I have finally watched the proposal video, how did it happen:
watched Blake's audio for the possible lore (really really wanted Sunshine to taunt him/make fun of him about the friend thing);
metaphorically looked myself in the eyes and asked "So you watched Blake on the first day but let David's proposal stew there for three weeks?"
braced myself and watched the proposal;
it was fine.
