I had an idea that I'm toying with for like... some HD edits of various models in the game.

Just for the hell of it really, the scope of what I have in mind isn't something that'd really be moddable into the game.

The idea for how I wish to edit them is as follows:

• Textures at least 2x the size, made crisper and cleaner (pictured: my progress doing that on Jorg).

• Normal maps and specular maps.

• Eyes similar to many MikuMikuDance models (the iris being a 2D plane that floats around in a white "socket"). Brows might be MMD style too (2D planes floating just in front of the face) or I'll just rig the forehead like on realistic models.

• Mouths actually openable and posable for smiles/frowns/lipsync.

• Hands fully separated, all five fingers individually posable (a lot of the actual models just have it like a mitten with only the pointer separate).

This is more just for fun and to make nicer fan renders/animations than with the original models. There's a chance I'll put em up for download in some format as I make them, but I need to see how I feel.

If I figure out how to do all these, I'll start doing characters bit by bit. I don't think I'd ever get to *every* character in the game, but I'd definitely make all the playable characters over time.

Characters beyond that I will make over time, if and when I personally need them for a render/animation. Reanimating some Killerman cutscenes sounds fun so I'll eventually need... Killerman, as well as Jason and Cunningham if I can even find them in the files.
