What is a good iteration of a cross-continuity MegOp?

Conversely, what's one that looks bad?

Honest I'm usually pretty damn up for whatever, I love this ship for it's many different flavors and adaptations

One I've seen in the past and played with a bit is TFP Optimus x IDW Megatron

TFP Megatron x SG Optimus (though that was a specific au of ours)

I've seen TFA Megatron x TFP Optimus before, though that might go in interesting directions in the long term

I've seen TFP Megatron x TFA Optimus in a pwp oneshot but I can't promise that'd work out well for them in the long run (which hey is totally an option)

I've definitely seen (was it IDW or G1? It's been a bit) Optimus x SG Megatron and oughhh I still need to finish that fic up

IDW Optimus x earthspark Megatron might be crunchy in fun ways

G1 Megatron x SG Optimus might also be fun

(there's a lot of ways you can go with the shattered glass x baseline pairings!!) (Baseline being my word for not shattered glass / regular continuities)

TFA Optimus x G1 Megatron might be fun
