i hope hollywood collapses under the weight of its own hubris
#specifically thinking about the strikes last year#and that one guy who blatantly said they were literally just planning to hold out until people started losing their homes#writing is the BACKBONE of the film and television industry and hollywood desperately doesn't want to pay their writers#modern cinema is a hellscape where 90% of what's made are mediocre sequels spin-offs or remakes#new raw talent has to claw their way in around the flood of nepo babies that can't act or write and have no real talent or charm#they're just born with connections and enough money to fall back on that they risk nothing by shooting their shot in the industry#because they're GUARENTEED to get something without much effort to be good at it
