Crafting delayed once again by Slightly Low Blood Sugar :/ Good news is, having this issue flare up this bad when my blood pressure is not having issues is really helping me start to figure out how to tell the particular shades of lightheadedness apart! Bad news is the "a little low, eat very soon" blood sugar symptoms for me are very, very close to the "blood pressure VERY low sit down NOW" symptoms. Which means my blood pressure is fine but over a decade of experience is telling me I absolutely should not be using a rotary cutter to work on blankets right now for might fall down reasons, and I can't quite bring myself to distrust that, so crafting is delayed
Today's crafting goals: - more progress on a flannel project (either at least ironing the fabric for the next blanket, or cutting more flannel squares for the rag quilt) - weaving in ends on the rainbow crochet baby blanket - moving one knit or crochet project upstairs so I can work on it while upstairs (that's either the lovey or a beanie, I think I have some partially completed beanies around - at least start the process of tracing the little mushroom guy pattern so I can share it, even if I don't start sewing one yet
#the person behind the yarn#this issue is flaring up because I had two stress-related health flareups in less than a week#it's been a long long time since that last happened#so I'm really not surprised to have lingering symptoms but it is frustrating#because I am pretty sure I'd be okay? but rotary cutter is above even knives on the 'don't use when might fall down'#list for me. like. iron is also up there on that list#but rotary cutter is the top and I want to work on things but should err on the side of caution#for 'that's my blood I need to keep it' reasons#so far I have never injured myself with an iron or rotary cutter because of collapsing while using them#and that's a streak I'd like to keep! I did have a leg buckle when using the rotary cutter once#but I was able to catch myself on the table with one hand and slam the safety back on the rotary with the other#that's not quite the right verb but idk what fits better so I'm going with it lol
