Don’t lie, you’ve been in this kind of situation before too.

Not specifically the minecart, but we’ve all been there.

Poor DK, he never catches a break, between the constant stealing of his bananas, the endless secrets that you need to make leap of faiths for and the confusing passageways that leads to collectibles not always making sense (seriously, I hear there are secret rooms within secret rooms!).

Always the butt of the joke since the good days of the arcade (might have been cranky of that one, but the moniker for the monkey carries along), he still stands strong and proud as the king of the jungle, the first member of the DK crew! THE BIG KAHUN– wait…scratch that one.

Personally i’m referencing Country Returns with this one (one of my favorites), but you could probably assume it to be pretty much any game on his franchise (…okay maybe not Barrel Blast or Donkey Kong 95), the mine melancholies will not be forgotten.

All those balloons spent trying to get that last lousy letter at the end of the minecart track…ironic given that most of the times the letters GIVE you balloons! It doesn’t make sense!

Ah well, such is life in the mines i guess.
