Trying to go to sleep last night, and my brain lit on the matter of casting in the Hunger Games movies vs the way characters were described in the books. The residents of the Seam have olive skin, straight black hair, and grey eyes. Who do I know who looks like that?

Well... olive skin and dark hair is very Mediterranean... my thoughts naturally turn to a certain Italian actor... some people perceive Luca Marinelli's eyes as grey... and all the garbage in Fabio's hair makes it look almost black...

so then I was imagining Fabio Cannizzaro in the world of the Hunger Games, and let's be real he would have loved it. He'd hate the Seam and District 12 even more than he hated Tor Bella Monaca, but the games themselves? Murdering people while getting famous and playing to an audience? That's his fucking dream, man.

Will I now be visualizing Haymitch as a messier, less-bald version of Luca as he looked while playing Mussolini? God I fucking hope not.
