just realized there was a gorgeous mediabook version of Every Kingdom and now im cursing and kicking my 12-year-old self for not being a ben howard fan in 2011
#all this sparked by my utter incredulity with what's happening to IFWWW's 10th anniversary releases#bait and switch with the clear pressing and now releasing a bonus track deluxe pressing that's 66 whole USD??#AND no bonus posters/photos/collectibles in that pricing? just two recolored vinyls and 4 tracks that should've been on the clear pressing?#hate this new music market. i dont want a bajillion alt colors i just want ONE high-quality anniversary ed with that era's cut content#maybe a signed thingamajig. a small non-poster token too mayhaps. is that so much to ask for#i remember being outraged at lungs 10th anniversary boxset being only a boxcover and some photocards and now i'm nostalgic for it. crazy.#impossible to have standards for anything nowadays#everything's cheap and slipshod without an ounce of creative thought. nevermind reflecting the genuine love and passion for the music?
