Euroshipping but Seto Kaiba literally starts getting interested in Ryou because he develops an interest in the Blue Eyes White Dragon. After DSoD (and he has his manga coloring don't @ me), he started gravitating towards light-aligned creatures to try to fight off the constant nightmares, using them in his imagination in a "Picture them in your dreams so that the dreams will be less scary" kind of way. The BEWD was the one he started imagining, and eventually his artwork of the dragon gets popular on instagram. Kaiba finds it, realizes it's Ryou, and then also realizes something else: This man looks like his favorite trading card. White hair, blue eyes, pale skin. Just like every other BEWD related thing Seto owns, he needs to have Ryou, too. He's normal, he swears.

Kat was roused from sleep again, but this time it was from being picked up and carried. She yawned and looked around, realizing Bakura had carried her into the bathroom with them.

Wanting to go back to sleep, and being held close to her favorite spot, she decided to crawl inside Bakura’s top and curl up in the space between their breasts. Ryou might have gotten lucky and temporarily stolen her place, but he’d never be lucky enough to have his entire body pressed there.

The thief frowned as they walked to the walk. They raised a hand and touched one of the letters. It left a red stain on their fingers. They brought it to their nose, then licked it.

Bakura shook their head as they turned back to Kat.

"I knew it. It's not even real blood. It's tomato." The thief looked around like trying to search for the sign of a spirit. "No wonder no one takes ghosts seriously anymore."

Re was burning down onto the sand mercilessly and distorted the air around him into a mirage of slithering, dancing nothingness.

He was lying low for now, bidding his time. Heading out in this heat was a terrible idea and additionally it was only a matter of time, until he'd catch the lowly scum that had fled from him in a panic... especially if Re was playing into his hands so formidably.

He was assorting some of his arrows with knotted linnen patterns for easier discernability with his poisons, as he froze and put down the weapons slowly, shoving himself up the wall of the ruin he had taken refuge in and tried to stealthily look at the outside...

His target wouldn't be STUPID enough to return, take out they were ready to meet Ammit's jaws-

The hand that had reached for a knife was slowly untensing... was that... a foreigner-? Mariku frowned... he had never seen hair as white as that ..?!

Ryou sat on the ceiling, humming and watching through the skylight as the museum guards ran around, trying to figure out where the Millennium Ring had disappeared to.

Of course, he knew where it was. It was in his hands.

His father had placed it in the Ancient Egypt wing, and Ryou had wanted to let it be... But there was a pulling he felt towards it that was just too good to pass up.

Once he was sure they were all inside, Ryou began to sneak away, keeping to the shadows.
