A night to (not) remember

When Kirishima opened his eyes that morning, he regretted it immediately.

The blinding light coming in through the window sent a jolt of pain directly to his brain. He thought his head was about to explode. He wanted to sob, but the sound that came out of his dry throat was sore and pained; he was so, so thirsty.

‘I’m never drinking with Mina again,’ he thought.

Little by little, memories of the previous night came to Kirishima’s throbbing head. It was a Saturday and everyone had decided to gather up for a fun, totally harmless movie night; he could barely remember what the film was about (it was Denki’s turn to choose so it probably wasn’t all that interesting) there were popcorn and waffles... but that had only lasted until about 10pm maybe, and then a bottle of vodka had appeared out of nowhere and, although Kirishima had never been a big fan of drinking, he was a social person, so when everyone, even Bakugou, had sat in a circle to play, he couldn’t say no.

After that, everything was blurry. He didn’t remember anything.

A loud beeping noise that felt like a drill to his temple brought him back to the present. Kirishima shut his eyes harder and extended one hand to where his phone should be on the bedside table. 

hemming-whay: u alive?

redriot: yeah, just woke up

hemming-whay: oh thank god, i was starting to feel sad for the loss of my good friend

hemming-whay: did u read the gc yet?

Kirishima tapped on the back-arrow to check his other chats; the blasty squad groupchat stood in first position with 234 unread messages. Kirishima groaned.

redriot: yeaa, not happening, 200 txts?

hemming-whay: well it was a pretty wild night

hemming-why: it’s good not being the main object of gossip for once ;)

Gossip? Kirishima felt a little more awake now.

redriot: really? spill the tea

hemming-whay: don’t feign ignorance now, my friend

redriot: i beg your pardon?

hemming-whay: are you srsly saying u were so drunk u don’t remember?

Kirishima’s brow furrowed in confusion; did this mean he was the object of gossip?

Nah, can’t be, this was probably Denki messing with him.

redriot: dude, I wasn’t *that* drunk

hemming-whay: idk, you’re saying you don’t remember sucking face with blasty the whole night, i think people usually call that *getting wasted*.

Well, Kirishima certainly didn’t remember that.

Wait WHAT?!

hemming-whay: did you just say ‘wait what’ outloud?

hemming-whay: i think i heard it from downstairs

This couldn’t be happening. There was no way Kirishima Eijirou had kissed Bakugou Katsuki and not remember it. There was no way he had kissed Bakugou Katsuki – period.

For one, Bakugou didn’t do kissing; he had expressed out loud many times how he found no appeal whatsoever in any activity that would bring another person less than 1 meter away from his persona, except maybe fighting.

Secondly, Kirishima didn’t kiss people while drunk. That was rude and unmanly.

He would remember it for sure if it had happened. Kissing Bakugou was not something one would be able to forget just like that.

Kirishima was about to call Kaminari out for being a filthy liar, but the blond texted first.

hemming-whay: if u don’t believe me, which is rude of u bro, check the gc.

Kirishima swallowed loudly. His fingers brought him to the group chat at the speed of light, and he began scrolling up. He didn’t like what he saw.

He scrolled further up.

hemming-whay: GUYS THIS IS WORTH MILLIONS
