuinely cares about his followers, but knows he’s not good for them. Still, he can’t back away anymore. They’re addicted and so is he.

On bad days, Dream either immerses himself in the dens, fulfilling everyone's desires to satisfie them, or escapes to a Lusttale a place to relax.(i think Lusttale is safe for Dream becourse Nightmare avoids it in my opinion) There, he might share a drink with Lust or Papyrus. someone he genuinely adores, someone who still tries to make their world a better place.

This version of Dream would have a strained relationship with Ink.

Instead of being close to Swap, Someone he cant look in the eyes anymore scared that he would also become addicted.

He might have formed an alliance with Fresh.

Fresh is one of the few who can freely enjoy Dream’s parties being immune to his aura and able to easily swap hosts. (Btw Fresh still hates Drugs in this and brings others to indulge in more healthy ways) (both to have a better host and for Dream to like him more)

Dream allows Fresh’s presence, as long as he doesn’t interfere with other guests and truly adds to the fun. To Dream, it’s a lesser evil (letting Fresh find a host then forcing them under his influence forever)

Over time, Dream sacrifices his morals just to keep fighting. In doing so, he becomes a manipulator himself, refusing to let Nightmare win at any cost.

I could even imagine a toxic Dream x Fresh dynamic as in

Fresh constantly encouraging Dream to keep going, while Dream slowly loses himself. To Dream, Fresh becomes the only one who isn’t fake his one constistency his light house, which makes him dangerously dependent.

Cross could also be deeply addicted to Dream not just emotionally, but in a way that borders on obsession. Cross, desperate and hopeless, clings to Dream to help him, to feel close to him. In return, Dream clings to Cross to avoid feeling alone. Both are broken, and their connection makes them worse. (I like Cream so angst Cream is always something in the back of my head)

Maybe Cross ends up affected like in that AU where Cross and Killer become blissed-out, happy zombies under Dream’s influence. (Does anyone remember the name of that AU? I can’t recall it)

passed out for a couple of hours and when i woke up this was on my canvas

if it's not evident, I did not plan this at all

This started more like a sketch for logic to understand how to draw them and then i got bored and I started to doodle the other skills and this is what ended up

I want to learn how to simplify all of them in a cartoony style... it's not really working

these are 100% just for me but whatever

also thinking to draw some of the skills in cool clothing becourse I think that would be awesome
