I match myself with Rengoku Kyojuro!

i really really like him, i think that if we met in real life we would get along well! actually, a while ago i made a small self-insert story in a modern au where i get to meet Rengoku! it's lowkey embarassing for me to share it because it's something i like to enjoy privately, but i don't see why not!

headcanons & scenarios !

rengoku and i go to the same college.

he studies to be a history teacher and i study to get the technical degree in geography.

i am a transfer student in Japan.

“I used to see him walking around college, I found out he was studying history because I saw him walk into the history block. I never really payed attention to him at first but one day it happened that I was in the university's dining hall and someone started screaming "umai!" multiple times all out of the sudden, so when I turned arround to see what was all that noise about, I saw Rengoku eating an... interesting amount of food. I was quite impressed but I didn't want to be disrespectful by staring at someone eating so I kept eating my food, finding the guy's behaviour hilarious.”

we met personally in a history class we took together a few days later.

he forgot his pencil case.

—Excuse me!— I got frightened for such sudden yell from a person I barely saw coming.

—Yes?— I turned my head to my classmate.

—Is this seat taken?— said him keeping his high tone of voice, pointing at the chair next to me.

—Ah? No, no. Sit— I said calmly and stared at him when he sat down, surprisingly, he was the same dude I saw at lunch the other day —Oh, you're the guy yelling at the dining hall the other day—

—That's right!— he said while sitting down.

I nodded and started to put out my books and pencil case as the teacher arrived and everyone started to get quiet. You could still hear the other classmates speak in low voice but that didn't bother the teacher because he could give the class normaly. But minutes later, that intense voice startled me again.

—Excuse me! Can I borrow a pen? I forgot my pencilcase— why didn't he lower his voice? he was going to get in trouble.

—Mr. Rengoku, if you keep talking like that I will have to ask you to leave my class. This happens almost everyday— said the teacher kinda annoyed at his usual student for speaking outloud.

—すみません! (Sumimasen!)— he apologized and kept quiet.

I laughed lowly at the recent events and the guy looked at me with a slight smile. After that, I gave him one of my pens.

—Here— I whispered while smiling at him.

—Thank you!— he now gave me a wide smile closing his eyes, I couldn't lie, this dude was very cute, and funny!

Big loud and funny, yeah, we love that.

We exchanged a few whispers to eachother along the class and worked together in an assignment. He introduced himself as Kyojuro Rengoku and after that class we had lunch together, I could see in front row how he would yell “Umai” after every bite he took and I honestly can get used to that, Rengoku is a great company actually, he always has something to talk about and makes me laugh so I guess I'm adding a new friend to my circle!
