anyway. enjoying la boheme A Lot so far. lovely music beautiful production design great singers. a lot funnier than i was expecting tbh i wonder how much of the humor will continue in the second act

#sasha speaks #it's interesting to see where and how rent copies from la boheme. since i'm very familiar with rent but this is my first time seeing boheme #like in places it's quite literally beat for beat the same yet in other ways rent adds a lot to its first act that is not in boheme #and i suspect there will be more in boheme's second act that is missing in rent...probably part of why rent isn't that good imo lol #(there are many factors.)#anyway. they're actually filming the performance tonight #because they're going to broadcast it for free in the fall at the nationals stadium #you can sit on the field at the ballpark and watch the opera #and boy. if i'm free that night i am Definitely going. that sounds like a blast #and i already know i'd be happy to see this again
