#because logically speaking I can't tell you how the farm system has worked for a millennia

After reading Kei Toda's book The Promised Neverland with a British/American Literature Scholar, specifically the third chapter focusing on gender:

I personally find it more thematically satisfying if it's the first option to further drive home the dystopian horror of the series equating a human's worth not only to arbitrary measures of intelligence via the narrow and rigid standardized tests the children at Grace Field are forced to take, but also to bioessentialism so the dissolution of the farm system can act as a rejection of both.

It feels very odd to me if the narrative makes a point to voice how boys are discard (during the present at least) and shows the casual indifference to the deaths of so many girls who try to rise to the rank of sister (described most plainly in Krone's chapter of the second light novel:)

would turn around and then be gender affirming to trans girls (and again, the feminism in the work being tied to the rejection of this system).

Name: Argentia Rosa

Age: 17

Fox: Silver fox

Rose: Metal Rose: Her rose from how it seems to me-represents an eternal love and care that can't wither or grow old but at the same time can be cold and unbending in its form. 

Physical description: She is a silver fox faunus with dark brown skin, polished silver eyes, and a heart or triangular shaped face with two fox ears atop her head. They are mostly black but fade to silver as they reach the tips. Her messy curly hair is colored mostly silver with streaks and patches of black throughout her silver locks as tangled within them are a pair of bronze rectangular colored goggles.  Her hair stops right above her shoulders as they sit upon a black head scarf with a silver thorn design wrapping and coiling around the fabric. Her body in itself is voluptuous and toned as is shown by her muscular arms and torso. Speaking of which she normally wears a light grey, oil-splattered tank top with a black coat tied around her waist. On her legs are a pair of very baggy faded blue jeans which are tucked into brown steel toed boots. Oh and in her right hand is a black-brown blacksmith glove.  Hanging atop her waist is a bandolier of different spherical traps, gadgets, grenades and tools that can be deployed at a moments notice

One of the most eye catching things about Argentia is that her left arm is replaced by a mechanical one. It is made out of a silver metal with coiling gold rose thorns etched across it. With it being beautiful to behold on closer inspection through the gaps of the arm seem to be moving metal parts constantly in motion in a beautiful display of engineering.

Personality: she is blunt and to the point, time is precious and she only has so much so best not to sugar coat. If something is wrong or you've messed up she doesn't hold back and will tell it like it is. She is innovative and imaginative as she's always thinking of how things could potentially work, the systems they require, the techniques needed to do something etc while she often imagines on what could be the possibilities for said thing. she is a workaholic and loves blacksmithing and anything to do with her craft in building, fixing and just plain technology as this can lead her to forget everything and everyone around her  if she isn't careful. This segways into one of her flaws where she can be mechanical, detached, cold and more like a machine than person. She can be too logical at times and forgets about other's emotions and their feelings as people have always confused her. Machines come easy but people are maddening and don't have an easy pattern or guideline. Another one is that she can be easily annoyed and does tend to throw spare hammers at her annoyances like a chancla. Her last flaw that I can think of is pride. She is very prideful of her work and will tend to get heated about varying levels of criticism. If you hear her mechanical arm clicking be prepared to run or evade because something will get hurt. I guess another one could be a short temper but this normally rears its head when her pride is damaged or when something annoys her

Weapon: she uses her black smith hammer which can extend and shift into different weapon types with its transitional parts. Her favirites being sledgehammer, and pike modes for distance and reach. This weapon uses gravity dust in many ways. Whether it be in suspension, launching, weighing, or pulling and pushing.

Semblance: destroy and repair: basically anything she hits with her aura on something it gets disassembled into shambles before it is put back together in how Argentia sees fit. Hemce why she often uses gravity dust in her weapons. With it being suspended it allows and easier way to pick and choose what goes where and how it should be changed or edited

Her relationship and history with oscar: I was gonna have Argentia be a big sister to Oscar and basically act as a kind of protector and mentor in a way. An idea I have is that often time when say a farm tool got to old or broke without warning, or if they needed a new tool to use on the farm, Oscar's aunt would usually send him off to go into a small village's mechanic, and metal work shop to fix or buy a new tool. And there would be Argentia and her family willing and ready to help. Argentia being a few years older than Oscar became endeared to him after his few short visits as she was working at the front she would talk to the boy and learned that he had an interest in mechanics and building things so, interested in the boy Argentia took Oscar under her wing and began teaching him about machines how to operate and build them etc. Argentia takes quite a shine to oscar because unlike most people she's met he's one of the few where she doesn't feel like a cog outta place so she quickly became protective and endeared to him as their families took notice and gained a better relationship. For her it's rare to find someone she naturally hits it off with and so Oscar was a very much welcomed change of pace. 

Argentia has protected Oscar on many occasions whether it be a bully or an occasional grimm if it were small enough, in those cases they each played as mock huntsman as they killed them. And involved in that at some point a group of large grimm attacked the village the Rosa's lived on while the pines where visiting. And with that evacuations had to be done. And while they were evacuating Argentia's parents were sadly killed by the swarm as they now set their sights on her and the pines. One grimm managed to close in on her and Oscar but not wanting to lose another person she cared so early for once again on the same day Argentia moved oscar out of the way as her left arm was bitten off by a Grimm. After the Grimm attack Argentia was rushed to a medical facility where they patched her up as she was taken in by the pines and adopted because one she just lost her parents who were good friends of the pines and because she risked her life to save Oscar. 

And through that their sibling relationship grew as Oscar and his Aunt helped bring Arge out of her depression bit by bit. Until she was for the most part back together again. Through this she began to try metal work and mechanics once more as her and Oscar probably scoured multiple books with interest. And from this she made a metal prosthetic arm that was shown in an atlas magazine with help from Oscar. But not being one to copy Argentia made her blueprints and accessories entirely from scratch, she is prideful after all. And while she designed the arm Oscar and her made a homage to Arge's late parents by designing and etching rose thorns  all across her new arm as best they could. 

Argentia loves Oscar dearly and would never allow anyone to harm him whatsoever. Because he is her little brother and is her new family. And this time she will never  let them go again.
