Mega Man Battle Network/ Digimon
Wanderer Of The Net
ACDC- Den City Main Hub Area
The Main Hub was currently buzzing with chatter from all sorts of Navi's, more so than usual. Chatter and gossip were abound all across Hub Area and it all was set off by one post on the Community Board in the Main Hub Area.
Attention all Operators and Navis! There have been recent reports of strange Navi sighting across multiple City Net Areas. The Official Net Battlers Association has yet too ascertain whether or not these Navis are a danger too others. All are advised too stay away from these unidentified Navis and also from a completely cloaked Navi that is always seen with the unknown Navis and presumably commands the Navis. If you come across any of these Navis, do not engage and please notify the Net Battlers Association.
Thank You- Net Battlers Association
That post had captured everyone attention including a heroic duo.
Lan Hikari and his Brother/ Navi Mega Man
The heroic brothers had faced off against a number of threats that seeked too destroy there world. Agents of both World 3 and it's Leader Dr. Wily. The organization known as Gospel which turned out too be a puppet of a rebuilding World 3 and Dr. Wily that all eventually ended in them facing off against Alpha, the prototype of the Cyberworld and deleting it saving the world from a disaster.
So Lan and Mega Man could very much spot a potential threat from how many they have had too deal with.
Which is why the brothers were currently discussing the post with each other and what too do next.
Lan: I don't like this one bit Mega this has too be something bad. Strange Navis, A Hooded Figure! All this just screams bad guy!
Mega: I know what you mean Lan. All this is raising red flags for me too, and I know what you're thinking Lan. You wanna chase after these Navis and that Cloaked Figure but jumping head first into a situation isn't good either.
Lan: But Mega I can't just-
Mega: Lan I said jumping in head first isn't a good idea, but I didn't say not too go after them.
Lan:!!! You also want too go after this Mega!?
That was a surprise too Lan, Mega was always the one that wanted too try and leave this too the Official Net Battlers before wanting too get involved when the situation seemed too be getting out of control.
Mega: I do! After everything with Dr. Wily, Alpha, and Bass I want too try and stop these guys before they get too destroy and cause mayhem. So looking into a potential bad guy like this is the first step too stopping Mayhem.
Lan let a huge grin adorn his face as he cheered.
Lan: Oh Yeah! Let's do this Mega Man! Let's find those Navis.
The rest of the day was spent researching and asking around the Hub Area about any information or rumors. Also thanks too Mega Man reminding Lan that he could ask the Net Battlers Association for information on the strange Navis because Lan and Mega Man are Z Rank City Net Battlers. Lan just face palmed when Mega reminded him of that, seriously how could he forget that he has a License.
The next day the data file was sent too Lan and Mega Man about all the information the Association had on the Strange Navis.
Lan: Alright let's see here… Usually do not stay in one area….appear when a Virus Swarm show up….no known data breaches or network failures caused by them….Ah! Here we go! Known areas, ok they appear around Den City Central Plaza Hub, Den Town's Shopping District and Radio Station, North Elec Town, and ACDC Beach Street. Ok well it's useful knowing were they been but waiting around for a siting could take forever and by the time we get there they could be long gone.
Mega: Wait there is a bit more at the bottom about their locations…" Currently at the time of this report, the unidentified Navis have been sighted around the DenDome Shopping Plaza"
Lan: That's great! They could still be around and with it being the Weekend we have all the time too spare.
Hopping too his feet Lan moved of his computer chair and got ready too head too the DenDome.
Lan: Alright Mega are you ready?
Mega: Ready!
Arriving at DenDome took Lan no time flat and going too a nearby Terminal, Lan had Mega go into the Net too ask around this areas Hub too see if anyone had any information. Unfortunately for the brothers all the information the Navis had were either rumors or general information, nothing that could point the duo in a concrete direction. After about a half hour of talking and patrolling Lan and Mega Man thought it best too take a break at a nearby Hotdog stand.
Lan: What a bummer! We over a half over patrol and gathering information and we got nothing too show for it.
Mega: Ya you got that right. I would have at least thought we catch a lead of some sort by now or at least a recent sighting. Maybe they already left or something….
Lan: Well if that's the case were back too square one than, because we are not gonna have something thrown at us that will just lead us too th-
" AAAHHHH"
A panicked cry rang out that ended up startling the 2 brothers. Lan looked around a bit and saw people looking at there PET'S with a worried and/or scared expression.
Mega: LAN!!! We got trouble! A virus swarm broke through the areas fire walls and are attacking everything in sight!
Lan: WHAT!?!?
A Virus Swarm breaking through a Hub Areas defenses was very rare and for a multitude of viruses too do so meant one thing.
These virus were being led by someone!
Mega: Lan we gotta go delete those virus quick before they start deleting Navis and going after online systems!
Lan: On it! Mega Man I am sending you an Invis and Wide Sword Chip, find the one that's commanding the swarm and delete them, that should stop the viruses attack with no too guide them. Also help any Navis and Progs that need it ok?
Mega: On it Lan!
With that Mega Man got too work looking for the Boss of the swarm while saving any Navis and Progs that couldn't escape the Viruses. Mega asked a few of them if they knew from what access point the Viruses were coming from and a couple Progs came through with that information.
Mega: I am heading for the North Gate now, that's were the Viruses are pouring in from according too the Progs.
Lan: Alright Mega be careful and I am also sending a Bubbler and a Air Shot now for you.
Mega Man gave a Roger too Lan as he moved forward too the North Gate. After beating some other viruses there he went too the North Gates Hub Area too see a ton of Viruses. Too many Viruses that would take too long too defeat if Mega wanted a chance too catch the cause behind this.
Mega prepared his Buster when a Meldoy Virus jumped down at him only for the a shout too catch both his and the Virus's attention.
" FIERY FASTBALL"
At incredible speeds a fire ball came rushing towards Mega Man's direction only it was not aimed at him. The fireball struck the Melody and did enough damage too the Virus too delete it.
Mega and Lan were both in shock at what just happened and when they looked over in the direction of the attack they saw something very strange. A small red and white dinosaur standing upright, with earphones and holding a Microphone Stand. The being didn't hang around long as it ended up chasing after other viruses going up the west path.
Lan and Mega new in a instant that that must be one of those strange Navis that had been reported and the ones they were looking for. Both brothers instantly gave chase to the strange Navi wondering if they had any connection too those strange viruses. After fighting there way up the path they eventually were able too catch up too the strange Navi and were shocked by the sight of 2 other strange Navis and a cloaked individual.
They all were currently fighting off the various Viruses including more intermediate Viruses. One was giant rabbit looking Navi that stood tall and could transform there hands into axes, the other was a wizard looking Navi that was shooting electricity at the viruses. The last of the group the cloaked figure who like the reports suggested was commanding all the strange Navis
The 4 of them worked swiftly and quickly too dispose of the Viruses including the Leader who was a Kilbo and soon enough the Leader was deleted.
????: Good work Shoutmon, Antylamon, and Shoutmon. With the Leader gone the Viruses should soon disperse or be deleted by the Net Battlers.
Mega Man and Lan took too hiding behind a wall too see what information they could get before confronting them.
????: Though…This Virus was very strange… it had Custom key program and Virus calling program, normal Viruses should can not make Custom programs and the Virus calling program seemed too be enhanced…hmmm.
The cloaked figure seemed too be deep in thought and both brothers deciding now would be a good time came out of hiding too confront them all.
Lan: Hold it! All of you!
Lan called out as all of them were startled and turned around too meet the determined gaze of Mega Man and Lan who appeared on a screen next too Mega Man.
Mega: All of you are the mysterious Navis that people have been talking about lately!
This caused everyone too look at each other unsure of what too do until the cloaked figure step forward and spoke.
????: Yes we all are. Why do you ask?
Mega: You have been causing quite a bit of worry among the populace and we wish too have you all come with us so that we can make sure whether or not your a threat.
At this point Lan and Mega were now unsure if the strange Navis were actually causing any trouble, they all were fighting against the virus swarm and from what the brothers gleamed from the conversation they seemed too be looking into the cause of the Virus swarm.
The cloaked figure just stood there a bit seemingly contemplating the offer before Shoutmon spoke up
Shoutmon: Going with you is out of the question! We barely know who you guys even are! How do we know this isn't a trap!
Shoutmon words caught the brothers by surprise but they saw a chance that if they did not get aggressive than this just might end with answers instead of questions.
Lan:….My name is Lan and this is my Navi Mega Man we are City Net Ballers with a License Z.
Mega: We came too DenDome Hub Area because that was the last report about your know whereabouts. We did not come here fight, if it can be helped we just want too know who you all are. It has been causing concerns for quite a lot of people as of late as well as the Net Battlers Association. Please we just wish too know who are.
Hopefully the cloaked figure and their companions could tell him and Lan were being sincere about what they said, if this could end without trouble than that would be a major win.
The cloaked figures expression was hidden but the strange Navis were surprised by the names of the brothers.
????: Lan and Mega Man… The ones that defeated World 3, Gospel, and World 3 again….alright just give me second too talk this over with my friends.
In a surprise for both Lan and Mega the cloaked figure went too talk with the other Navis who regularly looked back at the Heroic duo. The talk only went on for 1 minute before the cloaked figure turned back too the brothers.
????: Alright we all have come too our decision. We will go with you Lan and Mega Man, your heroics against World 3 are proof that we can place are trust in you.
The cloaked figure walked towards Mega Man with the others following close behind.
????: And since you did introduce yourselves too us, it would be unfair if we also did not tell you who we are.
The 3 Navis behind the cloaked figure began too introduce themselves as Shoutmon, Antylamon, and Wizardmon. Finally it was the Cloaked Figure's turn too tell the duo their name.
????: Seems like it's my turn now so….
The Cloaked Figure removed their hood too reveal a… Human!?!? A Human that was around Lan's age too!
" My name is Sleuth! Nice too meet you!"
Lan and Megaman have encountered a wild Sleuth. I don't blame anyone for being concerned about potential danger when you consider all the stuff that has gone down in the first three games. Luckily the duo have some extra help to solve the mystery involving those strange viruses.

Hints
Secret Boss
Get to level 100 and collect all Navis chips. Then, go to Den Area 3 to access the warp to the secret Boss.
Combos
Combine the following chips in order to create the corresponding Program Advance:
Big Heart: Repair + Recov300 + Roll Double Hero: CustSwrd + VarSwrd + ProtoMan Dream Sword 1: Sword + WideSwrd + LongSwrd Dream Sword 2: FireSwrd + AquaSwrd + ElecSwrd Dream Sword 3: FireBlde + AquaBlde + ElecBlde Giga Burst: Spreader + Bubbler + HeatShot Greatest Bomb: LilBomb + CrosBomb + BigBomb Guts Shoot: MetGuard + DashAtk + GutsMan Machine Punch: GutPunch + ColdPnch + DashAtk Star Shower: SoniSlsh + GravHold + StarArro Stream Arrow: DoubNdl + TripNdl + QuadNdl Zero Counter: HiGuard + ZetSaber + Zero Zeta Cannon: Cannon + HiCannon + M-Cannon Zeta Ratton: Ratton1 + Ratton2 + Ratton3
Defeating Guts Man
Have Roll, Vgun, Shotgun, and Cannons. First use Roll, then let him attack. Dodge it, then use any Shotgun, Vgun, or Cannons. When he attacks again, dodge it then attack. Do this rapidly to win and get the battle chip Gutspunch.
Defeating Gravity Man
While on your way to the Zero Account, you will discover many tough enemies, including Gravity Man. This Navi can be very difficult to defeat. Make sure that you have at least a few Half Energy Subchips (useful when low on health). Also, make sure to have a lot of projectile weapons, such as Cannon, Hi Cannon, Shotgun, etc. When you begin to fight him, you will find that his main weapon are energy balls. To dodge these, jump up and down. You will switch between standing on the ceiling and ground. Then, when the time is correct, use a projectile weapon. If your health gets low, use a Half Energy.
Defeating Fire Man
Have Water attacks and plenty of Swords. First, weaken him with Aqua attacks. Next, use a Sword attack. The moment you use it, jump backwards and dodge his body flame. Do this rapidly and win the battle 2 by 4. First, destroy a lot of viruses in Lan’s computer. Jack in and out several times until you have 3,000 Zenny. Go to Higsbie’s store and buy at least two AquaSwrds (three recommended).
Defeating Bright Man
Have a lot of GuardInvis, HighGuard, ShldGuard, and Guard chips. He has a shield. In order to do damage, you must hit him after he does a attack. The Guard and related chips will turn his attacks in to shock waves and send them at him. He will not reflect them. Do this numerous amount of times to defeat Bright Man.
Defeating Bass
Before attempting this, have five Invisibility Level 3. Go to Battle Simulator at the park and get all the opponents’ Navi chips, including Proto Man. You wll get an email from Mayl, telling you about an extremely powerful Navi that was spotted at Den Area 3. In order to battle, you must have several double jumps, five Color Man Navi chips, M Cannon (as well as other projectile weaponry), and all the armors. Go to the teleporter that leads from Den Area 3 to Global Area 1. Use multiple double jumps to go to the top right ledge. Pick up the Slasher on the way up. Enter the green teleporter when you are ready. A Navi in a cloak will appear and attack. Do not toy with him. If you have Color Man, use it immediately to get rid of his energy shield, which also determines his elemental attacks. He attacks mainly with Seeker Energy. When his shield is down from Color Man or the opposite element to his shield, attack with Projectile chips; regular and charged attacks have no effect. About a quarter of the way through his HP, the battle will end and you will receive the Bass Navi chip (Attack 60, MP 64, attacks all enemies on screen and destroys shields). He cannot be fought again.
Duplicating Navi Chips
If you wish to have more than just one Nav Chipi, go to the Net Battle Simulator. Battle any Navi you wish to have. However, in order to get that Navi you cannot use a Navi Chip in battle. You can only use regular Battle Chips and Restore Chips. Also, you must defeat the Navi quickly. This works best with Fire Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, and Color Man. It is difficult to get other chips because some of the Bosses take too long to defeat.
PopUp Chip
Go to Pharaoh Man’s stage. Near the middle, there is a long hallway with rising spike platforms. Over one of them is a hole with a blue data diamond object and some money on the right. On the left is a ladder going up into a small room. For this trick to work, you must have full health. – Going up into this room with some health missing makes you fight a brown dog. He only gives you a Recov300. However, if you have full health you fight a purple/pink dog that will yield the battle chip called PopUp. Killing the pink puppy is the most difficult part of this trick. Stand in the middle at all times. Do not worry about using chips on it. All attacks do 1 damage. Wait for him to pop up and shoot him with a normal (B) shot. He will drop down and pop up somewhere else (and sometimes where he was before). Do not let him drop down without shooting him or you will have to start again. If you make a mistake, go down to the teleporter, go in, then come back and fight the pup all again. All in all, you have to shoot him a lot. PopUp allows you to stay invisible and invincible for a set amount of time. This is the key to the easy game. For example, if you set this chip to default and go to the Navis in the park, you can get an “S” rank instantly by not taking any damage in the battle (just charge and shoot).
Navi Zero Chip
Before battle with Zero, go to the Global Area 1 (where you must go to defeat the Bosses to get the pass codes underneath their warp points for their levels). When you get to Global Area 1, look towards the bottom left. You will see a giant yellow data there. Go there and get it. You will have to take the path under the green Navi that tells you that the Undernet is ahead. When you get the data, Mega Man will tell Lan that this data is hard to read. Lan will then send it to his dad for research. Advance with the story until you get to Zero. When you get to Zero and defeat him, there will be a lot of dialog. Lan’s dad will appear, saying that the mystery data he sent him was a backup program for Zero, and that Zero does not have to be killed and can be turned to good. Finish everything, then the professor will appear and say that he has created a new life virus, and will soon hack into the world’s networks, take over the missile computers, and kill everyone. Chaud and Lan will jack out. Read the e-mail you get, and Zero will give you his Z-Sabe. He will also give you his own Navi chip. Once you get it, it cannot be duplicated and you cannot fight him in the Net Battle Simulator. You can call him out, giving the enemy three good slashes and a lot of health taken away.
Getting Navi Chips
If you go into your Net Battle Simulator, do not battle using any Navi. Instead, use your regular Battle Chips, Restore Chips. and Mega Buster to win. This works best when your Attack and Charge are all powered up fully.

The Gods of metal have certainly been looking after us all so soon into the new year. Before heading to our cousins in mainland Europe, The Avenged Sevenfold/Disturbed/In Flames tour is currently packing them in up and down the length of these shores. Crossing their paths on the same routes is what could be called the “Nuclear Blast Triple Treat”; headliners Sabaton, special guests Accept and opening act Twilight Force, currently all residing with the good folks at NB. Blowing into town the same night that all hell broke loose on Scotland’s travel network, the Swedes and Germans provided a welcome distraction from normality for a few hours.
I once took my kids to see The Krankies, together with John Barrowman, in panto. As surreal as that combination might sound, it was daft, silly fun. Swedish purveyors of ‘adventure metal’, Twilight Force could also be described as daft, silly fun. ‘Lord Of The Rings metal’, ‘Robin Hood metal’, or just plain old ‘dudes-in-hoods metal’ were deemed too silly and daft, so ‘adventure metal’ it is. In some instances, power metal and symphonic metal involve a pinch of salt along with a tongue firmly in the cheek, but these guys go several steps further than that. This is a Sabaton show after all, so inhibitions are checked at the door, as I screwed my eyes up and squinted towards the stage, and towards the guys cramped at the lip of the stage, struggling to make sure they don’t fall off. Sabaton’s production is so big the stage is cordoned off with a balsa wood wall, and the two preceding acts run the risk of going head-first into the first few rows. Twilight Force are risking ridicule with their cloaks, hoods, staffs, and at one point, a sword, but they seem oblivious to everything as they run through a short set in support of recent album ‘Heroes Of Mighty Magic’. Confident enough to not only attempt, but succeed at, some audience participation, it’s all good, clean, family fun, and at one point I’m certain I heard someone in the crowd shout out “He’s behind you!”. There are some decent songs on the album, ‘Riders Of The Dawn’ and ‘Powerwind’ spring to mind, but on the live stage the imagery is so in-your-face that, for me at least, they lose their charm.
Teutonic terrors, Accept, are welcomed onto the stage with a roar befitting the headliners, and judging by the amount of Accept t-shirts in the crowd, these guys are going to give Sabaton a fair old ding-dong of a battle. With a new live album to promote, the set is naturally culled from ‘Reckless And Live’. An incredible package, that should cure even the most ardent hater of live albums, it’s made up of four decades of Accept’s best loved tracks from the Dirkschneider era, as well as the current Mark Tornillo line up. It’s two songs from recent times that open the show, as ‘Stampede’ gives way to ‘Stalingrad’, the latter, a crunching blend of chugging guitars, old school metal, and beer hall vocals. The pit that has been brewing quite nicely, breaks off during the guitar break near the end, and everyone puts their arms over the person next to them and what can only be described as a fucked up version of the can-can ensues. Founding members, Peter Baltes on bass and legendary guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, look incredible. Many bands from decades ago that are still treading the boards today look out of shape and like they’re going through the motions. These guys are lean, fit, and healthy, and have me asking myself if these are still the same musicians that I first saw supporting Judas Priest way back in (cough) 1981? Man, I’ve let myself go! Musically, they are still on point and benefiting from the renewed sense of urgency that American Mark Tornillo injected into the band in 2009. Latest members, drummer Christopher Williams and guitarist Uwe Lulis also play an important role in the band by bringing some youthful piss and vinegar to the party. It’s a trip down memory lane for the vociferous crowd, as Accept steamroller through four decades of metal, ‘Restless And Wild’, ‘Fast As A Shark’, ‘London Leather Boys’ and ‘Metal Heart’ all hit the mark. Tornillo seems to be struggling with a sore throat as he reaches for the higher notes. It doesn’t seem to be anything more than a cold, and after an early night tucked up in bed, he should be as right as rain. The set ends naturally with what else but ‘Balls To The Wall’. During the finale, Lulis notices a drum stick lying on the stage and hands it over to a kid in the crowd who is dressed in full Sabaton regalia. A nice touch to end an amazing set.
The crew scurry about in darkness preparing the stage for Sabaton. The tank is under wraps. We know it’s a tank, they know we know it’s a tank, but it’s still a huge thrill when it gets uncovered. Steadily moving their way up in venue size over the last few tours, this is the largest Sabaton production to date, in the largest venues that they have played over here. The intro tape of ‘In The Army Now’ gives way to ‘The March To War’. Drummer, Hannes Van Dahl takes his place atop the tank which has kicked into life. Joakim Broden can’t be seen through the strafing spotlights, but we can hear him… “We are Sabaton, we play Heavy Metal and this is Ghost Division!”. The rest of the band bound on to the stage, and explode into a flurry of headbanging, windmills, and infectious energy. The massive video screen is flashing up image after image as the band’s logo rises from a wall of fire. Make no mistake, Sabaton have put their hearts and money into this show. Broden is his usual hyperactive self, and covers every inch of the stage during the first few moments. The crowd surfers are coming over the barriers already and security are in for a long shift.
No time to catch a breath as the screen works in tandem with the band as they break into ‘Sparta’, the first song of the evening from latest album ‘The Last Stand’. Sabaton are joined on stage by two Spartan warriors wearing nothing more than some golden budgie smugglers, helmets, and big bloody spears. Not to be outdone, Broden has done a quick costume change into a full on warrior head dress a la Gerard Butler in the movie ‘300’. It’s great theatre, and the crowd joins in with the chants of “Sparta” throughout the song. Sabaton are a great distraction from the day to day grind of modern life, and it surely must be a crime to be grumpy at one of their gigs? As they kick on through another new track, ‘Shiroyama’, people are smiling, pumping their fists, and raising their drinks to the sky. This is fantastic, switch-yer-brain-off, entertainment. That’s the key word at a Sabaton gig… entertainment. They put on a show, they give the crowd their money’s worth, and work their arses off to ensure that everyone leaves smiling. When Broden introduces ‘Swedish Pagans’, it sets off some frantic bouncing from the crowd, and from the viewpoint of the balcony, it looks the entire crowd is bouncing as one. The pit changes to a conga line, like a hairy-arsed version of a hen do in Blackpool, and it’s impossible not to crack a smile. Sabaton are wary of the fact that they toured only ten months ago, and want to make sure that they do something different. They have new material to air, but that’s not enough, so the crew quickly set up for an acoustic number. As Joakim mugs about on the piano, new guitarist Tommy Johansson takes over and the band chill out on ‘The Final Solution’. Again, it’s all about giving the loyal fanbase something different. Fans know that they will get ‘Carolus Rex’, ‘Primo Victoria’ and ‘To Hell And Back’, so anything that’s different is a bonus. Unsurprisingly, ‘Blood Of Bannockburn’ joined the last two tracks mentioned as part of the encore. The keyboard-heavy track was divisive when ‘The Last Stand’ was released. Unless you’re Scottish, chances are you’ll pass over the track, but in front of a partisan crowd, Sabaton can’t go wrong. There are collectors from the Poppy Scotland organisation in the venue tonight, raising money for ex-servicemen, and there is a great moment when Joakim gets one of them on stage. Saying that every country is good at sending people to war but not so good at looking after them when they return, so this was a worthy cause. Broden also says that people should give up the price of a drink, and as he likes to drink he would drop some notes into the bucket. It looks like over £1,000 was raised on the night for a fantastic charity, and again proves how generous the metal family can be. ‘To Hell And Back’ rounds the evening off in fine style, and the bouncing-as-one recommences. You would have to have been hard nosed not to have enjoyed yourself tonight, as it was a memorable evening in many ways.
What next for Sabaton? 2018 is the tenth anniversary of the ‘Art Of War’ album. Perhaps a played-in-its-entirety tour to celebrate?
