#because the previous arguments: it's just fluff thing -didn't super work for me because
I think I figured out the perfect lense for me to view We Are the Series with.
You know those webcomic, that have vignettes and they are all slice of life stuff. The characters are consistent and you might slowly learn some stuff or they go through mini emotional arcs and growth. And the relationship(s) are the selling point of the entaire thing. There isn't a single one connected story beyond tellings a period of the lives of this characters and their relationships to each other.
We are the series is like the live action version of that. And I mean this as a compliment, I enjoy those stories. It's just for a long time I couldn't really get into this, beyond the romances are cute and the friendships are amazing. I have loved watching the people of my dash love it and write about it. But for a long time it low-key bother me the show didn't go any deeper with any of the character stuff.
But with this new framework it's sort of interesting again. It's not as deep as I like it, but that is ok, I can enjoy watching this like I enjoy reading slice-of-life vignette style webcomics.
