Okay so for the first few episodes of Ahsoka I was like BLEGH what is this?? she's so serious and melancholy? Her lightsaber fights are so boring? Where are the acrobatics? Where are the dumb jokes and nicknames?? Where is my girl, you've ruined her??

BUT THEN THE FLASHBACKS

THE LIGHTSABER FIGHTS FELT LIKE THE CLONE WARS

SHE LOOKED AND ACTED LIKE AHSOKA

AND SHE CAME BACK AND SUDDENLY SHE WAS SMILEY?? AND SASSY?? AND JUST SEEMED SO MUCH LIGHTER??

#I was so sad that she wasnt the character we remembered#but gotta give credit where credit is due#it was smart to build her up like that#bc OBVIOUSLY she wouldn't be the same girl she was in the clone wars#but as she faces some of the trauma she can come back to that person#just a lil bit
