so as it turns out reclaiming the exact same bit of grogged clay over and over is not good because you will shave off parts of your hand while trying to throw with it. you learn more every day
#at least i got to throw two okay ish bowsl before quitting bc it hurt#hm anyways#i already had that happen before and i just couldnt figure out why#but yeah it does make sense#bc u use so much water which makes the new clay break away and leavinf the grog#so you end up with an overwhelming amount of grog in not so much fresh clay
