Everyday I wake up and think with myself how the world abandoned and ignored the fact that Kurdistan was experiencing a conflict between unarmed people and soldiers inside tanks ! People had to make strongholds in the streets!
How they shoot balouch children in the streets!
And how these terrorists murdered , raped and tortured thousands of people across the country
And how they gas poisoned girls in the schools
I asked myself how the world let that happen, then I answered "for the same reason they let your other middle eastern neighbours suffer"
.....
"benefits."

Islamic Republic’s football team unfortunately managed to defeat Wales today in the World Cup. They not only sang the anthem of the murdering Islamic regime, but they also celebrated each goal. Meanwhile, the rest of Iran is mourning the massacre of Kurds, the murder of Hasti, and the violent assault on Balouchis today.
I want to raise one thing - some of these players live in the west. Karim Ansarifard is married to a non-Iranian who can post photos of herself without hijab and wear whatever she wants without risking life and limb. These people are not facing the threats that the likes of Voria Ghafouri or Ali Daei are facing (both live in Iran), and yet, they have refused to stand by the people. They are spineless cowards who have chosen fame and fortune over human rights, their country and their people. History will remember which side they were on when it counted the most. We Iranians have LONG memories.
When we say “bisharaf” or "dishonourable”, this is what we mean. The least they could’ve done was to not celebrate two days after Hasti’s murder and on the very day that Zahedan has been once again attacked with hundreds dead and injured.
I have never wished for Iran’s football team to lose, but they are not our team. They are Islamic Republic’s team and I hope they lose massively to US and I hope US players snip their hair when they win or make some kind of statement.
But at the end of the day, let’s remember, these players are spineless and not worth our time. We shouldn’t let these cowards distract us from the main goal, which is freeing Iran and saving the lives of all Iranians. I’ll leave you with the photo below that symbolizes the unity of Iranian people. The photo is from Zahedan today where Balouchis were violently attacked. The sign reads “Condolence to Kurdistan. Balouch, Lor, Arab, Fars and all of Iran is supporting Kurdistan.”
Let’s keep the pressure on; let’s spread the news. For freedom of Iran and all Iranians!

top 5 non-Taylor artists!
i'm actually far more of a song-listener than an artist-listener — by which i mean i tend to discover songs i'm obsessed with for years to come when they jolt me on shuffle or when i hear something on the soundtrack of a movie or tv show and i just have to know what it is. the who of it all is rarely, if ever, a driving factor behind whatever i'm currently listening to me. my way of dealing with the daunting notion that i'll never be able to listen to all the music i want to before i die is to let the process be incredibly randomized, kinda to broaden the scope as much as possible.
so, take the top 5 with a grain of salt. i'm going with artists for whom i have to listen to every new album for in the past few years, even if they're not who i listen to the most at any given moment. (that list is as ever-changing as it is ephemeral.)

Blinken Lauds Heroes at Women of Courage Awards
Well, good morning, dear readers! Today, we're diving into an event that's as inspiring as it is significant—the 18th Annual International Women of Courage Award Ceremony. And let me tell you, it was a day to remember, filled with tales of bravery, resilience, and, of course, a dash of that indomitable spirit that defines true courage.
A Celebration of Courageous Spirits
Secretary Antony J. Blinken, alongside the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, and a host of other dignitaries, rolled out the red carpet at the White House to honor a group of women whose stories are nothing short of heroic. These women, hailing from the corners of the globe, have been advocating for change, fighting for rights, and facing down adversity with a bravery that's both humbling and empowering. And who better to lead this celebration than Secretary Blinken himself? With a tone that mixed the gravitas of the occasion with the warmth of a seasoned storyteller, he highlighted the achievements of these remarkable women. From advocating for domestic workers in Bangladesh to combating sexual harassment in Japan, these awardees are not just making waves—they're creating tsunamis of change. The Unsung Heroes Among Us What struck me most was not just the breadth of issues these women are tackling, but the depth of their commitment. Take, for instance, Marta Beatriz Roque Cabello, a Cuban human rights defender unable to attend due to restrictions by Cuban authorities. Blinken made it clear: though Marta couldn't join in person, her spirit and struggle were there, resonating with every word spoken. And then there's Fariba Balouch, whose perseverance in the face of threats from Iranian security forces is nothing short of awe-inspiring. "This is my path… responsibility. I refuse to be silenced," she declared. If that doesn't light a fire in your belly, I don't know what will. Championing Women's Rights as Foreign Policy It's heartening to see the United States standing firm in its commitment to women's rights, not just as a moral imperative but as a cornerstone of its foreign policy. With initiatives aimed at boosting women's political participation, ensuring their role in the clean energy transition, and a historic request to double foreign aid promoting gender equity, it's clear that when women do better, we all do better. Engagement and Enlightenment As we reflect on these stories of courage, let's not forget the power of our own voices and actions. Whether it's advocating for change in our communities, supporting global causes, or simply learning from these incredible women, we each have a role to play in building a more just and equitable world. In closing, let's take a moment to appreciate the power of courage, the strength of character, and the undeniable impact of women leading the charge for change. Here's to the women of courage, today and every day, who remind us that the fight for justice, equality, and dignity is always worth it. Cheers to them, and may their stories inspire generations to come. Sources: THX News & US Department of State. Read the full article
