#lego monkie kid#monkie kid#lmk#blue and violet#trust me when I say this was not supposed to be 20000 words long#I think the original draft had been like 15000#and then I edited it#and kept editing it because I was like 'wait hold on I think there are inconsistencies in the plot here#and then the next thing I knew the word count was staring back at me#I'm really nervous about this chapter though#because writing this in the Mayor's pov with all of their thoughts amd feelings was so complicated#I don't know if any of it even makes sense#but then I realise that literally nothing about the Mayor makes sense#the dude is like the only member of their species#nobody would ever think exactly the same way the Mayor does
