@hoeadventuredx starter for Henrietta!
Bairbre was checking out a mansion just outside of town. She had heard a 'Princess' lived here, so she was curious to see where she lived. Maybe if she were lucky, she'd catch a glimpse of this 'Princess.' That's when she does... She sees Henrietta just taking a walk outside.
"Oh I wonder if that's her? She fits the description..." Bairbre decides to come out from behind the tree she was hiding behind. "Hi there! Are you the 'Princess' of this mansion?"

Adding for the people who don’t read links, some of the fun facts within are
Because the evolutionary requirements for flight are so damn specific, birds have a lot less morphological variation than mammals.
The average bird body temperature is about 3 degrees warmer than average in mammals (around 40C or 104F).
Except ostriches. Cause they’re huge. This generally applies to other really large birds.
Birds can reduce heat loss by 12% by tucking their heads under a wing!
Cold air is very bad for birds.
Except penguins. Cause they’ve got extra fat insulation on top of feathers.
Birds pant when hot.
Except pigeons. Cause they do weird shit to their arteries. (Read the link it’s very interesting).
Can’t even begin to describe what’s up with bird skeletons. Divorced from context it 100% sounds like a description for what symptoms “Bone Hurting Juice” would do to a real life human.
Birds have huge hearts and a higher blood pressure. Real good at cardio them birds.
They have proportionally small lungs but those lungs are made of tubes instead of sacs so they don’t have a diaphragm. Meaning birds don’t breath “in and out” like we do but in some hyper efficient gas exchange method. They’re 10 times better at breathing than mammals.
Feathers grow from the bones, not the muscle or skin.
Bairbre O’Malley is the speaker of this article.
I purposely left out a couple of the interesting points of the article so now you have to read it if you want to know them all.
Haha!
(Seriously though it’s a good read, not that long and very accessible.)
I was randomly looking in to what the average bird blood pressure was and stumbled across this really well explained page that covers bird anatomy. It explains what’s different about them vs mammals and goes in to detail on how each system works including neat details like how they regulate body temperature (super helpful info for the upcoming summer temps!), why their heart and lungs are effective, and random fun facts like “plumage can weigh 2-3 times more than their bones”.
It doesn’t use a huge amount of difficult language either so it’s much more accessible for a lot of folks to read and learn from, good bullet points and formatting so it’s not a huge wordy booklet. Pretty to the point and interesting to read!

I've decided to add my two D&D OCs to my blog! So I'd like you to meet...
Bairbre Pennington!
A runaway Princess who joined an adventuring group that was sent to get her by her aunt after being rescued by them. She has since learned to become a rogue over the few years of adventuring.
Puck Viviette!
A wizard who spent most of his life living in a dense and dangerous forest with his grandfather until he passed and joined the same adventuring group as Bairbre.

♡ Crime (Bairbre)
♡ + a word for a headcanon!
"Crime is bad, but sometimes crime is necessary. I believe if people are truly struggling then some crimes are fine, like stealing. In the past I've had to steal a decent amount. I know I came from a rich family, but when I escaped I kinda just lived on the road with the Tantalus guild while making our way to Lindow."
"I only ever stole from bad people or the rich though. People who didn't really need or deserve what I stole. Being a rogue though, I've been hired to steal from specific people and sometimes I'll do it if I think the person fits the above criteria. Though sometimes I'm asked to assassinate someone and well... I don't do that. Not unless they're a really bad person and they deserve it."
