thinking about hex again i think it would be fun if like they were working at a theater or whatever and the people were like "we're making the switch to change all the house lights to LEDs finally but it's gonna be a shit job bc how are we going to reach all those really hard to get to high places that the lights go over the audience" and hex was just sitting there like. oh man. and petra's looking at hex like i know what you are. and hex sneaks back into the theater at night to use their spiderpowers to climb up into all those places and change the bulbs. i think itd be cute.

funniest character design moment was deciding that they'd choose to have an all white spider suit bc "it's the opposite of black and no one will ever suspect that i a techie am the miraculous arachnus if im wearing white bc stagehands never wear white" as if all of hex's coworkers didnt immediately draw the connection between their quiet nonbinary coworker who is always up in the highest parts of the theater rigging stuff up and the new nonbinary superhero who happens to utilize ropes as their "webs" and also always carries a toolbelt.

how are the OCs doing

they are doing so so well my friend!! i've actually been working on emily and clara's story more (i took roughly a 2 week break from their story to work on schoolwork and some smaller pieces) i always forget how fun it is to write for them until i actually sit down and do it <3

also alex my blorbo alex he is doing great!! i've considered posting his stories in fragments online modern acd style but idk?? (in summary) he's the human kid who was taken in by a nonbinary gay alien couple and now travels the stars with them in a spaceship he hardly understands. i've got some stellar fragments about him that i really like and i don't think would interest a publisher, so i might link a google doc here with them at some point <3 i love alex and i love helen (another character in this story who is basically like his younger sister) they are so so wonderful!!

can i request some clara lore... who is she...

Clara is a character from one of my WIPs, and she's been running around my head since I was in 3rd grade lol. She's essentially a knight from a matriarchal fantasy society where there are six genders that serve as ways to divide society into different societal groups/niches. For example, women are considered the most level-headed and 'important' group, so they are more likely to gain positions in government, whereas there is another gender (AhSozena or "zenh") that is considered an automatically Holy gender and instead tends to fill the niches of oracles and speakers for the gods.

Clara and her lover, another knight who are bound together in what is considered the most revered and honorable form of political and romantic union, are reassigned to work outside of the Holy City on the border between their country and one they view as hostile. Clara becomes a Speaker for a Holy being and begins to question her duty to her country and her faith as her relationship with her beloved begins to waiver under the stress of her newfound calling.
